We love the POST; this place is amazing and kicks ass. It got diverse food options and a great ice…read morecream spot. I love how you don't have to leave this establishment if you want more food. Better than your average mall food court! About the service, I like how the different restaurants text you when your food is ready opposed to just standing there giving you the ability to explore around. All the restaurants staff has been very nice each time I've come. Make sure you make thoroughly sanitize the table that you decide to eat at. I watched the most disgusting thing occur yesterday: a couple changing their baby on the bare table. Nasty! They didn't even wipe the table down then I watched a couple bring food to that same table and eat off of it! Anyways, the ambience is always chill hence people doing whatever they want. I love the industrial look of the place. You can walk around and find different atmosphere of this place. I discovered an area with all greenery; they don't take care of the plants as some have scale (weakness the lifespan of the plant), however very beautiful and calming area

Pistachios at POST Houston is definitely worth a stop, especially if you're a pistachio lover! I…read moretried their pistachio latte and really enjoyed the creamy, nutty flavor. It feels like a fun change from your usual coffee order and makes for the perfect little treat while exploring everything POST Houston has to offer. One thing I love is that you have options. You can get the pistachio drink as a classic latte or go for the matcha version if that's more your style. Either way, that pistachio flavor makes the drink feel a little more special and unique. Don't skip the pastry case either! They have a selection of pastries that pair perfectly with your drink, whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee break or want to sit down and enjoy something sweet. The shop is a great addition to a day at POST Houston. Grab your latte and a pastry, then walk around and explore the rest of the space. If you're already visiting POST for an event like Coffee & Cars, this is an easy stop to add to your day. Overall, Pistachios is a cute Houston coffee spot with delicious drinks, tasty pastries, and plenty of pistachio goodness. Definitely add it to your list!

Nippon Daido is a small Japanese grocery store located in Westheimer and Wilcrest. I would come to…read morethis grocery store all the time when I was a teenager. When I started my associates degree I would come here too since Houston Community College is right across the street from it. I am happy to see that this small grocery store is still standing. Although this grocery store is small, it carries a variety of products. It has poke bowls, rice bowls, sushi, and bento boxes for you in case you do not have time to prepare a meal. Nippon Daido also carries a large variety of beverages that are very known in Japan. They also carry different kinds of beer from Japan and sake as well. Everyone is obsessed with matcha right now and I saw they had a different variety of matcha. I myself am a fan of tea. Theu even have different kinds of tea that I hope to try all of them one day. If you are not a fan of tea, I also noticed they had different kinds of coffee. This grocery store also carries a good variety of Japanese candy. We have all seen and heard about the different kinds of KitKat, well, this place carries them. I ended up buying the milk tea KitKat and it a nice delight of a flavor. I noticed that this place carries stuff to do hot pot and barbeque items in the frozen section. Japanese ice cream is carried too like taiyaki vanilla ice cream and red bean ice cream. I myself am a big fan of Kirby and noticed they had a Kirby cup. As much as I wanted to buy it, I had to pass up on it today since I own too many Kirby items. They also carried some Sanrio items but a lot of kitchenware without any design. What I like about this grocery store is the fact they had origami paper and Japanese notebook if you wanted to practice writing in hiragana or katakana. I used to buy those notebooks when I was practicing learning how to write and understand Japanese. In the same section they had very adorable toothpicks to make your own bento box. Something new I saw was that this grocery store has its own little sweet shop called Sweets Oyatsu. I tried the strawberry matcha latte and from I am seeing their famously own strawberry mochi. When I tell you the strawberry mochi is to die for! It has a very sweet flavor coming from the strawberry itself with a hint of sweet red bean. The chewiness of the mochi made the experience even better. The strawberry matcha latte was pretty good. You could really taste the sweetness of the strawberry and the slight bitterness of the matcha. I grew up in Alief my whole life. Nippon Daido is a hidden gem that Alief has in Houston. This small grocery store really brings the Japanese culture closer to home. I always like supporting small local businesses and as much as I do not visit this area anymore. It reminds me to continue to support small businesses. I will try to visit this grocery store more often.

This place might have you covered! I also love this place because it has the cafe pop up Sweets Oyatsuku! Make sure to check heir instagram for what days they are open! The matcha was incredibly rich, nutty and creamy - you could taste the quality but definitely nothing mind blowing. I LOVED the strawberry red bean mochi daifuku. I would again just to get more! The workers were so sweet and nice. Go support and give them a try!
