Was quite disappointed. I ordered two meat plate with green beans and hush puppies. Got cold meat and baked beans. It was too busy for me to feel like going back after I'd already sat down. So I kept the beans but ended up tossing them because they were too sweet. Severely disappointed in the brisket which I had to pay extra for. The chicken seemed raw so I just brought it all home and will reheat the meat for a leftover meal. Can't say I would come back because I feel as busy as they were the food should have been hot.

The Motherload

We ordered the motherload since we were a party of eight. We also ordered the cobb salad. The motherload contained sausage, turkey, chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs. My favorite were the sausage, brisket and and ribs. For the sides, we ordered hush puppies, green beans, corn pudding and cornbread. The cornbread was okay and I am not a fan of hush puppies. This place is casual and we bussed our tables after eating. I enjoyed the BBQ sauces but I can't say I would go back if I am in the area.

Stellar service, decent food. Go on a weekend so you can see Miss Mo, she's the reason we come in. Ambiance is friendly and welcoming! Southern hospitality at its finest (with MissMo) We order chicken, cornbread, Mac n cheese. Brisket beans, and all the sauces! Triple Chocolate cake. We'll be back miss mo! Thank you

So good!! All the meat is so delicious and tender, but the brisket is our favorite! There are so many amazing sides to choose from as well. The corn bread is perfect! The staff is so friendly and welcoming!

2 Two Meats, Two Sides (Ribs and Pulled Pork). So good.

This place is good for what seems like a good bbq joint. I just moved from Texas and I need my brisket fix. This place has really good brisket that fills that need . Everyone here is really nice and helpful. Everything here is smoked or slow cooked just like I found in Texas. Glad I came across this place.

5-3-25. St. Louis style ribs. One eaten and one seconds before eating.

5-3-25. Visited here before catching a flight home. Very happy I stopped in. Tasted a few different items......pork ribs were terrific, moist and tender with a nice sweet, tangy sauce. BBQ chicken was juicy and flavorful. Pulled pork and chopped brisket sandwich was excellent, as was the pulled pork nachos. The side of collared greens was also very tasty. The "naked" sliced turkey was decent but not as good as the other meat items. Hush puppies were also pretty good. Mac and cheese had a nice flavor but was a little on the mushy side. You order your food at the counter, grab your own table and they call you to pick up your order when the food is ready. A no nonsense, non pretentious place to get some good BBQ. Staff was friendly. I'm glad I don't live anywhere near this restaurant because I'd be visiting too often and that would be very dangerous for my sodium and cholesterol intake. Overall, a very pleasant and satisfying meal.

City Barbeque is a quick chain option if you are craving some BBQ. You place your order at the counter then wait for it and find a place to sit. It was the two meats with two sides sampler (brisket, sausage, baked beans and green beans) for my husband and the 3 sides plate (baked beans, 3-cheese baked mac and potato salad) with a modelo for me. There was a ticket printing issue was not communicated to a few of us until we waited a bit. I also really wanted corn pudding but they were out of it. My favorites were the beans and sausage.

Easy peasy with a quick pick up! We are Northerners so sure we'd be considered connoisseurs but tasted great and was reasonable in price!

Wow. Just wow. I…read moredidn't intend to buy anything from the Humble Pig when I hit the food truck round-up at Perimeter Park yesterday. The friend I was with just wanted to take a peek at their menu so I walked over with her. She mentioned that she didn't like brisket and I briefly questioned our friendship. What kind of person doesn't like brisket? The guy at the window apparently agreed and offered her a sample. I tried it too and immediately ordered a plate of brisket to take home for dinner. This is the best brisket I have had since I've moved to NC. Possibly the best brisket that I've had ever if I'm telling the truth. I'm a huge brisket snob and this was so good it's got me still fantasizing about it. It was served with a side of coleslaw, which sort of tasted like cabbage with a bit of vinegar. I didn't love the coleslaw, but who cares about coleslaw when you have brisket like that? I'm going to be on the hunt to find that truck again. I need that brisket in my life.

The other side I ordered, was the cucumber with onion (bc sweet potato fries were not available) ...it was very little.. was very disappointed With the beef brisket I had. It was only 3 pieces .. most were vet Fatty... b.ut it still was extremely tasty. .. Slow service, lack of resources, especially being the "exclusive'food truck here, I would expect a lot more. On one, my son ordered the chicken Marsala, which we have enjoyed before but it's been a long time. This time it was just perfectly awful. Salty and very little flavor. I kept thinking "where is the Marsala"? Then we went this past Monday night. There was some confusion over the pizza special, which would have been ok except Seth the owner came over and handled the discussion so poorly that even the couple sitting behind us stopped by on their way out to say they were sorry for the exchange we experienced and would not be back. We probably won't be back either, which is a real shame because we are very loyal customers of many years. But there are other good Italian restaurants in the area without rude owners and who will appreciate the business. I'm sure this review will not impact Daniels business or cause Seth to change his demeanor, but just be forewarned that if you have an issue, the owner will not be helpful in resolving.

The Food Fairy did my wedding rehearsal dinner and went well beyond that of a caterer and personal chef. Terri, the founder and owner of the Food Fairy listened to what my fiancee and i thought we wanted, and made suggestions for food, a signature cocktail, and was able to accommodate our gluten free and vegetarian guests with more than your standard grilled veggies. She worked with us to craft a menu that represented the a fusion of our two separate tastes- for my fiancee, an avid shrimp enthusiast and meatball maniac, we had a deconstructed shrimp cocktail, and Parmesan meatballs with a "once in a lifetime sauce." For me, a dumpling evangelist and lover of all cheese the Food Fairy prepared seared pork and scallion dumplings and a cheese cake! No, I don't mean your standard cake, I mean throw out your idea of a cheese plate, and instead construct what appears to be a cake out of wheels of cheese. And that only names a few of the 16 delicious items that were served on our special day.
