Despite all the great reviews here, my experience was very different. I scheduled an appointment and the owner got sick (no problem, it happens), so we rescheduled. I took off from work and waited and waited. No one showed up. Called them, lady said there was a mistake and she'd reschedule, but she keeps promising to call me right back (multiple times) and then simply doesn't call me back. Super unprofessional and rude. Update: I am updating my review to 4 stars, since the owner contacted me and offered me a free carpet cleaning due to the mess up with my reservation. He came on time and my carpets look amazing. This company is the best. Alex did wonderful job for us yesterday. He removed all (!!) spots from our VERY dirty (we have 2 little children) white sectional sofa and dining upholstery light green chairs. I thought that my sofa would never be so clean again, I thought it is impossible. I even thought to throw it away in the near future and buy a new one (however, the only problem with it was the dirty color). But now it is like new! The thing is that I can compare how this kind of companies work. And I must say Citrus Plus is the best. Since then I am going to use only their services. Last year I ordered the cleaning of this sectional and chairs from other company (I do not know if I can write their name here, but I will go ahead to their yelp profile and will leave negative review there now). They left our sofa absolutely dirty, all the spots were left there. They just told me that this kind of spots are not removable, it is not possible. I believed them and was forced to live with dirty sofa for a year. This year I called Citrus Plus and they simply removed all the spots including new ones. Alex from Citrus Plus spent 3 times more time than that other unprofessional company last year, he did lots of work manually (unlike that other company that have not done manual work at all), and only at the end used their machines, he removed every spot by hands. So I understood that last year I just threw away my money. Plus Citrus prices were quite affordable. At the end I paid the same and even less as last year to that awful company that left my items dirty. Plus it was very easy to make an appointment in Citrus. I just sent them an email with estimation request with photos of my items attached, Craig answered almost momentarily with their estimation. Then they came on the next day and cleaned everything and charged no more than they stated in the email. After these experiences two experiences I must say that upholstery and carpet cleaning is something that you have to order only from the best and very few companies on market ( like Citrus), it is not something you can try to save money on (I believe on groupon you can find better price, but at the end they will charge you the same or even more adding different kind of charges they have not mentioned from the beginning, and the most important - most of the companies won't be able to do its work properly and you basically will just throw away your money). I was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the service I received. I had them clean a sofa, an oversized chair, and an area rug. My whole house smells like citrus now. It's wonderful! Vadym was on time, courteous, thorough, and very friendly. I had my dog confined in a back room so that she wouldn't interfere and he heard her crying and offered to let her come out and check him out so she wouldn't be nervous. He pet her and let her check out his gear, and she was great after that. I had my carpets cleaned several months ago. Within a few weeks, they started to look grungy again and it's just me in the house and I mostly do not wear shoes inside. Craig was very nice, professional, timely. VERY good service. They used a non-toxic liquid citrus solution which they spray on the carpet and rotating cloth brushes to clean the carpet. I kept asking how the dirt comes 'out' of the carpet simply by rubbing it? I don't think it really does, at least not very much of it. If you have some dirt on your carpet and you rub it with a cloth, sure the cloth gets dirty, but is all the dirt out or just rubbed in and spread around? I would recommend these guys for someone with clean carpets that wants them freshened up a bit, not for someone that needs their carpets 'cleaned.' read more

I couldn't believe the number of 5 star reviews, but I decided to take a chance. And here I am rating them 5 stars. Professional service, on time (arriving and leaving), entered the house wearing bootie covers, no change in price, carpets came out cleaner than I would have expected and it smelled nice. I'm not sure how green the process is -- I've got this nagging feeling that the solution is a cocktail of perchloroethylene, trichloroethane and hexachlorodibenzofuran* masked by a tropical fruity orange extract, but as long as I pretend to not know, it works really well. Edit: * this was an attempt at humor. These are all random chemical names I pulled from a superfund site. The owner Craig has contacted me and assured me that none of these chemicals are in the cleaning solution, which only contains a few magic drops of orange oil called D-Limonene. I looked up D-Limonene on the internet. It is Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) by the federal government. It is used to flavor food. It also dissolves cholesterol, and has shown to help breast cancer and colorectal cancer patients. It relieves GRD and heartburn. You can buy a bottle of 60 caplets at Walgreens for $9.49. ... It also dissolves gunk out of your carpet. I'm still not convinced it doesn't contain just a little bit of hexachlorodibenzofuran, since that is just a cool sounding chemical :) read more

Watch out guys. Whatever they use works well initially bit after a few months all the stains just simply re emerge. All the stains in our carpet are back. The exact same spots are suddenly dark again. Looks like it's just some kind of artificial cover up that wears off It's not an actual clean. That's my guess. Not that it matters. read more

Very efficient and polite service from Citrus Plus. I got a reminder email a few days before my appointment, as well a text message when they were on their way. They were on time and didn't leave a trace of mess behind after they left. My carpets look great, refreshed and much fluffier than before. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it's a little pricey if you only have a couple of rooms to have cleaned. There is a minimum charge and unfortunately, with only two carpeted rooms in my apartment it feels a little expensive. But I'm very happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again. read more

I called Craig and told him how bad my dad's carpets were. When Craig came out he was very honest and open with me about my dad's carpets. Citrus Plus did carpet cleaning in our townhouse this week. We liked everything starting scheduling the service, answering all our questions to cleaning itself. The results are amazing. I needed an early Saturday appointment, and CitruSolution was able to move another appointment to accommodate me. What a nice way to start! On the day of the appointment, Alex, the technician, texted and called me when he was running 30 mins late. 30 mins later, the door bell rang. Pricing was very straight forward as listed on their website. No hidden fees or unnecessary up-sell. Alex was courteous - had his boot covers on with an iPad for pricing/invoice. He worked efficiently. When I asked him to touch up on the top of the stairs again to see if more stains could be removed, he did it without any attitude. ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE THROUGH AND THROUGH!!!!! Here is my experience exactly as it happened. I called and left a message to get in touch for details. Craig called within hours (AWESOME) I did my best to explain him the layout of my house and got an estimate from him. I had quotes from several other carpet cleaners which were considerably lower than Craig's quote but I wanted a much more eco friendly option so I decided to go ahead. The place I wanted to get cleaned was a rental property we were vacating. So I didn't really need to do an awesome job but I would have felt really bad knowing I compromised on quality and health( in case the new people have kids.. ) and environment. So I tried to follow "leave things in much better state than you first found them in" Julio came in the morning. Measured the entire place and started feeding the data on his iPad app.( SUPER TECHY AWESOME ). This data was instantaneously accessible to Craig as we talked about the final price ( which turned out to be a little more than the estimate) but I knew that because our living room shape was weird and I knew that could end up begin 2 rooms. The additional price was not hugely off from the estimate coz we had factored this ambiguity in. Another great job on Craig's part to estimate it better. (AWESOME) Julio started his job by vacuuming the place first. I think he is the BEST employee anyone can have. Extremely considerate, polite and thorough. He left a lasting impression on us for sure. Craig don't let anyone snatch him away from you lol !!! Julio made Craigs business that much more (AWESOMERR). We left the place for few hrs while Julio cleaned it and came back 15 mins before he would finish. As soon as I entered our place I am not kidding by my eyes were wide open with happy surprise. The place was super clean and smelled great. I felt like making snow angels or should I say carpet angels on the clean carpet. But it was a little wet so I resisted. :) Craig may be you can add this to your advertisement " we clean carpets so good that they will make you do carpet angels on them hahahaha " Julio went over and beyond to clean our place. (AWESOME) He got delayed at our place and that is why the next clients were hampered a bit but let me point out that the bad review is for some management issue. Which I am sure Craig will correct soon. But that negative review is not even for his service. And let me tell you his service is out of this world. Yesterday was a super hot day too. But Julio plowed through all those odds. (AWESOME) If you want to avoid the credit card usage fees make sure you have cash or cheque ready for Julio. And if you wish to pay by credit card then they have a card reader ready to do it right on site. Would have been nice to know about the additional credit card fee coz then I would have had the cash ready but Julio ( because he is so awesome ) agreed to wait 8 mins more while we quickly drove to the store down our street to get cash. We would have been able to save that time for him. Btw as I mentioned earlier this was the place we were vacating out off. Which means I knew we were not going to be able to reap the benefits of the clean carpet and I was already sad about that. To make matters worst our land lady didn't even care about the choice I made. She wanted me to use the least expensive solution and baby sit the cleaners and make sure they do a job that is infinite time better than what you pay. People are weird in this world.. oh well !! I can tell you that story later ... Back to Craig's Business and his service. :) Super super happy with the entire experience. I do not have enough words to express it all. You just have to experience it for yourself. I highly recommend Craig's business to everyone. One should choose good solutions especially when it comes to carpets where we spend most of out time. We have had our carpets cleaned by this company on two different occasions, and both times have been spectacular. The cleaners are courteous, on-time, fast, and just awesome. The most recent time we had this company come was to remove a very bad doggie poopoo mistake after our dog had been very sick. The cleaners worked super hard at removing the stain and while you can still see there was something there, their work was remarkable - think along the lines of liquid black turned to a light desert sand on a creamy brown carpet. I had CitruSolution come in and clean the carpets of an apartment I was moving out of. Now, I didn't necessarily think the carpets were that bad. We have a dog that we walk daily, but we maintained them pretty well. I was shocked and slightly embarrassed to see the change in the color of the carpets when we finally moved the furniture out. This is my 4th time using CitruSolutin for my carpets and upholstery and I am super thrilled to have found a company that I can rely on. I used steam for many years, but found that some tech's made my carpets too wet...not good for the pad or carpet backing. So now I prefer something that will dry in a couple of hours, and CituSolution does this for me. I am also a very picky customer and I do not have a worry in the world w/this team. After reading some reviews...the carpet is a bit starchy after drying but once it is vacuumed it is soft and fluffy and CLEAN !!! Amazing! Craig came yesterday and cleaned my heavily stained carpeting (it is 14 years old and we have pets). I noticed the wonderful citrus fragrance while Craig was setting up. Much nicer than the wet dog smell with steam cleaning. It only took about 1.5 hours for Craig to turn carpeting in my living room, dining room, hallway and 2 bedrooms, to looking like new. I mean brand new! My aunt came by later and commented that the carpet looked like it did when I first moved in 14 years ago. Alex was fantastic. It cost one hundred fifty to do my one bedroom apartment. That's just fine. And the carpets were super gross from not being cleaned for 6 1/2 years and vacuumed only once during the first year. They look great and smell orangey fresh. Alex showed up exactly on time which is very important to me. When I make an appointment, I show up on time and I expect the same from others. He cleaned my 3 rooms (2 bedrooms + 1 living room + small hall (free)) in just under and hour. I love these folks! Craig is wonderful, though he has never cleaned my carpet. I always have the gentleman Vadeen (spelling). Vadeen is a GOD!! So meticulous, thorough and sweet spirited. They have my business for as long as I am in the area. Yes the price is a bit high, but carpet is a bit gross, so having someone clean it efficiently is of the utmost importance.
