Within less than an hour of sending a service request Albert had contacted me with a quote and I booked for the next day. I have never met a contractor who has more knowledge or passion for what he does for a living. Craig told me everything he was going for my carpets, and carefully explained the process and what makes his unique ability and equipment the perfect combo for getting carpets, rugs and upholstery clean. He cleaned our carpet and a wool rug and both came out looking exceptional. By far the best work we have ever had done on a high-traffic carpet. The kicker is that Citrus Plus only uses safe products on my carpet that include a light orange solvent ( the orange mist that comes from when you squeeze an orange peel ) and Probiotics that eliminate harmful bacteria in the carpet and in the air. Citrus Plus equipment was so effective, you could see old cleaners left by other cleaners going up through the hose as bubbles. Citrus Plus does not use products that bubble so it was clear those were residual. Craig was explaining that the products he uses leave no residual only clean, healthy carpet and floor surfaces that have a very light pleasant smell while they are drying. I won't be using anyone else for my carpets. Oh, and Craig was on time and ready to go for an efficient turnaround and carpets were only slightly damp which meant they dried within a couple of hours. In talking with Craig he explained why his 25 foot-only hose and portable suction system was far more effective than "truck-mounted" units which might have between 50 and 100+ feet of hose that loses suction foot over foot. I love Citrus plus, even my neighbor said they are doing a great job, my house had very strong pets smell mostly from urine embedded in the wood, when Citrus plus is done, I can smell nothing but gentle smell of the cleaner from the wood, I've asked beforehand if they are able to remove urine odor from hardwood floor, most people say they can't give a 100% guarantee, nor did Citrus plus, but from the result I've seen, they've done so much more than I expected. I had garage floor cleaned also, with high pressure water I believe, super clean, wow on that too! They will confirm with your appointment, if they can't make it on time, they will call to let you know, very good communication. We messaged Citrus Plus to inquire about having our carpets professionally cleaned before we moved out of our duplex. After living here for 13 years the carpets had seen there fair share of foot traffic and we thought this would be the best plan of action to tackle the carpets. Messaged them Wednesday and choose our day to have them come out. We had our apt. time for 9:45am Friday. Through the website they sent a follow up text message the morning of letting us know Craig would be arriving in 15 minutes prior to the apt. time. He arrived on time and was very professional. After a quick walk through and setup he went to work. He spent the extra time to really make sure they had a deep clean even spending some additional time on the high traffic areas. It took only about an hour and the results came out amazing!! When he was done he even showed me how much dirt he was able to pull out from the carpets it was unreal! We would highly recommend him and his cleaning services. The carpets came out looking like new, the fluff was back in them, even the color felt lighter and they smelt fresh and clean. Only took a few short hours to fully dry and we couldn't be more pleased! We will def. be using Craig and his services again in the future for other properties we have. Called at 1:00 and said they couldn't make it for the 1:00 scheduled time. Asked if they could reschedule for a different day because their last client wanted more services. And if not they would be at least 2 hours late. Explanation given by more than one employee: the other job was a big one and they made over $1k, so the new assistant shouldn't have scheduled such a small job on the same day. Don't insult me by giving me terrible service and expect me to be happy about it. 4 calls between 1-3 asking us to move the cleaning to another day because the first client wanted more services. We refused each time. Once they finally arrived over 3 hours after the scheduled appointment, one of the cleaners kept telling the other one that he knew how to do the job better "because he had done 1,000" jobs like this and to stop trying to remove some of the stains on the carpet. Both seemed to be unconcerned about getting things clean but more about getting the job done fast. It was almost like they were near quitting time and were angry that they had to do the job. One cleaner told us they didn't help move furniture (or lift it up) and had no special products for cleaning pet stains or tough stains-- even though this had been discussed at booking. For your info: 1. my husband and I are agents w/ Alain Pinel realtors and are very picky clients 2. have white carpeting (in our personal home) in formal living & dining rooms, on stairs & in 4 bedrooms 3. we have lots of pets (which means that we have had our pets who threw-up on our white carpeting! Ugh.) Craig's cleaning method dries much faster than other "wet" carpet cleaning methods, cleans better than "chem" type methods, doesn't require a hose being dragged into your home from his auto, the Citrus cleaning method has a pleasing fragrance and, last but not least, stains didn't reappear once the carpeting dried (as had occurred with previous carpet cleaning methods we've used). We can't sing Craig Radley's praises loud enough....he is a former realtor (in Florida, not CA), is very service oriented, and will make you proud of your own carpeting again...even his auto and trailer (in which he stores the carpet cleaning equipment) is attractive & professional /isn't unsightly when parked in front of your home! At the time of service, I was given a bottle of citrus carpet cleaning solution. It works mostly just okay, I thought until yesterday. I spilled a tea from a travel mug which was leaking that I didn't know. The amount of the tea seemed a lot (the diameter was about 3 inches), and I took out the citrus cleaner and sprayed the wider area. Sprayed, rubbed, wiped, and repeated several times. It became clear, and we had it dried. The next day, yesterday, what we found was the stain became golden brown and wider (the diameter was about 10 inches up to the whole area I sprayed). Oh no!!! So, I eventually used a regular chemical carpet cleaner which is sold at supermarket, and the disaster became calm. I. however, need to repeat the process a few time more to make the area really spotless. I am still giving two stars because I doubt it was cause due to a mix of tea and citrus. But wait! Tea is a regular food, if the citrus cleaner doesn't go well with food, what is the good cause to use it? You may want to think twice before cleaning a food stain on the carpet. read more
