Fantastic! Hugo and Herman did a superior job cleaning my shag carpets and a cloth sofa that hadn't been cleaned in several years. They were dingy and I was embarrassed to have guests over. I had tried a mini Bissell to spot clean and store bought upholstery cleaner on my own which worked only minimally. Remarkably, pet stains (cat vomit) that had been there for years that 3 other local carpet cleaning companies (Genesis for one) could not get out, were gone. I was shocked. The couch that was heavily soiled became spotless as I watched Hugo skillfully use this hand tool with the steam cleaner to get the stains out one by one. The cost was $360 for a 948 sq foot area, 2 bedrooms, combined dining room and living room areas, long hallway + the couch. It took about 90 minutes, and the carpet was only mildly damp at completion as they used these super dryer devices. Very pleased with the value--especially when I think of the money I spent on the Bissell, cleaning products and couch cover up devices. But the relief in now feeling like I can have people over without embarassment is priceless. Hugo who I believe is the owner was kind and friendly, a real pleasure to work with--he's really rather charming, has a big smile that lights up the room and a personality to match. His co-worker Herman was also very nice. I will only do business with this company in the future. . .Highly recommend. read more

Hugo was responsive to my request, very welcoming and professional when we met. My apartment had a pet stain and regular foot traffic over the year. Hugo was able to make the place look like new! We had a strange smell coming from the carpet upstairs in our townhome. Despite multiple requests for rescheduling on our part, Hugo was very understanding and was able to come out and do the work to clean the carpet in both upstair bedrooms and the stairs leading upstairs. Hugo arrived earlier than the scheduled time and was ready to work promptly. Hugo was thorough and worked with us to let us know what furniture he could work around and even helped me move what I needed help with. He even cleaned an area rug in our living room at no additional charge. I would recommend Hugo due to his attention to detail, work ethic and positive attitude! Fast forward almost 3 years later, I figured why re-invent the wheel right? Since Hugo did an excellent job for me in the past, I figured I'd give him a call again. I know, who wants to read a review for a carpet cleaning business right? Don't kid yourselves! Some of us still have area rugs, or carpet in at least 1 room! That said, you have to eventually get them steamed or cleaned! If not, that is just straight up NASTY! I knew I was pressing my luck by calling the same week I needed service, but you'll never know until you ask. When Hugo answered the phone, I didn't expect him to remember me, but I did mention that I've used him in the past. He requested that I text him my address. I still had his number saved, so I was able to text him immediately after our call. He responded within minutes asking, "Is this Robert H.?" I responded affirmatively. Right then we were able to establish that I was a repeat customer. Did that help? It sure did! He actually moved a few things around to squeeze me in. Project: Area rug Results: Amazing! Spots disappeared, colors were revived, and it smelled like I threw it in the washer! I'll admit that my area rug wasn't filthy, but it did have a handful of spots here and there that I couldn't get rid of with regular carpet cleaning sprays. Side note: If your carpet hasn't been steamed in a year or so, don't be cheap! Buck up and call Hugo! Get a couple quotes first, he will work with you. Conclusion: Hugo is my go-to carpet dude! read more

Just had our carpet cleaned today, very happy with their service and result. They arrived on time. They both had mask on and shoe covers on. I really appreciated that Hugo made sure paid special attention on the area had kids pee spots, he also used fans blowing on the carpet after finished, that'll reduce a lot drying time which I haven't seen other carpet cleaning people done before. I can see that Hugo and his guy trying their best to give best service. I'll use their service again in the future and recommend them to my friends. read more

Hugo and his team was very professional and they did an excelllent job in my house. My carpet really needed a deep cleaning and removing the urine stains from my dog. Hugo and his ream did an excellent job. The company is super responsible from the first moment when I call to make an appointment and ask some questions. Very reasonable price, really a great job. I recommend it 500%, I will not wait that long without cleaning my carpet, and something that caught my attention was how quickly the carpet dried. The last time another company came to clean it a month after it was washed, the water still felt, so in the end the carpet was dirtier than when we paid for it to be cleaned. We've always done our own deep carpet cleaning by renting one of those shampoo vacuums. I saw someone on my fb posting a pic of her super clean carpet. I decided to reach out and sent a message via yelp to inquire about pricing. Hugo was so quick to respond with the information. We decided to give it a try this time around. I had a ton of questions prior to the actual setup. Hugo responded to everyone of them at a timely manner. I had Hugo come to the house while I was at work. Prior to coming, he was already aware that there's a lot of items that we could not move. He helped to move some items and was able to clean around what we didn't want to move. Our carpets are originally white/cream color but became pretty much black b/c of the high foot traffic with leaving or shoes on and from our dogs (one of which was really old bulldog who couldn't control her bladder and slobber). I was afraid that the stains will never go away. When the cleaning was done, Hugo was kind enough to send me a message to let me know that he was done and even sent an after picture of the job. Omg! The black stains disappeared and looks like we just moved in again. He did such an amazing job! I will definitely be contacting him in a few months to do it again. Thank you Hugo! read more

After spending several hundred dollars, we hired another company to complete the work. We requested another specialist from Grout Kings to handle our project, but they were inflexible and insisted that they could do it correctly. What was initially estimated to cost a few hundred dollars ended up costing a couple of thousand. I cannot recommend Grout Kings, as their work did not meet the quality promised online.

My experience with Bay Stone Depot was extremely frustrating and disappointing…read more I purchased two stone slabs for my home, expecting premium quality and service given the price. Within weeks after installation, pit marks and dents began developing on the surface. Over the following months, additional defects continued to appear under normal use. When I reported the issue, Bay Stone initially acknowledged it as a quality concern but directed me to work directly with their supplier rather than handling it themselves. After months of follow-up, the supplier's representative inspected the slabs and offered replacement slabs. I then returned to Bay Stone to request some form of refund instead of replacement, since the cost of uninstalling and reinstalling the slabs makes the replacement offer impractical and financially unreasonable. Bay Stone indicated that a refund might be possible but claimed the supplier required the original slabs to be returned. That was not what I had been told. After I confirmed with the supplier that returning the originals was not required, Bay Stone changed its position. The manager, Kimberley, told me it was "not scientifically possible" for pit marks to develop after installation and suggested I should have identified the issue at delivery. I provided multiple dated photos showing the progression of the defects. After that, my messages went unanswered. What stood out most was the lack of ownership and empathy. Kimberley was not apologetic and did not appear interested in finding a practical resolution. Instead, responsibility was repeatedly shifted, and ultimately, the issue was attributed to me for not raising it at delivery, even though the slabs appeared fine at that time. It felt as though once payment was made, accountability ended. When customers pay premium prices, they expect both quality materials and meaningful support if something goes wrong. In my case, that expectation was not met.

Denise has very deep experience, and Tileshop provided me with excellent communications as well as prompt and courteous service. In addition to her impressive expertise, I found Denise to be a most patient and caring individual - rare based on my visits to many other tile shops. Denise even recommended that I visit certain competitors before I finally returned to complete my puchase there. The prices are reasonable, and Tileshop promptly credited my account for an unused bag of grout and for unopened boxes of tile, the latter subject to a restocking charge of 25% which I think is reasonable.

They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.

When finished with each area they asked if I wanted to check the area first for anything missed, another thing I appreciated.
