The Man: The work was done by an Eastern European worker. Ask for him as he does an EXCEPTIONAL job in cleaning. He's VERY thorough and his pride in his work is "old school" good. He cleaned as how I would clean my carpet with the machine in my hand--with care and total thoroughness. Prices: Decent but on the high side. High enough to make you look at very good but cheaper competitors. The Work: The technique they use isn't steam clean. They spray your floor with an orange cleaning agent coming from a Ghostbuster jet pack on the cleaner's back and then they use a rotating brush machine on top of the carpet to clean followed by a vacuum. The end result is that the carpet looks clean, but kind of stiff in little corners where the machine didn't quite get to (not a big deal). The technique they use is different than steam clean. I have a slight concern that the dirt isn't picked up like a steam machine. The orange cleaning agent does clean stains but that dirt isn't really sucked up (yes, they vacuum afterwards but isn't really the same thing). It looks clean, but I wonder if it's more of a mask than a real clean. Time will tell how well the clean holds up and I'll edit this review if it starts to get dirty before a fair amount of time. They advertise the orange agent will be a resistor to dirt better than steam clean. We'll see. After the cleaning (carpets smelling fresh, like oranges), they give you a bottle of the orange agent stuff for future spot cleans. That was a nice touch.....a very nice touch, as I always do spot cleans for pets and such. Bottom Line: As long as the prices remain competitive and fair and he offers discounts, then I would use them again. Definitely worth a try to see a different method of cleaning than what you're used to with other services. Craig is the best, and I have never met him nor has he come to our house. Let me explain. Our kids got BBQ sauce on our new cream colored microfiber couches on Saturday morning. (Don't ask why we own new white couches with 2 toddlers though you can read about it in my NorCalFurnture review). I called about 5 places with good yelp reviews that day and most were closed or could only schedule an appointment later in the week. Then I called Craig. I was desperate and probably sounded it.. He explained to me exactly what to do to get the stain out (lots of blotting with water and a white cloth). He said "Call me back if you do not get the stain out, and I can come, but most of the time, you should be able to remove it." And it worked! I just had my carpets cleaned by CitruSolutions and I wish I had called them the first! Their process is 10X better than the two other "Green" companies I used before. I have three kids, cats and a dog and they have done a number on the carpets. CitruSoltions almost made the carpets like new. I did have areas, that the cats "took over" that still needs more attention so when I called, the owner, Craig, was on it! He is coming right back out to insure that I'm %100 satisfied. I already am since my carpets are so clean again and no chemical smell. Since the carptets where in such bad shape, I think extra cleaning was performed and it took much longer for the carpets to dry. I'm a believer. So to start, I have an upcoming shoulder surgery and I'm prepping my 750 sq foot apartment to be nice, clean, organized, and fresh as the recovery is not a pleasant nor short one. I've been in my apartment about 2 years and never had the carpets cleaned. I've been working from home for about half that time. Between bros nights, football parties, BBQs, and constantly being home working while also maintaining an active lifestyle on weekends, the carpets needed serious attention- stains from who knows what, mountain bike dirt, and all kinds of fun build up. The CitruSolution team showed up early- having called me first to make sure it was ok and worked with my schedule. They evaluated the task I lay before them, including an area rug to hide what's underneath, and confidently informed me, "No problem." I really like their process, the whole idea is around extraction without harsh chemicals. Steam cleaning just shoves dirt deep in your carpets where it gets to reside, fester, and stink. CitruSolution's process was all about pulling the the dirt out and getting it away from the base, which makes a lot of sense. The end result, there were 0 stains on my carpet. My carpet magically changed colors too- it went from tan to a brilliant off white. It smells great too, not like I live with a kennel full of wet dogs as with steam cleaning. The best carpet cleaner around, hands down! We were having issue with "pet smell" and just generally dirty carpet. Craig's crew showed up promptly and even proceeded to knock a few dollars off the price after having seen the size of our place. The carpets have never been so clean! I am a long time Yelper with very rarely the motivation to write a review and this is a huge exception. I could go on and on about Craig, his team and CitruSolution but the bottom line is - use them - its absolutely the right answer to carpet cleaning. We have two young boys, a five month old puppy and a well used backyard which meant a berber carpet with stains, odors, heavy traffic and you name it. Not only did Craig and team clean it - he came back with zero complaints on a days notice for a second odor treatment for the puppy accident hot spots which worked like a charm. Do NOT use this service. The customer service attitude is completely faulty. I politely asked the scheduler to be careful next time because I spelled my name and email several times because she misspelled it at first and I wanted to make sure she got it right, and still she didn't send the email to the right place. When I didn't get the email, it caused a delay that caused me to lose my preferred time slot in my busy schedule. It was very inconvenient for me to find a way to correct the error through their web site, which I didn't know about and I couldn't attend to because I was completely busy during business hours. This caused me to lose the preferred slot in their schedule, and it was not at all my fault. Craig the owner's assumption that I spoke rudely to the scheduler was completely uncalled for. I didn't speak rudely to her at all. I was kind but firm. I told her I thought it was wrong, but I did it with the right tone of voice. He sent me a rude email saying that he was canceling my appointment because of MY disrespect, of which there was NONE! I only politely asked the scheduler to confirm that she could move things from one side of the room to the other, which she didn't really confirm. She only said she didn't move things over 50 pounds. I had to asked her (again politely) if the workers could move something under 50 pounds. It was something that I really couldn't get a positive confirmation for. Craig even left me a voice mail saying that he wanted me to call him back, which I didn't have time for today. I also sent the company an email that was firm but very polite. There was nothing in it at all that was impolite. There were no obscenities. There were no capital letters. There was no name calling. Just a firm but polite request that they be more careful in the future, which is called for because I missed the best scheduled appointment time in my busy schedule due to an error that I tried politely to correct by spelling my name several times, politely. It seems to me that another customer got angry with Craig the owner today about breaking something, which he didn't do, and he was then taking it out on me. He mentioned it in his email to me. It will be very inconvenient for me to find another carpet cleaner with my busy schedule. I didn't appreciate Citrus Plus's treating me with such disdain before they even found out what really happened. read more

I absolutely recommend Citrus Plus. Prior to booking an appointment, I spoke with Craig, the president of the company, via email. I was able to send him an exact floor plan of our home with measurements and receive an exact quote as a result. Most of our communication has only been through email, but I could tell that Craig was a very friendly person. The gentleman who came to our home, his name is Nicholas, actually showed up a little bit earlier than our scheduled time, and that was no problem at all. After a brief walk through, he got right to work. The overall time it took for him to finish was about an hour, maybe an hour and 30 minutes. I have never gotten my carpets cleaned before, and so I always assumed it'd take much longer. Craig and his assistant are THE BEST!!! It was such a pleasure to work with them. Situation: I called around 11am in DESPERATE need to get the carpets in my condo cleaned before it was to be rented out. I tried to clean the carpet on my own with a home carpet cleaner and it just ended up eating up part of my carpet. (Lesson learned I will never clean my own carpets) So I called Craig and he was able to squeeze me in THAT SAME DAY for a late afternoon appointment. They worked some magic on the carpet because after 5 years of neglect it looked great! And the best part was the carpet cleaning left behind a great light orange fresh scent. I'm totally hooked on their service and I think our HOA president is too. He happened to walk by as the cleaning was commencing and said there could be a possibility to have a contract with CitruSolution's to clean all the carpets in everyone's units. Used this service 3-4 times and I love the clean and smell! I have old carpet so some high traffic areas are still sort of grey which can't be helped. The difference before and after the first clean was huge. Craig had done a great job of getting it from a huge black/ dark grey area in the hallway to a much fainter grey that blends better w/ my cream carpet. Everything else is clean and spotless in all my other rooms from their citrus solution. It dries fairly quickly within a few hours and the citrus smells very pleasant. They leave a bottle of their solution for you before they leave which is nice to have for small spills. While I preferred Craig's cleaning the first time, the guys he hires to come out the subsequent times have been courteous and do a good job too. The second time I also paid to have my roommates's couches cleaned (a little pricier but worth it) because of dog hair, which made a huge difference afterward. Never wanted to sit on it before but now it's presentable without leaving dog hair all over my clothes. Citrus-Plus and Craig have litterally been a lifesaver for my clients and myself during the pandemic. Being a Realtor during covid has definitely presented is challenges, but when one of my sellers tested positive for covid the only option was to take the house off the market and to protect anyone that could be exposed. Wonderful customer service and work! They originally came to clean my carpets and while they were cleaning my carpets they recommended having the grout in my bathroom cleaned and repainted/resealed. It looks soooo good and so clean and refreshed. Before the grout made the floor look dirty, even when it was clean because the grout had absorbed dirt and grime over time. Most unfortunately, I have been in urgent need of carpet cleaning twice within the past few weeks. First one dog had diarrhea and then this morning, the other one had it, and I do mean all over the only room in our house with decent carpet. What a mess! Both times the customer service was excellent! The first time Craig went to great effort to assist me as soon as possible. After some discussion, we thought that the non- water extraction version might be sufficient so Vadym came and did that. When I determined that the carpet still smelled in the worst spot, owner Craig was happy to come out and redo it with the water extraction at no charge. The second time, I called at 8am (a Saturday) and he called back within half an hour and he and an assistant were here in the early afternoon. Amazing customer service! House smells great. I asked to do a carpet cleaning for my upstairs bedrooms. The guys did a good job and fast. The smell left was refreshing. I was given a bottle of cleaning detergent as well. Pricing was not the best but I think you get what you paid for. Area rug cleaning was not really worth it. Also in the original price quote, it didn't mentioned there will be a charge for the hallway, which should be included in the quote (what kind of structure is with 3 bedrooms without a hallway??) All in all, it's not bad. I will probably use this service again. read more

As much as the folks there were super nice and friendly, the actual work result was horrible. They came over twice to clean my carpets and the carpets looked completely untouched. It was strange because normally the carpets would have machine marks to show a rotator (this is a dry-service). I then used a wet towel to wipe some areas of the carpet and grim, gray dirt came out on the white towel. The folks there were super nice and tried to come out a third time but at that point I gave up and got another carpet service who came out and made the carpets look like new for far less than Citrus had already charged me. I am so pleased with the service from Vadym at Citrus Plus. He showed up on time and did a thorough job of cleaning the carpets in two rooms. The price was fair for the work and I have to say, although I liked the previous company I used (it appears they went out of business), I like Citrus Plus better. The carpet was lighter and brighter and was dry in two hours. He also left me a bottle of diluted citrus cleaner to do spot treatments on my carpet or upholstery, as needed. Just got the service done by Citrus Plus and I couldn't be more than happy about it. The carpet in my apt had a few blood stains and I called for multiple carpet cleaning service. Citrus Plus was very responsive and was able to sent the technician on the same day. Vadym, the technician arrived on time and was very friendly, initially he said he cannot promised me that the stains will be able to removed depends on how long the stains were there. I needed to get it cleaned and he said he will do his best to get rid of it. The process took about 2 hrs and the results were amazing!
