Anthony and Joaquin did a great job on my bathtub/shower area and on the settlement area in the kitchen. I am so happy with how the shower tiles look - shiny and brand new - I wish I'd gotten this done years ago. They removed the nasty old caulk and grout (chipped, missing, moldy, and black in many parts), deep cleaned the tiles and hardware, and then put in new grout and caulking. The shower looks GREAT! Five years ago, I got new kitchen counters and backsplash. Apparently the installers used grout where the backsplash meets the counter. Grout doesn't seal so it was separating and starting to mold. Anthony removed the grout and replaced it with caulking. It looks great and I no longer have to worry about water getting behind the backsplash and causing mold. Thien was responsive and polite. He came quickly and gave us a quote to re-do tubs, sinks, and countertop sealing (originally done poorly by a developer). He gave us advise about a couple tile areas that were spot mounted, which I appreciated. He sent a small team to work for the day. They were polite and worked hard, but the work they did was shockingly quality for professionals. 1) They rubbed siliconized caulk all over our kitchen countertop (presumably during cleaning), which then dried into a white crust that I couldn't remove even using a scrubbing pad (counters are black),. (see photo) 2) They flushed quite a bit of grout down the toilet (!!). We only knew this because we found the grout in the toilet bowl-- it was so much grout that it (luckily) would not flush. It was really hard to get out--who knows how much was flushed into our pipes and remains in some bend down there? (see photo) 3) The caulking work around tubs and sinks in general is big and sloppy--no painter's tape was used. 4) One shower stall was siliconed with black silicone (nothing in there is black and existing grout work is white). This made the thing look like it was covered in mildew. No painter's tape was used here either, and it was an absolute mess. (see photo) Thien sent the original guy back a couple times to try to make things better, but he wasn't able to. After I called to express my dissatisfaction, Thien sent a new guy back to clean the countertop. This guy seemed competent, and asked me why the previous work wasn't done using painter's tape to prevent the mess? I of course couldn't answer that question, as it was something I wondered, too. The new guy tried hard, and the counters looked black when he left, but after they dried, much of the white residue remains. He got maybe 70% off, which is just ok. I informed Thien, and he sent the guy out again. It's better now, but is worse than before the work started. On the positive side of the experience, we have a bathroom with an unstable floor. Thien said that the tiles would have to be pulled off, but agreed to give the grout work a try anyway. They put in the time trying to solve the problem (we paid for it). It didn't work out, but I appreciated the effort. Thien was polite and professional the whole time, but he there was never an explicit acknowledgment of the shoddy work from his crew. Even now I am not sure whether the company thinks that this quality of work is acceptable or not. I'm giving 2 stars and not 1, because Thien kept sending folks back out to try to solve the problem, but if it had been done cleanly to begin with, we could have avoided all of this. read more

I contacted Pro Grout via Yelp to clean, stain and seal the tiles floors in my kitchen and guest bathroom as replacing them is not an option right now. Hounded me for payment AFTER I already paid in full. (And not a trivial amount -- $1460 dollars). First of all, the work that the team did was excellent. They did beautiful job renewing the grout in two bathrooms and in the kitchen. I paid the workers the contracted amount immediately on completion of the work and was very pleased. Fast forward two months, I get several hounding texts from the manager, Thien Vuong, accusing of not paying my bill and owing him $1460. I had an extremely stressful exchange that required me to go through my bank records, pull up the check that had been cashed, and even then he didn't seem to believe me. He insisted I send a picture of the check, though by this point, I thought I was dealing with a scam artist so I felt uncomfortable sending a picture of a check that had my private bank information. I ended up sending a partial picture, showing the check but obscuring my private account information -- because this was so unprofessional, disorganized, and scammy that I was very uncomfortable. 10/10 would never hire again.
