I've bought almost all the tile for my bathrooms and fireplaces here. The second time we ordered at 6pm for store pick up on a Saturday but decided to go in and pick it up instead. DONT DO THAT. They make a BIG fuss. Just order for pick up and wait for your ready message or go in store to pick it up yourself and buy at the register. Anyway, apart from the lady in the black apron making a fuss, this experience was top tier. We knew exactly what we wanted and knew the store was closing soon so my husband got the flat bed cart thing and carried our one year old straight to the back corner with my son following behind him. They left me in the dust because I am heavily pregnant and was waddling. Every store employee we passed told me "we're closing soon" so when I saw my husband up ahead walk past a worker and the worker look back at him, turn course, and begin to follow my husband I thought "we better hurry up" this guy is going to tell us they're closing soon but nope! He was soo nice! Asked us if we had questions, helped my husband load our flat bed cart because we were getting twelve boxes of 12x36 tile, got a forklift to pull out the boxes in the back and walked us to where the grout that was in display is located. I believe his name is Luis! Thank you Luis for a wonderful experience. We're sincerely sorry if we got you in trouble. You didn't know we ordered ahead until we got to the register. If anything this man deserves a promotion! Top tier customer service! Also, we hurried to this location to get the tile we wanted because it was $30 cheaper per box than the location by our home! Thats why we always make the trip to this location. read more

Interesting experience today......not busy at all.... In fact I only saw maybe 3 customers....i went to look at vinyl flooring for a commercial building..... I found some but the chances of me finding anyone to help me was zero....lots of help doing nothing....wait, they were doing something on their phones....and there was a staff meeting I guess, about 5 of them were discussing something in a circle....they are great at ignoring customers.... I should have known better....same thing happened last year and I ended going somewhere else for my hardwood floor.... That sad part is they have a lot of options.....and I really wanted to buy or order.....but after going to the tile section (same thing happened there) I was exhausted.... What's really crazy is there are more people to help you at Home Depot???...... read more

I like this chain because they offer a little more options for flooring than your typical Lowe's/home depot does. Plus it's nice to see a lot of their inventory out in display, to make it easier to envision what it may look like in your home/business. Prices are pretty fair and I love seeing their clearance as well. This location also had a lot of staff everywhere and they were also willing to answer any questions it seemed from their appearance. read more

DO NOT give them your real phone number. They sell your number to all telemarketers. Made an appointment for hardwood floors & have been called & texted 100 times + from installers, tree trimers, roofers, gutters etc. for months now. Luckily phones have the ability to weed these calls out but still get tons of texts :( read more

Floor and Decor is your best friend for home remodeling. Shopping at here is a great experience - feels spacious, big selection, well organized & uncluttered, friendly staff that are eager to help. A hugely better experience compared to big box stores where it's hard to find help, aisles feel cluttered, and the process is tedious. We've been to this Burlingame location a bunch of times over the past couple years, taken and returned a bunch of samples, and purchased flooring and tile. Lots of affordable options and styles. Conveniently off 101 and efficient to shop here, which we are thankful for as remodeling is usually time-intensive. read more

Staffing knowledge on products they sell is horrible. The floor staff sent me to the pro counter to help me with my needs. The pro counter literally told me he had no clue what a floor vent cover was and said "there is know-one in the building right now that is any good with flooring". I told him that's embarrassing since the name for the place is Floor and decor. I guess I will take my remodel project elsewhere. read more

We reached a point where we had to redo our kitchen floor. Having not done this before, we asked around for recommendations and one of our friends recommended Floor & Decor. The store is easy to get to, has good parking, and has expansive inventory of many types of flooring. Thinking we wanted to replace tile with tile, we started there. But we quickly realized that for the kitchen LVP is the way to go. We met Lynn who helped us and was amazing. She helped us pick a few samples to bring home and try out. Once we selected the one we wanted, she helped us purchase the flooring. She was very helpful all through the process. We are super happy with our new floors and our experience at Floor & Decor. Highly recommend them. read more

I've had a great set of experiences at this store. It's quiet during the week, and the staff are most kind and willing to offer their suggestions and support. In particularly, Fernando helped me find specific tiles -- not an easy feat! And he came to my aid again, when I circled back for mosaics. This completely exceeded my expectations. read more

Will and especially Julie did their job and made me happy. Will initially helped me with the purchase of two kinds of tile. Unfortunately, one of the tiles wasn't checked and I had 8 out of 9 boxes of the wrong tile! My tilers had already started to install and I caught it by chance. Frantic mode! Will not in but Julie stepped in and rectified the situation. She cleared the way so I could return and exchange unused and used tiles for my 8 boxes of correct tiles..whew!!! Accommodating customer service so I would use them again. Great return policy and will match price of competitors if you find less expensive. read more

If you want to be able to shop in a huge warehouse with lots of choices and options and be able to physically see the product that you could buy this is a place for you. I am looking for bathroom tile and I went to a couple places which were more like showrooms without any real samples. Floor decor was really good and the guy that helped me was very informative and he kind of sold me on the place. I recommend this store. read more

Hello Everyone! I don't usually take time to do these reviews but I felt compelled to warn all of you against doing business with this establishment. Last year we bought hardwood floor from them for our Kitchen--A couple of weeks ago an Appliance Repair Guy scratched our floor and I wanted to see if we could repair the floor instead of changing the whole thing--I called Carlos there and he was very nice and said our floor was discontinued but he had a couple of boxes that we could come get them--He said that since our floor was a year old the boards might not match if that was the case he would return them for us--We went to the store and they loaded the boxes in my car. The boxes were very old and not in good shape and were slightly opened on the ends of the boxes--We unloaded them and waited for the contractor--When the contractor arrived of course he pulled one board out of each box to make sure there were no stains on the Maple Wood--Once they pulled these couple boards out it was discovered that they were severely damaged and the color of these the boards in these boxes were different than what I have on my floor--I immediately texted Carlos and he texted me to bring the 2 boxes back for a full refund--I still have the text message on my phone---He was very nice and said no problem. When I arrived at the store, the employee at the Counter was extremely rude and immediately started talking down to me as if I was a student in her classroom--I nicely explained the issue and showed her the text message from Carlos and she started talking to me down again and said well I am not taking them back! I was flabbergasted! I have never seen any retailer act like this! Home Depot, Lowe's, etc would never act like this--She brought our her Manager Quinn and she told him to back her up even though she was wrong and of course, that is exactly what he did---They made no attempt to resolve this or make me feel good as a customer who put my trust in them as a customer---Didn't even offer a store credit--Just kept lecturing me how he would lose money!!! Especially after I had spent thousands of dollars with them last year! On top of it! They kept the Merchandise and made no attempt to give it back to us before we left the store!! Now, it will have to go to the Credit Card as a dispute but can you guys believe all this for a lousy $300?? How petty they were/are! I will never go back to these guys and I wanted to give all of you a heads-up! read more

We ordered a piece of acoustic wood paneling to complete a bathroom remodel. There are of different product options to choose from here. In addition, the ordering process was easy - we ordered it online and received an email when it was ready. You notify them what time you will arrive - when you get there, they have several spots available for curbside pickup. You park in one and text the number listed that you've arrived and they will bring out your order shortly after. There were two guys that brought out our piece and they made sure that it fit well into our car before they went back in. read more

I am remodeling my bathroom and had visited many different stores and found this Floor and Decor the best of all. It has many selections of tiles and all the tools you need. The best of all is their service. Daemion Thornton is the Best! He is professional, knowledgeable, and takes his time to listen to your situation. He is excellent working with his customers with his problem-solving skills. He treats his customers with a great smile and he is very patient. Having someone like Daemion on your team makes your store stands out as a star. He deserves a raise and a promotion as he is a rock star and makes your customers like me who wants to keep returning to your store for his outstanding services! Thank you Daemion! read more

Remodeling is an interesting thing to go through. You have frustration; you have happiness. Things happen expectedly and unexpectedly... Floor tiles for one of the three bathrooms were disbursed to our contractor wrong so we informed our consultant, Hiba. By the way, Hiba is great, nice, polite, knowledgeable and has always been out there to be helpful. To resolve this unexpected situation, Gina, Hiba's supervisor, has been always attentive and diligently resolved the situation to our satisfaction. A happy customer we are! Thank you Hiba, Gina and all the store workers who receive us so professionally for every visit to your Burlingame store. read more

Gina Quan has been amazing from start to finish. This has been my first home remodel and she did a great job with introducing me to this fine craft. I took my auntie to this location based of reviews and recommendations. This show room location is huge and you can just look around at how to combine different tiles or stones to create a bathroom floor etc. we looked at their show room to get ideas, and then we went shopping for tiles... By the showroom there will be someone to help you calculate how much tiles you need when you are ready to shop after looking.. They are extremely helpful, and walking around the floor where all their different tiles are all laid out and various different sizes is amazing and their prices are quiet reasonable. When I remodel my bathroom, I know where to go get some big tiles if you don't want that much grout gap. read more

We added a brand new bathroom in our home and couldn't have done it without the help of Gina Quan (design service supervisor)! We were very fortunate to meet her at the store and she provided the best recommendations for free! She also gave us great help with new flooring options for our remodeled bedroom. Midway through the project we were concerned with the sizing and configuration of the tile that we purchased. She was able to help us sketch it out and I was able to provide a detailed plan to our tile guy. It was exactly what he needed to do the job right. So grateful for Gina Quan and her crew at Floor & Decor. We are so pleased with the result! read more

STELLAR experience in the showroom by Socrates and warehouse support from Angelo. These guys mean business. Top notch service.

There's a saleswoman who thinks she knows about tile installation and the code. She's spewing codes to customers which made no sense. She needs to stay in here Lane and shut her trap about codes that she knows nothing about. By the way, I'm a licensed contractor. read more

We were very pleased working with Floor and Decor. There is plenty of selection at the easy to shop warehouse and the prices are excellent. The entire process was seamless and easy. I had a great experience there, shopping for wall, floor, and shower tiles for a small bath remodel, which had been a little overwhelming for me. Tile selection was more than sufficient for me, great return policy, and the prices quite reasonable. Re the free design services, I had no expectations for any kind of help, but was lucky enough to get design assistance from the supervising designer there, Gina, who was open to meeting with me without an appointment, and spent a good amount of time with me even though my project was small. After getting details about the size of my bathroom and the color scheme, she walked with me around the warehouse and offered different suggestions for everything, and gave me quality input on color and pattern combinations, pros and cons in terms of durability, ease or difficulty of working with certain materials, and how the light, paint, and decorative elements factor in to bring a bathroom together. She has no interest in steering me to choose or buy anything in particular. Was just no nonsense, but down to earth and easy to talk to, listened carefully, knew what she was talking about, followed up promptly when I emailed later with questions. Just super helpful. After that visit, I left with a much better, more informed handle on how to make my selections, which is huge. You can buy small quantities of tiles to take home and try in your space, and then just return them, hassle free. I ultimately purchased from there and am pleased with my new bathroom and the whole experience. read more

Terrible service. Don't go there. Manager was rude and did not offer to help load up 12x24 tiles after he pulled out the order. He walked away after I refuse to allow him to copy my ID. It's an internet order. Checking my ID is fine but copying my ID number is not necessary. Ask the cashier to call for assistant to load up and was told they were all busy. It's not my first time shopping there but this is the first that this happened. Very unpleasant experience. read more

I bought some laminated wood from your store on 10/31/23. Had professionals installed them. Now some of the wood is buckling at the corner that is connected to the marble entrance which is created a big issue. I have waited on hold on your customer service number for 15 minutes with no availability, then called back and they saw the email so she couldn't help and someone will contact me... Their email stated they would contact me in 48 hours. It's been a week. So far, no customer service after the materials were bought. Not happy customer anymore. read more

I have placed three orders with this store since summer. I am extremely happy with the quality of the tile they have available. I have not been in the showroom as I always did curbside pickup. Ordering: the website is fairly easy to use for searching and you can order samples to be mailed to you and you get a credit when you order. I sometimes had issues getting the website to actually process my order though, so watch out for that and wait for the ready for pickup email. If you don't get that, call the store! Pickup: you park in a lot behind the warehouse and go into a room to let them know you are there. It is large with plexiglass between you and the staff and everyone wears a mask. They were great about me waiting outside and being inside as little as possible. With one order there was a massive mixup because the main system screwed up my order. I opted to wait and they came outside multiple times to keep me updated on what was going on. They got it all sorted out for me and after a long wait, loaded up my stuff. All staff are super nice and helpful and they had no problem loading my truck for me, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend checking out their products either in store or online via samples. read more

I see why this location has such great reviews, Socrates helped me while purchasing my large format porcelain tile. Since the box was open he gave me a 50% off discount on the two tiles I bought, what a steal! Usually the tile is $90/tile. He also gave me some tips on the type of saw I would need to cut this for my DIY project. One of the managers (I think his name started with a D) was really helpful as well! read more

The store has a great selection of tiles and that's where it ends. We are remodeling our bathroom and we noticed when unboxing that they gave us 9 boxes of the wrong tiles when we did curbside pick up. I called the store at 6:30pm and they said it would be no problem and to just head back to the store and they'd switch it out. I told them we're 15 minutes away and they said it wouldn't be a problem over the phone. We got there at 6:45. We saw one of their associates Douglas L. standing there and asked for assistance. He could not be bothered, he asked us where our tiles were and we said in the car and if someone could help us, he said nobody could help us and that they were closing. So my husband went to the car and loaded it himself. Meanwhile, people were literally still shopping. I asked if he could help me find the correct tiles, and he walked away from me and started helping another associate lift tiles. I literally couldn't believe this so I told him "just to be clear, you're walking away and are not going to help us in any way" He said "ya we're really busy and we close in 10 minutes, you would just keep us here longer" , his other associate heard the whole thing and began to help us, he put down the tiles he was currently working on, found us the correct tiles and loaded it on a cart and switched it out for us which took less than 5 minutes. Douglas L. had the worse customer service we've ever experienced. read more

Just wanted to leave a quick note saying what a great experience we had with Lyn as our design consultant. We are on our second remodel and the first time around we never used the design service. This last time we both made trips and could not find what we needed. Lyn called to schedule us, sent me links to what she proposed and then walked us through everything we asked for. She nailed it. We were in and out in 45m with all our boxes checked. Could not be happier. read more

We came here to check out their large format porcelain tiles. What a wide selection on display! The place is huge, stocked to the brim with everything you'd need to cover your floors or your bathroom walls. What was really on display was the excellent customer service. At one time we had 4 employees helping us moving displays, researching stock, checking other stores for their stock, special ordering tiles, and making special shipping arrangements. Both Felix and Michael were knowledgeable, informative, willing to go the extra mile to help us, kudos and gratitude from us to you and your team. I'll update my review as we wait for our shipment and receive the merchandise. So far excellent customer service. read more

Huge almost warehouse-like feel of everything you'd want to see in just as its name says, "floors and decor." They also have a huge selection of slabs and tile, cabinetry, etc. We ended up not committing to buying anything from here because the porcelain is such a turn off, it looks artificial and plastic-ey, and though the patterns and colors are gorgeous, the look of it is too fake. This place requires lots of walking and meandering around, and they don't have one of those carts you can ride around in, and if they do, I didn't see it. If you get lucky, which we did, they do have folks to help you out and inquire about whether you have questions, as a guy asked us--and he gave us a mini tutorial on manufactured wood. If you think a Home Depot type of place, you'll get the picture. They have tons of free parking on site, it's facing blustery bay in Burlingame and worth the drive out for a huge selection of stuff. read more

Gave them a lot of business for our home remodeling project and they do not respect their customers. Their system malfunctioned causing them to close sooner without any updates online. We came from Sunnyvale at 5 pm and they were passing remarks when we just asked them to use the restroom. Never coming back to this . I purchased several tiles from Floor & Decor and have been very happy each time. The selection is large and ranges from affordable to expensive (mostly affordable). I like the different patterns on display; they give you an idea of how the individual pieces come together. Every staff member we have worked with has been friendly and helpful, and I don't think they are even commission based. Best of all, you can return any unused pieces, which is not offered at many other places. I wish every other aspect of home renovation is as easy as tile procurement at Floor & Decor... read more

Let me start off by saying that that I never intended to install my own floors. After interviewing 6 different flooring contractors and specialists, no one had as much knowledge as Thomas at floor and decor. After lots of youtube and talking with many sub par contractors (a couple good ones who weren't available) I realized many of them really don't have my best interest in mind. I learned that I had a below grade concrete floor, meaning I would need a moisture barrier under my underlayment to protect the flooring from moisture that seeps up through the concrete. Non of the other contractors warned me about this, Except Thomas from floor an decor. After doing all my research on the floors I finally got them in and figured baseboards are the last easy part. Then I got to floor and decor and talked to Thomas who told me that baseboards are the hardest part of flooring. Boy was I in over my head. I won't go into details but thomas went above and beyond to help me solve my problem and now I have the most beautiful baseboards. Aside from thomas, the store itself is amazing and light-years ahead of places like lumber liquidators. The flooring quality is better, they have better brands, more options for your budget and insanely good service. Honestly I'm usually a guy that always looks for the best deals for high quality, not cheap big box stuff. I was totally thinking floor and decor would just be another ripoff cheap warehouse store. I was wrong. They're like the target of floors. Thanks Thomas for all the help! I literally couldn't have done it without you! read more

Thomas help us when we came in for kitchen flooring. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and pleasant about giving us info on doing the work by ourselves. Help us look for the right colors for certain items. The only thing was that he went to lunch and we don't know if they get commission or not. So another person helped us get out item and the sale went in his name instead of Thomas. It was almost 1k worth of items and I think Thomas should be getting the commission instead of Rod if we had know they use their name when they pull the items. But go to Thomas when you're there. He's very helpful and can give you a ton of advice. Thanks Thomas! read more
