A very knowledgeable friend recommended I contact Alfonso for assistance selecting tile and countertops for my bathroom, kitchen and entryway and I am very glad I did. I came in with the vaguest of ideas of what I liked and was looking for for my space and in my consultations with him (I needed a second consultation after a design change) Alfonso was so skilled at finding a variety of options to consider without overwhelm! The showroom is like an art gallery where you can touch the art and a sensory treat to roam through. The large attached warehouse area with a huge number of countertop materials was very impressive to behold. But again Alfonso could quickly edit it for me to a few choices. We have four bathrooms under renovation and we need quite a lot of tiles but none of the tiles has price on them. Which means you have to ask them every single one that you are interested in. No one wants to talk to you. We were there wondering around and looking for tiles for 10 mins and people who work there walking back and forth with their nose on the air. Didn't even border to help. I am leaving a 1-star review as a result of a disappointing recent experience with quartzite slabs purchased from All Natural Stone. The primary reaso2 I selected quartzite for my kitchen project was its reputation as a durable, low-porosity natural stone that performs well in a kitchen environment. After purchasing the slabs and having them fabricated by an experienced stone fabricator, I was informed that he had never encountered quartzite this porous in his 30+ years of working with the product. The excessive porosity raises serious concerns about the suitability of the material for its intended use and has left me questioning whether there may be an issue with the original sealant, processing and/or manufacturing of the slabs. When I brought these concerns to All Natural Stone, the only response I received was to apply a sealant and that everything would be fine. Unfortunately, this does not address the underlying issue or provide confidence that the product I purchased meets the quality and performance expectations associated with quartzite. What has been even more frustrating is the lack of communication from management. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manager of the slab department by phone and email, I have received no response. For a company of this caliber, I expected a much higher level of customer service and accountability. As a result, I can only leave a 1-star review. My concerns regarding the quality of the quartzite slabs remain unresolved, and the lack of follow-up or meaningful assistance has been extremely disappointing. read more

I was browsing through the stone slab section and suddenly all the lights turned off. I was with my 4 year old daughter in complete darkness around HEAVY slabs. No one checked to see if we were inside or notified us that the store was closing. When we finally made our way out of the complete darkness I asked the girl who was working at the front desk what time they close and she said 3:30. It was 3:30pm right when I had asked. I told her the lights were shut off and we were left in darkness and she laughed it off. Another male employee who I believe is the one who turned off the lights was also laughing. He has a lot of designer experience and was very helpful in picking out a style that would work well in our kitchen. He was very prompt with returning my phone calls and emails. I really wanted to love All Natural Stone, but my experience was a nightmare. If you're thinking of buying from them, be very careful; they hide critical product information and don't take responsibility when things go wrong. I bought tile from in 2024, specifically for a children's bathroom. The salesperson assured me it was a great fit for a wet environment. What they never told me was that the tile was ceramic: very fragile, porous, and totally unsuitable for wet areas. There were no specs, no installation recommendations, and no mention of the manufacturer. Just their private label, making it impossible to research before making a purchase. It wasn't until the tile started chipping badly during installation that I realized something was off. At that point the tile was installed and had multiple chips all over the place. I finally found the manufacturer's name on the box and looked up the specs myself (note that it wasn't ANS that manufactured the tile, but Spanish company). Sure enough, it specifically said that it wasn't advised for wet areas. To make matters worse, the QR code on their store display was broken, the website had no mention of tile composition, and technical spec had only N/A noted on it, so even if I had tried to check, I wouldn't have been able to. When I brought this to their attention, they refused to take responsibility. First, they only offered to replace the defective tile with more of the same defective tile (?!). After multiple back-and-forths, they offered a 50% refund, even though their lack of disclosure caused me financial loss, delays, and extra construction costs. This place is not upfront about their products and will leave you stuck with expensive mistakes if you're not careful. If you're buying tile from them, demand full product details IN WRITING before handing over a dime. Otherwise, you might find yourself in the same frustrating (and costly) situation I did. Bottom line: Shady sales tactics, no accountability, and misleading product info. Buyer beware. read more

Aveli is so professional, kind and responsive that I now consider her a dear friend. We had an issue with our stone backsplash staining when we first used it (right before the holidays) and Aveli came over with the owner Juan. We were floored at the level of customer service. Juan personally treated the stains and worked directly with the fabricator to reseal everything. Everything turned out good as new. GARY is the rockstar at this place. We came here not once, not twice, but three or four times to get two bathroom tiles, marble, kitchen countertop quartzite slab plus patio tile and wainscoting ... all of which required multiple visits. I'm not the easiest person to work with--super strong opinions and unapologetic about them, vocal about them ... I've been told I need my own country to run, lol! Gary offered to help us out on our first visit and he's exceptional in that he's so damn proactive, super engaged and attentive, as if it's his own place he's designing. He's not ever phoning it in and I adored that about him! I honestly don't think we could've done the job we did without his input and guidance. He knocked it out of the park. Every single visit, I changed my mind about something! And he rolled with it, endlessly without limits patient and amenable, super friendly and on the ball with all of it. He'd walk around the dizzying endless store, and show us infinite options, and what we really loved about him is his honesty about the properties of each material, e.g. honed marble versus polished and its appropriateness for shower, the application of semi-precious materials for functionality. I cannot rave enough about Gary ... the shop itself is awesome for their vast choices but without Gary steering us each and every time, we would've been adrift. Today, we'd made and appointment in the morning and didn't leave till afternoon, after which the awesome sense of accomplishment and completion we felt was palpable, so freaking relieved we were! It's so refreshing to see someone be so genuinely into their work. We embarked on a whole house renovation/addition that involved our kitchen, fireplace, 3.5 baths and a laundry room. I have a neutral palette preference and had a vision for what I wanted for our house. Brigette spent HOURS (through multiple appts) with me to pull our looks together. She listened to everything I shared and in many cases was spot on with her suggestions. She never pushed anything on me and was so receptive to feedback and my cues. OMG. Terrible customer service! Sent them emails, never got a reply. I was hoping to get some tile quotes for my kitchen but they didn't seem interested in doing business with me. We were doing renovations in our house in Millbrae and we were mostly ordering from Floor and Decor when I chanced upon some beautiful unique mosaic tiles. Admittedly I love their design and wanted to buy some for our bathroom and kitchen. But alas! There was no one to help. To think that their tiles and stones are costly, you would presume that they offer good customer service but no! It seemed like there were only 2 agents. One was out of town and the other was Faris who never replied to emails and unapproachable when you go directly to the store. It's been very disappointing dealing with him. He seemed very arrogant and proud. So Tez Marble was it and Floor and Decor. They are the best bet for great help and knowledge with what they sell. This company has very bad customer service. I visited the store three times. I bought three slab on my first visit and everything went through smoothly. I requested for tile samples and price quotes but never receive them. Two weeks went by and decided to reached out to my Sales Rep but no reply. Then I went to the showroom again, the Rep said he will email the quote to me. Another two weeks went by again and still nothing. I texted the Rep again but he didn't reply. So I decided to go visit the store one last time. My Rep was able to locate some of the samples that I had requested after spending two hours in the showroom. As of today, I am still waiting for my quote after six weeks. I gave up and will not shop at All Natural Stone in the future. The quartz slabs I'd purchased elsewhere ended up being flawed. (I had a minimum amount of time to select material for a new kitchen countertop. I had wanted quartz, and it took a long time to find one that wasn't white and didn't look like formica.) We were on a deadline and I had to move fast. Fortunately, the installer told me about All Natural Stone. He met me there and introduced me to Tony. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It was 95 degrees that day, and I'd driven 20 minutes without AC on the freeway. I was still ticked that the first store had failed me so badly (still trying to get the refund!). I was grumpy and felt resigned to "just picking something, even if it's granite." Tony was so patient. He walked me through their huge storeroom, educating me on the choices and correcting some misinformation I'd been carrying around. Nope. Nope. Nope. Things were looking grim. (Our cabinet and floor colors limited the choices, so I wasn't being entirely overly picky.) Then Tony led us outside. Man, it was HOT out there on that asphalt. I couldn't see much of the design because they were all stacked on their sides. But Tony identified 2-3 that he thought would meet my requirements. Then he had the guy on the heavy-moving machine pull them out so I could see them in the light. Tony was very patient and helpful with a grumpy customer on a HOT day. I'm going to share my review based on calling the store. I have not yet gone inside the store but the bad service over the phone will probably make it impossible to force myself to do it just to find the one tile that I was told this store carried. The first time I called they took my number and said they would call back....crickets...crickets. The second (and final time) I called, was a bit more assertive with I need this please, they took my number...and then again..crickets....crickets. I call again, they reluctantly say oh yes we don't have it. I asked for another type of tile and again, no answer. Bottom line. Worst Customer service experience HERE. I don't know who "helped" me, it was a woman's voice. That's all I know. I think I'll head to Floor and Decor around the corner. read more

I enjoy home renovations about as much as a concrete colonic. They share multiple similarities: when it's all said and done, they cost much more than one expects (removing hardened concrete from the rectum is no trivial feat); the process seems never ending and takes much longer than expected (again, concrete...); and they each involve a profound mess. One nontrivial difference is renovations lead to something spectacular (if you have a good contractor, which we did), while concrete colonics result in nothing but suffering and often death (which is also possible for renovations, in particular if you have a bad contractor). You're probably wondering, "How the h**l does this relate to All Natural Stone?" That's a very reasonable question, so please allow me to illuminate my point. Renovations are not fun, so finding peace of mind wherever possible is a necessity. All Natural Stone helped with this. Our relationship started during the search for a perfect slab of soapstone for our kitchen counter. This was an epic journey, since a good piece of soapstone is apparently more challenging to site than a Kashmir musk deer. After contacting several vendors, including the All Natural Stone branch in San Jose (less favorable review was written for that branch), we finally found a beautiful piece in Burlingame. We also found gorgeous marble backsplash and idyllic tiles that resemble slate without the maintenance issues. The staff at All Natural Stone were generally extremely helpful during this process, although we didn't need too much assistance with the stone/tile selection. A substantial discount on the supplies was obtained through our contractor. (Make sure to get a discount, as it will save you a considerable sum!) As our renovation further snowballed (it was really more of an avalanche), we needed additional stone to conceal our ghastly raised concrete foundation, and to cover our plebeian and tilting concrete and brick front steps. Here we required more assistance to find the appropriate match, and the team at this location for the most part did a nice job of bringing things together and doing so in a manner that was consistent with our tight timeline (with some pushing, see below). We ended up with beautiful grey foundation stone and black slate pavers for the front steps, which really brought the house together. During the second round of purchases they provided the discount without the contractor being directly involved. So why not five stars? Allow me to elaborate: 1. Follow-up was a problem. We often needed to call several times or even stop in to confirm that things were moving along as planned. Promised follow-up calls from All Natural Stone frequently did not occur (we had to keep on top of them, as is commonplace during renovations). 2. They charge a substantial freight fee, which I feel should be covered when one is ordering thousands of dollars worth of stone. 3. When one has started an order with a particular salesperson, it can be challenging to speak with them in person without an appointment. This can be an issue when dealing with urgent business (see #1 above). From the images, you can see that the house has turned out beautifully (unlike most concrete colonics, pictures not included), thanks to our amazing contractor. All Natural Stone was also a key asset in making this possible, although they did require some monitoring by my wife and me to ensure timelines where met. That said, overall I'd have no hesitation in referring family and friends to this establishment. read more

I don't think I've ever had a worse experience purchasing something than working with All Natural Stone. When they say they will call you back, they won't. First issue, I was buying tile for a fireplace and marble for the hearth. I purchased the tile, they were supposed to call and let me know the price of the marble I had selected (a specific slab). That call never came. I purchased my marble elsewhere with no issues and received it promptly. They were happy to let me spend 75% of the budget at another supplier. Good call! Next up, my order was supposed to be prepped in 5 - 7 days. They said the manufacturer may not make that so we planned for 3 weeks. It's now been 8 weeks and I've had to call 4 times for an update. Each time, they said they'd call back and only did after the 3rd call when I was clearly upset. At this time, they said it would be a week. It's now been 10 days, did anyone call me to give me an update? Nope, call #4 was placed today. I recommend shopping anywhere else. read more

I bought a porcelain slab from All Natural Stone after going through a few other stone slab and tile stores. The reason I opted for All Natural Stone was because of the service I got there. Donna was my sales person and she spent as much time as I needed (a lot) to become knowledgeable about various types of stone and tile and the pros and cons of each one. She went way above and beyond what a normal sales pro would do because I was so uninformed and anxious about what kind & color of stone & what kind, color, type and shape of tile I wanted. I changed my mind several times after I had selected something because there are literally many hundreds of choices. Donna took it all in stride. With her great skill at listening and interpreting what I seemed to want she narrowed down the choices . She was able to use her design skills to guide me in selecting tile and counters that complemented each other but did not match. I wasn't looking for a gray & white or monochromatic kitchen which are now popular. I ended up with porcelain kitchen counters and a glass subway tile backsplash that reflected my desire to have a classic design with a modern twist. I love it & my husband credits Donna for making me happy which, in turn, makes his life with me much easier, happier and almost stressless. These guys f*cked up my order big time. I placed an order of Estatuario Marble for almost $3k for a small bath. The salesman told me that this was the best choice for mostly white tiles with cool tones which I wanted for my bathroom. At delivery, I received 2 boxes filled with tiles that were poor quality, inconsistent lots from 4 more more from different lots. This is what I found in only a small batch of tile: 1) Majority of the tiles had dark non-translucent grey streaks in the veining. Grey covered almost 50% of the tile. Large dark ugly streaks. 2) Several tiles had large splotches of orange that looked like old limestone bath stains 3) 2 boxes had tiles varying in color from white, grey, or yellowish. Side by side they were clearly not from the same lot. 4) Several chipped, broken tiles I was expecting "some" variation, but this was unacceptable as it seemed like the last box of all their dregs. When I called they told me that there was no more stock which further confirmed my theory. I cannot recommend this place. read more

It was a very lucky day when we went to All Natural Stone in Burlingame. When we first went in we weren't sure what we wanted and exactly how to proceed with our project. We met Dave and his help, knowledge, expertise and patience thru this processes has been admirable, and we are so thankful we had the good fortune to work with him. He helped us choose two gorgeous slabs of quartzite that we are thrilled with, and are enjoying in both our kitchen and bathroom. He also directed us to great tile choices when shopping for the backsplash. He listened, advised, and made what felt like an overwhelming project go smoothly.
