Juan and his crew are just tremendous. I buy all my Schluter products here. A quick phone call and everything is ready to pick up. Competitive prices and great customer service. Highly recommended! read more

I had to replace all the tile in a bathroom after a toilet leaked. They have a good selection and were easy to work with. I found an Italian tile that works well. It was a bit on the expensive side, but partly it's due to the tariffs now imposed on imports. They have a range of prices. read more

I recently was in the market for some tiles after I had a bathroom leak situation. It was not an easy task since it wasn't a complete renovation, so needed to match the existing tiles as much as possible and didn't need tons of tiles. I went to several stores including where I originally purchased my tiles, but they were absolutely useless. For example, instead of just telling me the original tiles have been discontinued, they could have told me some alternatives that would be a close match. Instead, they simply said sorry and that was it. So when I stopped by A3 and met Juan, I was surprised to find someone who was willing to help and actually problem solve with me. Especially when it would not be for a large order. During my years of shopping for finishes I've never experienced someone as nice and helpful as Juan. Their selection may be not be as extensive as places like Floor and Decor, but here you'll actually find someone to help you. I highly recommend A3 for any tile needs, and look for Juan when you come! read more

Great products and very knowledgeable staff. They keep busy for a reason! Alejandra helped us pick tile for two different shower enclosures. We're very happy with their products and selection. Many tile options are available to see in their many display rooms. read more

We needed to redo our shower floor from marble tile (don't ever use porous tiles on shower floor!) to porcelain tile. A3 Tile has the best selection of high quality porcelain and stone tiles among all the shops that we had been to in the Bay Area, and we eventually selected a 3D Italian tile to be custom-cut to our preferred dimensions. Phil was extremely helpful and diligent in following up on the arrival of the tiles and the custom cutting, as well as helping with a last-minute tile shortage issue due to my miscalculation. We cannot be happier with the whole process and the fine workmanship of the tiles. Highly recommend A3 Tile! read more

We have used A3 a few times for our home projects and each time we have been very happy. They have a great selection of tiles, but even above their product quality, their customer support is A1! Alejandra is incredibly helpful and always puts the customer first. She really cares and that makes a huge difference. We will definitely use A3 again! read more

Jay and his team provided top quality products as well as outstanding customer service and support for my bathroom remodel project. Great, affordable prices along with a huge selection! It got a bit overwhelming in the beginning however Jay was patient, honest, highly professional, and offered great, detailed insight in helping me choose the right tiles to fit my modern aesthetic vision. I ended up purchasing marble tile for the wall, chevron decorative tile, along with gold Schluter trim. Jay helped me choose the decorative tile. He also had the PERFECT color of brushed gold trim that matched exactly what I was looking for. He also recommend a beautiful gray floor tile that helped to tie everything together, as well as the grout colors for all the shower and floor tiles. So many details and so many decisions to consider, but again, Jay's patience and professionalism made the whole process less daunting and overwhelming. The products arrived very quickly and I was notified promptly. Highly recommend to anyone who wants quality products at affordable prices with impeccable customer service, guidance, and insight. We continue to get many compliments on our bathroom, and Jay is a big reason for that. We will be back in a few months to renovate our second bathroom! read more

This place gives top notch customer service. I am impressed. I went to 7 tile places in total looking for the perfect tiles for our bathrooms. We were greeted by Juan, and he helped us narrow down the options pretty quickly with a description of what I was looking for. We were looking for 3 different bathroom tiles for showers + a floor that we loved. We found them ALL HERE. One stop shop. It was fantastic. When it came to payment and delivery, the whole process was smooth and easy. They delivered tile that was shipping from across the country earlier than expected. I REALLY APPRECIATE Juan being able to communicate via text. It's amazing to not have to get on the phone for every small thing. We had a couple tiles damaged in transit and they were replaced quickly and efficiently. We ended up needing a second round of large size tile because of matching patterns and again, he and his team got them QUICK. This is especially awesome considering this shortage was holding up our project. I'm just overall impressed. Throughout our remodel, this was one of the smoothest transactions I've had. Fantastic customer service. If you need tile, you need to come here. Skip the rest, A3 tile is the best! read more

Phil and his team were very helpful. When some of our pieces broke on transit he assisted us with getting replacements. They have a large variety. I will definitely go there for any of our future needs. read more

This is a review for my parents that purchased from A3 Tile and worked with Store Owner Jay. Purchase was for two bathroom remodels and kitchen countertop. They had an excellent and seamless experience from start to finish. Jay and A3 have been in the business since the early 2000s possibly longer, so they know what they're doing. Pricing was great compared to the surrounding areas, and they'll be willing to work with you and your budget. Customer service was excellent and very personable. You won't get this type of service, pricing, and expertise at mainstream tile companies or department style home improvement stores. If you want that custom, high end product and look without the big budget you got to check these guys out. read more

A3 Tile helped me every step of the way to select and purchase tile for my bathroom remodel. I wanted a tile that had a small hexagon shape for shower and a larger hexagon shape for floor. I was able to browse in their showroom without being questioned about who my designer was. They were very helpful when I had questions. I had to borrow samples to see the tile at home. The ordering process was easy and they helped me with grout colors. My contractor did a horrible job of installing the floor tile and the heating system. We found a great tile installer to redo the floor and heating system and A3 was great. They are also experts on the heated floor system. read more

I just started looking for tiles for my first remodel project ever, and was fortunate enough to have Jay assist me. A3 Tile has an extensive selection of tiles to select from. Jay was super patient and helpful, answered all my questions on pricing, wrote out the names/descriptions of all the selections that I was interested in on his card, and even provided me with free samples of one of the tiles designs. read more

Just redid our bathroom and purchased tile-grout from A-3. Phil great help in working us through the options and remained patient and helpful as we took sometime and several trips to see him - as our ideas changed and rechanged. Finally made decision that we love. Couldn't have made as good a choice without Phil's help. Later on we needed extra tiles and once again Phil help order in the most cost effective manner. Highly recommend A-3 read more

Totally awesome shop. Great selection, help and advice. We had to remodel our bathroom. Had to do a complete tear out. They gave us great advice and we were able to pretty much get everything there, like a one stop shop. When we remodel our other bathroom and kitchen we will be coming back here for sure. We've recommended them to quite a few people already. Thanks for everything. You guys are the best!!! read more

What a huge waste of my time and energy. This store is very small, crowded, messy and disorganized. I was interested in looking at their quartz countertop materials but they don't have many options and then have some of their samples mixed in with the granite samples. Very poorly run with salespeople who are not very helpful. . All I can say about A3 Tile is "do not waste your time." read more

Great customer service and patience from Jay. Was helpful in helping my family select the best match tile. Large selection of tile, colors and styles. Recommend this store to family and friends! read more

Phil was amazing! I had a difficult tile that I was having trouble finding. To make things worse, I did not have a sample of the tile, only a photo. I reached out to A3 Tile and although they didn't carry the tile I needed, they were able to identify the tile. Phil reached out to me a few days later and told me that he found the tile for me and gave me the name of the store where I could find it. I can't thank them enough for all their help and above bar customer service. I will definitely keep A3 Tile in mind for any of my future projects. Thanks again Phil! read more

They have a great selection of tiles, all of which are high quality. You can find a variety of tiles that you can't find in other stores! Their prices are very reasonable and the gentlemen there are very approachable and easy to work with. A great find:) read more

As DYI homeowner I have decided to cover my outdoor patio (22" x 11") with "wood-like" tiles. Unlike the usual brick-n-mortar stores (Home Depot, Lowes) in a small shop like A3 you have staff that will help you with selection and ordering custom parts (in my case, I wanted to have edge protection for the steps). Ordering was easy and the delivery was done on the promised date. The tile selection is quite good. Phil was quite helpful recommending the cleaning solution that I had to do after the project was over (there was some thinset residue left on the pavers that needed to be cleaned up) read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I WOULD! Absolutely the most atrocious customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered grout which was to be available the next day. When I came to pick it up, it was the wrong grout. Seeing as this was an urgent matter, I asked to have the correct one rushed. No, I was told it would take a day. OK, where is it coming from? San Jose, I'm told. (30 min drive not 24 hours!!) Given the fact that this was urgent, I said I will go pick it up, and the drive wont' take a day!! Instead of agreeing, the guy just gave me a refund. I repeatedly said, this is urgent....I do not want a refund I want to just pick up. Apparently he didn't like my attitude and decided it would be best to simply screw me over. To make matters worse, he said that he would let me go get it, if I ADMITTED MY MISTAKE!! umm WTF? If you want quality customer service, this is not the place for you! I have no idea what the prices are on tile, but I can guarantee that customer service is one thing you will not get. You probably won't even get the tile you order!! read more

Called A3 Tile in search of some Shluter products (waterproofing for showers). This product is super expensive so I called around getting a couple dealer quotes. Jessica Bracamonte, the sales rep at A3 I spoke with, was very professional, and quick to provide me a quote by email. She tried to get the price down to beat a competitor and she did a diligent job. Jessica came close to matching the other competitor (just a couple dollars more), however, I chose to go with the other dealer simply because it was closer to me. Even after I told Jessica I wouldn't be able to buy from A3 she was still positive and offered to help me if I needed anything else. Overall, I thought the customer service was prompt and professional. Good Job! read more

We had checked around a bit, and found what we wanted here. Good products. Salesman Phil met with us twice and patiently explained options. The showroom is safely set up to protect the staff and customers during the pandemic. There was some initial misunderstanding on price, but Phil worked it out. Many thanks! Phil worked with the contractors who are doing the installation and expedited shipment of the tiles from Florida. We recommend A3 Tile. read more

First time customer here at A3 tile. I usually go to another tile shop very close by but decided to try this shop on a recommendation. I initially worked with Jessica, who was extremely helpful and friendly. She showed me many different samples and gave me great ideas as well. I did not feel rushed at all and she answered all my questions thoroughly. I took a tile board home to try (upon her suggestion) and so glad I did! I ended up choosing a tile color that I did not originally have in mind but that looked better in my foyer given its particular lighting. A few days later when I went back to purchase the tile, Juan? (Store manager) helped me out and he also was extremely helpful and friendly. The selection and pricing at A3 is excellent and I would not hesitate to return here for my next tile project. Note: before I actually purchased the tile at A3, I did go back to my original tile store and saw the same tile for a similar price. However, because the salesgirl was such a dud and so uninterested, my decision to purchase from A3 was made easy! Customer service is so important... read more

Cannot imagine a better tile shopping experience. We told Phil that we were looking for tile to work with our original 1941 terracotta tile and he showed us several different options explaining the pros and cons of each. A3 Tile is great! I called over the phone to see if they have a specific tile I used 5-6 years ago which I bought from a different place. I don't have tile name or brand, but Phil went out of his way to lookup where this tile is from. I emailed him a picture of tile and he got back to me the next day with information. disorganized products, indifferent staff. There were at least 4 people working when I stopped by. I was in the shop for 30 minutes. No one greeted me. Finally I approached one of them to ask my questions. Answers were curt. No follow up questions like "where do you plan to use this tile" etc? Someone was washing dirty dishes in the shop. I could smell the food odor. Tiles piled on the floor. You have to bend down to get a good look. They didn't want my business and I am not giving them any. read more

They have a good selection if nice, quality tiles here at decent prices. I bought my bathtub wall tiles here (Porcelonosa - Deco Nacare Blanco) and am extremely happy with them. The best part is that they were having a 30% off sale! I dealt mostly with Jay, he was great. This is the first place I've been to where they let you take home tile samples! That was a definite plus. Juan is also extremely helpful. Their warehouse is located in San Jose, I think, and if what you order is in stock, you can get it in 2 days or so. Jay called the minute my tiles arrived to let me know they were ready for pick up. My only gripe was that when I went to pick up my order, the warehouse delivered the wrong tiles and I had to drive back to SF empty handed. Other than that, I had a very satisfying experience with my order and the staff here. Great service and selection! read more

Bought some tile here that I had originally seen at Bullnose Tile in San Jose - the manager at A3 beat their closeout price. I think this is great place to look for trim tile because of the variety they offer, and also important, there is no minimum amount that they require you to order. They also carry Laticrete grout. I didn't inquire about the colors they keep on hand, but I do know that Lowe's carries this brand but has very limited colors in stock. read more

My husband and I bought tile here to remodel our bathroom. The manager Juan spent a long time with us helping us to pick out quarter-round that would go with our favorite tile--in fact, he even contacted the tile manufacturer several times to help us find the perfect match. I was also impressed with their tile selection and competitive prices--we shopped a couple of places and A3 had the highest quality stuff for the most reasonable price. read more

They have quality products but check the pricing, grout is twice the price of anywhere else, purchased two shower shelves regular price was $44 when I returned them they tried to refund only $32 Jaun said that was my fault for not having the original receipt when the price is clearly listed on the wall Seems to me Jaun is very helpful for large purchases only...doesn't have the time of day for smaller things I can find better service and honest people Elsewhere read more
