This is a mixed review because some things about working with Gilman were great and some things…read morehave been difficult to resolve. Cheri is a great kitchen designer, and did a really nice job laying out the kitchen for us. However, the cabinet maker she recommended, Dura Supreme, has been an absolute nightmare. Cheri told us once the order date is set, we could expect the cabinets to be delivered as promised. Dura Supreme was a week late in delivering the bulk of our order, which upset the installation schedule we had planned. Even worse, pieces were missing from the order which took months to receive. For some reason, the corner cabinet doors were missing and it took months for them to come in. Also, without our approval, the manufacturer changed something marked as a single cabinet door on the plans to two smaller double doors, which is not nearly as nice as the single door and required purchasing an additional door handle. We could have had them remake this as a single door, but the manufacturer is so slow an nonresponsive to getting things done that we thought that would never happen, so we just kept what we had. Also, we needed one extra piece for the top corner cabinet that for some reason has been impossible for Dura Supreme to get right. We are now on the 4th version of them sending the piece. The prior attempts were either made with the wrong edging or were the wrong size. I don't understand why this is so difficult--isn't this what they do for a living? While I would recommend Gilmans and Cheri to others looking for kitchen cabinets, I would tell you DO NOT UNDER ANY CONDITION BUY DURA SUPREME CABINETS. The cabinets were delivered and installed in March. It's now August--5 months later--and we still don't have this resolved. Caveat emptor!

Dream Outdoor Barbecue Island Thanks to Plamar USA…read more We recently had Plamar USA install countertops for our outdoor barbecue area, and the results were absolutely amazing. From start to finish, their team was incredibly helpful, professional, and detail-oriented. This is the third job they have done for family and we are happy every time. The installers were not only skilled but also very personable--more like partners in the project than just workers. They took the time to understand what we wanted and made sure every detail was perfect. Their craftsmanship and experience really showed in the flawless finish and the way everything came together seamlessly. What impressed us most was their dedication to making our vision a reality. They were accommodating, patient, and truly committed to delivering a high-quality result. Thanks to their hard work, our barbecue island has become the dream space we've always wanted, and it's something our family will enjoy for many years to come. This was the third project they have completed for us, and they continue to deliver outstanding craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service every single time. For this remodel, they fabricated and installed beautiful countertops throughout our home, including our kitchen and multiple bathrooms. The quality of their work is exceptional. Every seam, edge, and finish is flawless, and the attention to detail is second to none. The finished product completely transformed our home. A special thank you goes to Aldrin, who is absolutely incredible. He is committed to making sure every project is completed perfectly and on time, no matter what it takes. During our remodel, at the last minute we added the powder room we needed within 48 hours. Even though they were already extremely busy, Aldrin immediately found time to fabricate the countertop and found someone to remove the old countertop without breaking the existing wall to wall mirror, and install the new countertop so our project stayed on schedule. That kind of responsiveness, problem-solving, and dedication is incredibly rare. They consistently put their customers first. Their pricing is very reasonable, they communicate exceptionally well, they show up when they say they will, and they consistently deliver exactly what they promise. After three projects together, they have earned our complete confidence and trust. If you're looking for beautiful countertops and a company that truly stands behind its work, Plamar Fabrication is the team to call. They never disappoint, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. The high standard that Aldrin and his team have set make it impossible to consider someone else.

We're thrilled Cabinet World USA is still around and that they are still an Omega distributor. Kudos to Cabinet World USA and Omega for standing behind their products. For some context, over the last 11 years, our cabinets have held up beautifully. Recently, a few doors have expanded a bit, and they are starting to hit each other when closing. I called Cabinet World, and spoke with Maria immediately (no crazy phone tree system or waiting for an associate). She was so helpful from the beginning. Once she understood the problem we have with our cabinets, she went through a process on how to fix them (starting with sending us some replacement parts) and what other steps we can take if the less intrusive measures aren't working. I'll provide an update once we've gone through this process, but things are looking really good so far, and I'm really grateful we stepped up for some quality, name brand cabinets. Not only have they held up really well over time, but they are fully backed and supported, over a decade later!
