I was prepared to be unhappy because there was a communication mixup and they were a half hour late. I was about to leave when the guy finally made it. I am really glad i did not leave. We live in an old apartment that has not been updated in 40 years. I moved in to live with my significant other and the carpet was pretty bad looking before I got here seven months ago. There were numerous dark brown/black stains all over the apartment. I did not have high hopes. To keep it short they did an amazing job and removed alll the stains. I was flabbergasted. I gave Citrus Plus a call on an afternoon, talked to Craig, and the next day Vadym arrived at my house to clean a couple rooms and some area rugs. Everyone was super responsive, Vadym was right on time, professional, and very helpful in explaining the cleaning process. Our carpets had some spots in higher traffic areas, but it had been a few years since they were installed new and I figured we should keep on top of things before pet hair and dirt got too deeply ground in. Even with our fancy pants vacuum cleaner it seems pet hair finds a way to weave its way in there, and sure enough a lot more came out during their cleaning process. Everything dried in a few hours, looks great, and the carpets are much brighter. The pet safe non-toxic citrus smell during the cleaning process was nice, but once dry not really any smell left at all - just clean. I wouldn't hesitate to call Citrus Plus again. read more

I am helping a friend get their house clean. My friend has been sick for quite some time and the white carpets were very bad. I really didn't think the stains would come out. There was one big stain that I was sure wouldn't be able to come out. I just want to say I am a believer now!! The carpets look great. The big stain is barely noticeable. The rest of the carpets are beautiful. There were stains and spills everywhere. Now they are so clean! You would never know how bad they were and its a white carpet!!!!. I am so happy with the work I just had done. We have a 30 year old white carpet which just looked generally gray and icky. My cat had thrown up in the upstairs bedroom and my attempts to clean it had made it much, much uglier! The staff did an amazing job on the carpet. The stain is so hard to see. You have to look for it to really see it! The staff was so courteous and were very careful and respectful of my home. The prices were very fair. They also finished incredibly quickly. Hands down the BEST carpet cleaning I've ever had! I have two young boys so you can imagine the dirt and grime that gets tracked across our carpets. This carpet cleaning got out EVERY single one of our spots. It was truly unbelievable. No other company has been able to make my carpet look brand new, but they did. WOW! Craig's services are unbeatable. Our carpets look better now than when we moved in! We had many high traffic areas, kid and pet stains. We were never happy with the steam clean/soak your carpet type cleaners - stains always returned and carpets were drenched. Not only does my carpet look better than it ever has but we have been left with a wonderful clean orange (non-chemical!!) scent. All the stains and dirt are gone!! We called on Craig to clean white carpet, sofas, and chairs. He vacuumed and treated the carpet so that any stains were completely removed. He evaluated the procedure for the upholstery to be sure that no damage would occur. Because the procedure doesn't involve large quantities of water, the carpet was dry in two hours; and there was no chemical smell. Craig is a great worker, and everything looks wonderful. read more

I live in an apartment with 20+ year old carpets (the complex would replace, but it is WAY TOO MUCH TROUBLE for me) so they are not in the best condition. The sun has actually rotted away a portion by my sliding door. Plus, I have a dog and cat with the usual body function issues, including a particularly tough spot in one room. And finally, it was like a giant furball that had not had much attention of any sort let alone a professional cleaning in at least 15 years. But I thought I would give Craig a try, and what a great job he did! I'm actually motivated to spend time maintaining their "new" look. The large pet spot is so cleaned I wouldn't know it was there, if I didn't know it was there. The rest of it is much brighter and clean looking particularly due to his twice-vacuumed (before and after) process. Other companies don't bother with that and leave the clumps of fur and dirt behind. By the time he was finished, the carpet was essentially dry and did not require a lot of lag time for restoring furniture, etc. And finally, even though I had alerted him to its sorry condition when I made the appt., I think he may have been a little daunted by it. However, he never gave up on doing the best job he could, using about eight of his round moppy-thingys instead of what might normally have been about four of them. I would absolutely have him come back again and strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a carpet cleaning service. read more

Great job with carpets, but I would not recommend them for their newer tile cleaning service. I asked for tile and grout cleaning and new bathtub grout. New bathtub grout was done really badly and when I said it looked the same (honestly worse) as before he blamed the original grout. BTW this guy was not Craig, he was an employee of Craig. If he knew it wouldn't look good he should have told me that upfront or told me the old grout needed complete removal first or whatever / I think he just didn't know what he was doing with grout. Some shower tiles and bathroom floor grout did not get clean and after the service he said well those were never going to get clean... would have been good to have that expectation before the service. I spent $350 on these services and nothing looked any different! Plus the guy (again not Craig!) reeked of pot which was kind of a gross smell to have in my house. read more

Last week I contacted Citrus Plus to schedule a upholstery cleaning. I had seen good reviews for them on Yelp. I was disappointment when the president, Craig Radley, replied back that they did not service South San Francisco at this time. I thank him for the quick response and told him I hope that sometime in the future they would be large enough to expand their area. I told him I was going to try cleaning the sofa myself. He was so helpful . He got back to me with a list of things to do when cleaning it yourself. I was amazed that he would take the time to do so, when I didn't even use his service. The team cleaned the carpet and removed some of the stubborn stains...all in less time and with the carpets being less wet than traditional carpet shampooing.
