First time visitor Was able to make reservation on a partnering website (they do have their own app to download for check in / check out / information about the hotel overall) Located right across Denny Park Street parking / lot parking that I believe cost About 20 to 30 mins away from Seattle airport pending time of day and weather Unique lobby filled with character hidden touches cultural references various work spaces and materials and centered open bar - look for The Pac-Man and ghost :) Upon entry are sets of computers to check in and create your own room key card, can be done on the app too and be provided with room number Had the king room which is 150 square feet / yep sounds very small but it was very functional and thoughtful in the layout Firm bed and large firm squishy pillows and the comforter may look thin but was cozy and warm The sink had storage for trash towels tiny fridge and vanity area The bathroom was a walk in shower with toilet The bed had built in storage and safe The window view was just lovely to see the life of night and day come by There is a small desk and lamp built in on each side on the bed Tiny closet to store your bag and a few hangers provided Hair dryer is provided One thing I noticed there are not any USB plug in the room so bring your wall adapter, however in the lobby various charging stations and plug in available at many seating areas. The fun part which I didn't think I enjoy as much as I did is the iPad that controls everything in the rooms from the curtains / black out curtains / lights / tv / temperature / etc The sets of curtain was a nice touch to enjoy and could hardly hear any running water or noise through the walls Very centrally located to many spots such as pikes downtown Amazon sphere parks Whole Foods caffeine space needle - felt very safe walking during various parts of the morning mid day and evening Walk in shower has a hand held and rain shower effect - it does say 100 degree the hottest water does get but I did find one of the morning the water did not retain its heat and started to become a cooler shower Gym facility below has peloton free weights and rowing machines Bar has a water refill system for both flat and carbonated water Option to pay for breakfast and late checkout is available Lastly they acknowledge the note attach to the reservation - a hand written card was left 2 balloons and complimentary drink card, really shows they care and put in effort with detailed touches Would certainly recommend and this hotel chain is located through both in the US and internationally. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay. The location is great, close to Whole Foods, public transit, walkable, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Room is very modern and tech, you can control the temperature, lighting, curtains, TV with an iPad. The bed was very comfy! I slept so well. My room was plenty for one person although I can imagine being a little bit small for a couple. The room is very efficiently designed, much like those in Japan where everything was thoughtfully designed to maximize the storage/counter space. The shower was also on the smaller side. The lobby was a nice place to chill, hang out with friends or do some co-working. Very artsy, modern vibe. Minor gripe - the room didn't have coffee or tea, which for the price was very disappointing. The gym was small and pretty barebones, no yoga mats and limited equipments. Check in was easy, did everything on a computer and an associate checked my ID. Checking out was less seamless, I had accidentally spilled water on my key card so it wasn't checking out so the girl assisting said she'll take care of it. I asked if she needed my room number, she said no. I didn't get any email confirmation so I asked another girl and she was like uh you never check out.

My first time staying in Seattle and I picked the CitizenM to stay at. This was my new home for a few days and I love the community space in here. I have never stayed in any of these CitizenM hotels but a friend of mine suggested trying them out. So I did and enjoyed my entire experience at the hotel. The price was reasonable but maybe for some people the room itself might be a tad bit on the smaller side. The shower is also just a small shower size like what you would find on a cruise ship. The blackout curtains were a bonus for me and you have a ton of privacy. I didn't hear any of my neighbors when I was here. Love the way and layout of the bar and the decorations all put around the hotel. I did order drinks here and also had food here too! Not bad at all and overall I just had a fun and great experience. If I'm in another place I'll see if CitizenM has a location there.

An industrial design approach hotel that puts technology and art at the forefront. I've seen this chain of hotel all over including LA and NY. During my trip to Seattle I finally decided to stay here and I'm glad I did. I found this hotel to be very modern and youthful in style. I did some research on The CitizenM brand and found that The Citizen M hotels are built out of modules that are roughly shipping container sized. The outside structure of this hotel very much gives that. As you can imagine due to the container size comparison of the rooms, the rooms are narrow but strangely spacious. Because of the narrow width there are many design compromises, such as the XL square bed filling the entire width of the room, creating a situation where if two people are sharing it, one has to climb over the other. However, if you rethink the bed and use your imagination just a bit. If your sharing with someone like I did, you can place the pillows by the window to sleep. that way you wont have to climb over each other when getting out of bed. Try it. The shower controls are an European design and was actually kind of complicated for me to figure out even with the pictures on the side. All the lightening in the room are LED lights that come in different colors. Giving you the options to tune the room from business to ambiance. This and more is all functional by a tablet in your room that pretty much controls everything including the TV, climate, electronic window shade, everything is interconnected. Its pretty cool because you really don't even need traditional staff for very much because there's a self-serve check-in and check out, cashless dining and snack bar, free Wi-Fi, and even a Ironing room that is always open to iron your clothes if needed called "Iron heaven". There's also an AYCE breakfast buffet you can purchase for $18.99 that's actually good. This hotel is definitely something of the future.

This is such a beautiful special place, and I've been traveling around the world for a long time .... This hotel really amazed me. The service is very friendly, the rooms are small and are very high tech and very comfortable to stay in. Everything that you need is there in place... it l feels like somebody really thought about everything. Breakfast is to die for.

I loved staying at the CitizenM. I can confirm that it's been the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Modern tech, sleek design and close to pretty much everything. From the self check-in process on the computer to checking out, everything went well. Our room was a little small but with all the great tech features for lighting and music, there's nothing I can complain about. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it.

Loved it. Are Citizen M Hotels right for everyone? No, but I don't think they need to be. I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel while visiting my friend and had a wonderful time. The room was the cleanest hotel room I had ever stayed in, the lobby was fun and the friend I was visiting came and hung out with me multiple times cause it was a great place to hang out. One of the nights we got free corn nuts from the bar and getting anything free from hotels, I'm a sucker for. We loved the sparkling and still water taps in the lobby. And we even got some good work done at one point! The location was pretty central, which made it easy to walk around in my free time. I think for solo travelers, this is such a great hotel.

Drew was amazing and gave great service ! Very kind and had excellent customer service

When I stay at a hotel this is what I want it to be, CLEAN, tech savvy, welcoming, comfortable, safe, and in a great location. I will most defiantly be adding this chain to my list of must stays. The only thing that would have made it is a 5 would be free coffee and iron/ironing board in the room.

We had a good time here.Tyler has great customer service. He was the person who greeted us from the beginning. His service was attentive, kind, helpful and just an amazing personality. The bed was very comfortable and loved how the rooms looked. So sleek and cozy. I also loved how the rooms have the option to change the colors of the room light. It adds a a great ambiance to the room with whatever mood your trying to set. The lobby area is my favorite. So many areas to sit and hang out, read a book to grab a drink with your friends. It's very trendy and well decorated. On the flip side, their pillows are not comfortable and their food choices aren't exactly appetizing. But the drinks were made well especially the service from Emily at the bar too! Thanks for the great service Tyler and Emily

This hotel is definitely different than any that I've stayed at in the past. It's good for those who don't plan to spend much time inside the hotel room. My friends and I decided to check it out on our latest visit to Seattle cause the price was decent and the rooms looked nice in the pictures. Good thing it's one of those hotels where the room actually looked like the pictures. This hotel is very high tech. The check-in and out process was all digital, but there were staff members there to help with anything as well. You can control everything in your room from an iPad or on your phone (through the app) whether it's the lights, shades, music, or even picking the days for cleaning service. The room itself was small and tight. Our bed was right up against the window (which might be weird for those who had a room closer to ground level) but they have settings to close the blinds with a lighter or darker shade, depending on how much natural light you wanted in the room. The TV was on the wall across from the pillows of the bed, fairly close. There was a table and chair right next to the bed and a bathroom right on the other side of the table that was the shower stall and toilet. It kind of felt like a nicer airplane bathroom. The sink was right outside the bathroom and there was still enough space on the other side of the bathroom for hanging clothes. However, there's a separate room on each floor for ironing. My friends and I actually spent more time downstairs in the lobby/common space where there are different sections of couches and tables, as well as a full bar. There are private rooms to reserve as well. In the basement, there's the public bathrooms which are gender neutral and a sleek and simple gym. We also got breakfast for one of the days, which you have to pay for but we were able to get it free since we used each other's referral codes for booking on their website. They didn't automatically apply it to our accounts so we had to ask the staff, which they helped apply to our accounts after. The breakfast was actually really good, not those continental breakfasts. There was scrambled eggs, quality thick bacon, an assortment of pastries, fruit, lox, and so much more! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here since all we really needed was a clean place to sleep at night. The whole ambience was modern, which made the decor look simple and nice.

What a great hotel! It's all self check-in/check-out so I had minimal interaction with the staff but the ones I did interact with, especially Holly, were all great! You even get to pick the floor you're on when checking in. Free black coffee in the mornings (h&h, sugar and honey included). I did have issues controlling the TV. The iPad provided to control it only responded to my inputs once and the app never worked. The remote worked but changing channels was tedious and there was a long delay between channels and it never said what channel I was on. The blinds also randomly closed one time without me pressing anything. Speaking of the blinds, it was PITCH BLACK when the night one was closed, just how I liked. I couldn't hear any outside noise aside from the occasional emergency vehicle. WiFi worked great. The shower was perfect. Room included a mini fridge. Short walk to the Westlake SoundTransit station and the Seattle Center (Space Needle). I would definitely stay here again.

Nice new hotel, great location. Lobby and bar are excellent as well as the free breakfast. Auto blinds and lights in room are great. Reasonably priced- A few challenges: pillows are big, thick and stiff. No coffee in the rooms. The bed is up against the window so if you like a little space or are tall this room may seem tight. Room air only goes to 68...

Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!

Upon entry to the room, I was greeted with a small (and delicious) cake, sparkling wine, and a handwritten card with bday wishes. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. In the morning at the lobby, they had local coffee and mini-donuts or muffins. In the late afternoon in the lobby, they had pink lemonade and snacks (gummy bears, brownies, nuts/dried fruit). Location was a quick 5 min walk to Pike Market which was a fun place to pick up souvenirs made by local artisan to bring home. So much good food as well (Sushi Koshiba, Place Pigelle, The Pink Door, Piroshky Piroshky)
