I'm here almost every other day for snacks, thirst buster or gas. I've always had great speedy customer service until recently/ I think that perhaps the location is under new management because all of the staff is not the same staff that was there a few weeks ago. If it was the staff that was there a few weeks ago that I would have no problem with a five star review because they always went above and beyond to provide speedy check out as well as helping me locate specific snacks or replenished the dr. pepper syrup for the fountain drinks. Most of the staff at Circle K don't care to even replace the syrup on the machine but every time they find out that they're out at this location they have replaced it as soon as they were able. Which is greatly appreciate it since it's much less expensive than if I purchased a bottle of soda. I'm hoping that the staff that I was familiar with is just on vacation or something because I'm not impressed with the service since the last few weeks. read more

The pumps are shit. The card readers are shit. Got a brand new credit card I use only for gas. I've used it maybe 5-10 times, but on these card readers it doesn't work, which means no gas since this place is pre-paid only. When the card readers do work, the pumps are very slow, like bitter winter in Wisconsin slow, where you're wondering "Is there a blockage?" Nope. Just shitty pumps. Bye . I can't even give one star to the location on 35th Ave Greenway. Dirty, sticky, out of stock and ALWAYS a stinky dirty water mop bucket everytime i go in ughhh the smell. Mostly the new rude girl with strawberry blonde hair (very rude and doesn't know how to work or help) I never thought this store could get worse and whoop there it is I highly suggest to hire friendly girls, not rude bitches. I really dont know what people complain about from thus store this store used to be filthy dirty ive seen alot of improvement but can improve more. But youre right about nick he tends to get out of hand for the slightest thing he really shoukd not be working there. But other then that this store is decent compared to alot of circle ks. I have noticed that ppl here always tend to make it hard for the employees ive seen stuff unfold while in line were a customer is arguing with the employee for dumb shit. The most important thing... the restrooms at this one were CLEAN! With kids (girls) that are 6 and 8 - that is very important to me. I can always stand - they can't. The checkout line was really long... and the other person working the store was not paying attention. We had to ask him to come to the register...to which he replied he would be just a min. I tried two different gas pumps, and my card would not fit in either one. I told the clerk, but they did not seem to care.

This place deserves ZERO stars. Before posting this, I read some previous reviews, and noticed the same employee I'm going to tell you about, NICK, has had run-ins with other customers. So, I walk in the store, there are two cashiers working, a lady and a fella. The fella, Nick, is chatting with the lady cashier. I wait patiently till he prompts me to step up. I approach the counter. He says: "Yeah." I say, "Copenhagen Long Cut." He says, "Can't help you." I'm like...what? He says, "You can't talk to me like that." ???? I quickly realize that he ain't joking. So I ask, "what's your problem?" Then he goes off on me, saying I don't know how to talk. I tell him he's a miserable person, then I get in line and wait for the lady to help me. As she's finishing up with another customer, I notice she has a startled look in her eye, and has an apologizing demeanor. This jerk, Nick, keeps flapping his jaws at me, and I just want to get my Copenhagen and leave. The lady, Stacy, quickly grabs what I ask for and rings me up. I tell her, "Thank you." This sets psycho Nick off even more. I tell him that she earned that thank you, unlike him. Like the small, weak man that he is, as I'm leaving he drops the F bomb on me and yells at me to "GET THE F OUT!!!" Never, never in all my years of convenience store shopping has a clerk acted nor treated me in such a manner. I let him know that I would be contacting the owner, he didn't seem very worried. The dirtiest & stickiest Circle K we've ever been in! I asked the clerk what happened to the cleaning crew & he looked shocked & said "We have to clean the store every 15 minutes!" The floors haven't been mopped in a week & our shoes we're sticking to them! & every counter had so much sticky soda & icee syrup, we couldn't set our cups down to put lids & straws on & in them! Gross! Bathrooms, filthy! Men & women's bathrooms had diarrhea splattered on them - BOTH! Just nastiness everywhere you look! Never seems to be any hot dogs or grill items cooking here. Some days the machines are off, without any out of order sign. Maybe the demand is not there for it. Better to get your ready grill items at the QuikTrip at 19th Ave and Loop 101. Service is slow here sometimes if there are a lot of people in line. And I guess when there are multiple people working, they are not instructed to step in to help at the registers if, say, they are doing inventory or filling the ice or something else. Standard Circle K service level though. Nothing compared to QT of course where they hurry to get you in and out. Convenient location. Easy access in and out. Limited parking spaces. read more

It didn't used to be so bad, if the lines are long they go slow. There are always these hoodlum kids that loiter around outside, making the place seem unsafe and sketchy. Worst Circle K store ever.. charging more then what's listed on shelf.. dirty.. nothing but a very scummy place

First of all the employees there are extremely rude and absolutely don't care about their job or anything about it. There is one man there that tops off all the rest of the employees and I'm pretty sure he's the manager. He's always shaking his head, and never looks at anyone while they're talking to him but better yet when I was trying to have a conversation with him about one of my purchases he just walked away. Absolutely awful. I usually stop here after work since it's so close- until tonight. I walked in, (just to put it out there, i only come here because QT doesn't carry Mountain Dew voltage) and I wasn't greeted, which is fine but it is something QT always does to make you feel welcomed, when i went to get my drink, it looked weird so i tasted it and it seemed like the syrup was out- there was an old lady working & it took me 3 times saying "excuse me" for her to actually hear me. I told her that the syrup was out and she looked at me like I was dumb & said "actually if it was out it would be beeping" FALSE- it doesn't beep when it's out and I'm telling you it tasted like carbonated water. She then proceeds to tell me "well I'm not gonna change it so get something else" HAHAHAHA WHAT A JOKE! I walked out with nothing in my hand and I will not be returning. This one of the worst stores I have to come acrossed. The clerks are not friendly. I told myself that I wasn't going to there anymore. I'm pretty sure everyone that works there hates their job and it shows. No one smiles, no one says thank you and when you wish them a good day you get "yeah, ok." They are usually busy in the mornings with a line of people but there is only one clerk taking care of customers. Even though I've seen 4 people in the store. Love this place love the staff except for Beatrice, everything was fine at the store until September 24th 2014 on register 2 approximately 5:25 pm she charged me $44.00 for a $0.86 polar pop. I was on my way to my sons t-ball practice down the street when I receive a text from my bank where it states I was charged $44 for the purchase. I have talked to the store manager Connie and she's really nice however unable to help me, she wasn't able to reprint a receipt for me and all she could tell me to do was challenge the charge through my bank. Now the bank is charging me again for this because shell/circle k still state that it is a valid charge because my pin was entered. I drive a 4 cylinder car that has a 10 gallon tank that I filled at another circle k the day prior for like $28.00 so there is no way for me to physically pump $44.00 worth of gas in my tank even if gas was $4.40 a gallon. I also want to add that I always buy drinks for my co-workers at a circle k down the street from my work and will go out of my way to go to quick trip even though it's more expensive if this issue doesn't get resolved. The bank is gonna try to dispute the charge with this location again for the remainder amount of $43.14,($44.00 minus the $0.86 I should've been charged) and I hope this can be resolved, if not I also work in a customer service/ retail store with the highest volume of customers in Phoenix, I've worked in 5 different stores with this company and to this day I still have customers from those stores come in to my location and ask for me, and I'll make sure my customers know just what happen to me at this location along with everyone else I know if it can't be resolved.also If it can get resolved, great I'll change the review and give them five stars, but for now I would've given them none if it was an option.Until then I will continue to use circle k until I hear from them, I went ahead and left a message to their "corporate office" number earlier tonight.well see how this goes...sorry wrong store was meant for store 35th ave and deer valley! read more
