She asked my name again in Spanish. Then she started looking in the alphabetical photo bins. If this wasn't taking forever, I would have laughed out loud. She was looking at the wrong letter! Mind you I have an easy, 2 syllable common Anglo last name. Finally, she pulled out that photo bin and it was the small envelope on top. Not sure how/why you hire folks with no English to deal with the public.

Another few minutes passed and a man with dirty work gloves appeared from the back. He took those off & put on disposable gloves - never washing his hands! I am pretty sure the janitor was weighing my food! In looking further behind the counter, every work area was dirty. It looked like one bench had flour spread over it. Another had cardboard & opened packaging. Definitely NOT sanitary. The hot food under the glass was literally crusty & dried out. This was at 5pm, not near closing time. Just a real "eww" feeling from this visit. If it is this bad in July, how bad will it be in 3 months right before they close?

The roses we're more than half gone. We bought almost dead flowers! We couldn't give our little girl these flowers on her big opening night! So at the last minute we bought some good ones at Publix. A dozen, beautiful, red roses for 20.00. I only wish we had gone there first.

I arrived about a half hour early and went straight to the pharmacy counter. The pharmacist was super nice and asked if I had an appointment. I apologized for being early and he said it wasn't a problem. Gave him my driver's license, insurance card and vax card and he only needed the vax card. I waited a couple minutes and he came out and gave me the booster with absolutely no "jab." 5***** injection. Handed me my updated vax card and I received a CVS email at the same time, providing a digital copy of the booster! My entire time inside CVS was maybe 5 minutes. (You do not need to wait the 15 minutes after a booster). Absolutely 5***** pharmacy experience at this CVS! Thank you for making this so convenient and easy.

I explained that I just had a quick question - my husband is sick and has a really bad dry cough. Can she please recommend something? She replied with an answer very quickly. I asked if that was the strongest one. She snapped back "Yes!" Was I supposed to wait until 9:00 just to get an answer from her? So much for a little empathy. I am considering going to the nearby Walgreens from now on. I have spent a good bit of money at CVS in the past. I don't need the substandard customer service.

Employee at the counter was telling a deliveryman where to put items in boxes. Employee never made eye contact even though I was literally 2 feet away. I said, "I'd like to buy some scratch-offs, please." No response. He walked off with the deliveryman showing him where to put items in a box. A man walked in and asked for the restroom key and he immediately handed it to him. Employee returned to the counter, never making eye contact nor speaking to me. I repeated my request telling him how many and which scratch-off. He said $6. I handed him $11. He looked at me and said loudly "IT IS $6." I said, I know, I want a $5 bill back and not $1's. He literally opened the register and shoved the $5 into my hand. I'd hate to think his actions were racially motivated, but it sure seemed it.

I prefer it because it's less busy and usually the last stop on your right heading northbound right before the Cardsound Road starts. I prefer stopping here than in Florida City because everyone is always making angry u-turns that stress me out. They might not have craft beer or that kombucha you scored at the last place but it works for me. They're always a few cents cheaper than the nearby fuel stop which comes in handy if you're filling up for a long trip north or south. Northern Key Largo is a pit stop for plenty of folks in the need to pick up something or simply stretch their legs. Give it a shot.

He starts to ignore me, calling the next customer up. Now I'm not going to yell at an employee pointlessly, but I'm certainly going to let everyone know that the 50 year old man who can hardly speak English is also UNABLE and UNWILLING to do his job. I left and went to the Speedway Gas Station (0.2 miles away) instead, where they provided me with prompt and professional service. I have let everyone I know who lives here to never visit that station. The other employees are OK, and do the job they were hired to do. This man specifically though, chose to go below and beyond to not serve someone who, if a manager (or anyone with a brain) was around, would be served.
