The first time we stopped, I needed change to pay for air. The place was really busy and I was in line for several minutes just to get change for a dollar. People were buying food, chicken, potatoes, etc. and it seemed really popular. There were picnic tables outside and everyone seemed really friendly. I was mostly annoyed to stand there waiting just to get change. Thankfully we made a habit of holding onto quarters the rest of the trip so we could get in quickly for the air the tire needed. I can't remember how much the air was. Seems like we typically paid $1.75 which I think is ridiculous, but whatever, not like we had a lot of options.

I wasn't losing air, but wasn't about to pull it at home and get a flat in my driveway. So I was 3rd in line at Wheaton's and the service writer remembered me! As he also did tires, he came out and said "Let's pull it." He put liquid soap on the spot and pulled. The screw was less than 1/2 inch long and had not penetrated! Yay! Best possible scenario. No charge! Cudos for fast, friendly, old fashioned service!

My biggest problem was the customer service. The mechanic (whose first language was not English) had problems locating the proper jack fitting for my Tesla. Then he claimed that the tire could not be repaired. It was a simple plug fix but he wanted to either patch or replace the tire. It was only resolved when a manager became involved. Very nice lady manning the front desk but again seemed confused. Might be a one off but I probably would not recommend if other options are available.

We bought the most awesome stone crab claws , and they cracked them for us & packaged them up on ice for the trip back to our hotel. If you're going this route, you must also buy their mustard sauce, which goes amazing with the Stone crab or if you're a purist, the cocktail sauce, which was delicious. I travel from Miami monthly and stock up on tuna, shrimp, snapper, calamari, Mahi Mahi, grouper, and any other surprise fish.
