Food is always good and comforting! True diner choices! Always welcomed with a smile! Always accommodating and friendly! Love it here! From breakfast to dinner and everything in between, one of the best go to places!

We stopped for a simple meal as we were on the road. Food was not good, service was very slow , that waitresses were just sitting at the bar hanging out, took over 15 mins to get the check. I ordered the Cali salad and unfortunately the salad was mostly brown old wilted lettuce, oh and I found a random slice of Swiss cheese in my non cheese salad. Really hope others have better experience but will not recommend especially with the prices..

This diner serves up comforting vibes, delicious food and a friendly atmosphere....highly recommend it! I went again recently with my spouse and two family members, and everyone loved it. I ordered the Turkey Melt sandwich with coleslaw and a side of fries, an iced frappe (a Greek coffee on ice), and a carrot cake. Everything was fresh, fabulous and tasty! And our waitress, Christa AKA Chrisoula, was so wonderful -- she was very hospitable....she made us all feel welcomed, valued and right at home. Honestly, she went above and beyond, to make our visit special. We had Henny, as a waitress, in the past, and she was excellent, too. (I hope I spelled her name right.) Clearly, the restaurant management knows how to choose and hire outstanding staff members. : ) Our "bus boy," whose name I didn't get, was also sweet and friendly. Again, all of our dishes were terrific: lovingly prepared and generously portioned. We were all so impressed. Alright, now stop scrolling Yelp and go check this diner out! : ) -Kat

This is a go to breakfast stop which never disappoints. The place is very clean and well managed and the food is fresh and good and affordable. Service has always been attentive and relaxed-no one rushing you. They have gorgeous baked goods and sweets I am dying to try! Solid, comfortable, clean and inviting establisment with great food. Off street parking.

Since the diner is so close to the hotel we came here for breakfast , we came in & were seated right way. drinks to start OJ & Coffee not bad. On the food I had the Italian breakfast wrap very good nice tasting eggs , cheese & basil also comes with home fries not bad. Hubby had the Banana walnut pancakes , added some chorizo & eggs. Pancakes were delicious & so was the chorizo, good eggs way too much food literally served as breakfast the next day. nice place, good service & prices were decent we really enjoyed our breakfast.

Dining in these difficult days can be quite a challenge but what I like about this diner is that the dining area is very large and because it is it lends itself to being able to dine with plenty of distance between yourself and others. The staff is quick to seat you and take your order. The menu is classic diner menu. Usually my go to meals are pancakes, grilled cheese and sandwiches. I have not had a bad meal yet!

Food isn't any good. Service sucks and servers are rude. Ambiance is okay. I don't recommend it.

The prices are not that affordable, for the lack of decor and the basic nature of the food the food is overpriced. We ordered an eggs benedict platter$17.25, 2 coffees $3 each and one single fried egg. On the menu, it clearly stated one extra egg ordered with a platter is $2. However, when I received the receipt it stated $4.30. I brought this up to the waitress. She says oh yeah I charged you for an egg sandwich. I questioned why as we did order a platter and it clearly stated $2 for an extra egg which is what I ordered. She proceeded to tell me she worked there 19 years and on and on. I did not want to be rude or further the conversation as she was unwilling to understand or adjust the bill. I said fine I'll take my toast from the sandwich to go then. I paid my bill and gave the customary tip. I will not be returning to this business where the waitress fails to communicate correctly when taking the order, then fails to correct the issue at checkout. It was a difference of $2.30, but how do you take the liberty of charging me for something I did not order. The food was basic and the waitress was stubborn for no good cause. There are plenty of no frills diners in the area which I will frequent before setting foot here again.

"I'll go back to the diner I'll write another letter…read moreI hope you'll read it this time" (Billie Eilish) I kind of laughed when our server brought over our menus. They were in a heavy book (reminded me of a high school yearbook) with six pages of choices plus an insert of daily specials. Post Road is the kind of diner that diner lovers dream of. Their menu is an embarrassment of riches and would seamlessly fit in alongside anything you would find on the Sunrise Highway on Long Island or on Route 17 in New Jersey. Three of us walked in around 11:30am today, and our first order of business was deciding if we'd go for lunch or breakfast food. We all went for breakfast plates- pancakes ($9.99) with a side of scrambled eggs ($2.99), GF Pancakes ($12.98), and for me a "Protein Breakfast" ($13.99) and a coffee ($3.49). So, I'm sure you're asking, "what on earth is a protein breakfast?' Well, it was four egg whites, a few gorgeous tomato slices, and a nice piece of grilled chicken. It was pretty filling and everything tasted great. Our server was efficient and professional and swiftly brought over a "to go" box for the excess of those enormous pancakes. The dining room is awesome, a real throwback to the 1950's with plenty of old-time booths, art deco neon signs, checkerboard ceramic tile, and music\entertainment\pop culture images everywhere. We really enjoyed our visit !

Inquired of Armando, our server about the CBH, he assured me that he was 99% certain it is delicious, homemade etc...so that was my order. Two eggs, overwell, bread the yolk, toast and it was served with hash browns. The dish came out piping hot, crispy edges, eggs were over well, but not burnt, toast was toasted and the ramekin of strawberry jam....delicious strawberry flavor with a flair of homemadeness. Everything was tasty and delectable. What a refreshing experience-from the decor to the wait staff to the foodstuffs. Rating the CBH 4.50 out of 5 stars (portion was a bit small), but the taste & seasonings were on point, eggs are a 4.25 out of 5 stars, hash browns were 4.75 stars out of 5 stars (larger portion that CBH), they were flavorful, seasoned well! My wife was with me and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with Swiss and honey mustard cole slaw. Listen, the chicken breast was freshly prepared, seasoned very well, not dry at all, the brioche bun held everything in place. The star of the show was the honey mustard cole slaw (who would think?)was creamy and plentious, that set the Swiss cheese and the rest of the ingredients to stardom! I will order that sandwich when I return! That sandwich right there rates a 4.75 stars out of 5 stars: it might have received a perfect score of a 5, but the slaw was a bit warm but delicious none the less! Her sandwich was presented with shoestring fries which were hot and tasty, a slight crunch but was void of s&p or any seasonings! Rating her meal (just tasting the sandwich and fries) will garner a 4.25 stars out of 5 stars for the fries. She ordered an iced tea-not sweetened and OH BOY did it need alot of sugar I'm not rating the iced tea at all. Normally I would order coffee, but didn't have a taste for coffee-imagine that...The CBH was $19 by itself and we paid $43.35 and left a $10.00 tip for Armando-so $53 for brunch was not bad, on the edge of pricy, but well worth the service, atmosphere as well as the foodstuffs! We will be back and ask for Armando's section. Thank you for being kind to us! Chef Clinton The dining room was spacious and the manager was definitely sharp: ensuring that the 4 large parties (three of the Parties had at least 10 indivduals & the other Eight) were seated in a reasonable amount of time. The wait staff worked to push the tables together without a big commotion and were pleasant while doing so.
