2 Scrambled Eggs, White Toast, Bacon Extra Crispy and Home Fries.

In the area and looked for a spot for breakfast. Nice old school place. Friendly people, fast fresh service. Prices not to bad considering how much things costs these days. Eggs were nice and Fluffy. Bacon was ordered Extra Crispy and they gave a lot of bacon slices. Home fries were tasty with a bit of sweet cooked down onions which gave a nice taste. Tea was nice and warm. Friendly people didn't try to rush me out. Nice spot for a bite.

Consistently good food, Johnny is a pro on the grill. Patty the waitress is a pleasure. They have some of the best French toast around.

Nothing fancy but clean. Authentic diner vibe. Friendly service. Simple menu. Great breakfast potatoes. Reasonably priced. We'll go back.

I came w/ my cousin from NYC around almost noon. We were around the area. We decided on diner food…read moreb/c they pretty much have a larger variety. Something for someone. The Waitress greeted us as soon as the hostess sat us. She gave us breakfast only menus. I asked for the full menu. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast. I ordered a turkey/bacon triple decker no lettuce or tomatoes add American cheese w/ hash browns(their's is shredded potatoes). It came w/ a pickle & homemade Cole slaw. I love homemade Cole slaw!I know I know some ppl. Think Cole slaw is gross but I learned to love it! Waitress was overwhelmed by my special order. She was waiting by herself & it started to get busy. She really needs help. Food came out in a bit (which I don't mind the wait b/c that means the food is fresh). Waitress forgot to tell cook I wanted American cheese. She then started to say I never ordered that. I told her yes I did. We went back & forth for a bit. She offered to give me a piece of cheese. I told her no I want it made in my triple decker. I don't want cold cheese that I have to put in myself when I ordered it. She came back a little bit later w/ my food. I hope they didn't do anything to it. The waitress came & apologized b/c she looked @ her notepad & I did order American cheese. She forgot all about it. Any hoot, food was good especially coleslaw! Inside was your basic diner layout. It was nice & clean. The vibe felt like I was @ home. Waitress was very friendly & couldn't be attentive b/c it got busy. I hope she gets help b/c I would like to be back & try more food. A few of my doctors are near by.

"I'll go back to the diner I'll write another letter…read moreI hope you'll read it this time" (Billie Eilish) I kind of laughed when our server brought over our menus. They were in a heavy book (reminded me of a high school yearbook) with six pages of choices plus an insert of daily specials. Post Road is the kind of diner that diner lovers dream of. Their menu is an embarrassment of riches and would seamlessly fit in alongside anything you would find on the Sunrise Highway on Long Island or on Route 17 in New Jersey. Three of us walked in around 11:30am today, and our first order of business was deciding if we'd go for lunch or breakfast food. We all went for breakfast plates- pancakes ($9.99) with a side of scrambled eggs ($2.99), GF Pancakes ($12.98), and for me a "Protein Breakfast" ($13.99) and a coffee ($3.49). So, I'm sure you're asking, "what on earth is a protein breakfast?' Well, it was four egg whites, a few gorgeous tomato slices, and a nice piece of grilled chicken. It was pretty filling and everything tasted great. Our server was efficient and professional and swiftly brought over a "to go" box for the excess of those enormous pancakes. The dining room is awesome, a real throwback to the 1950's with plenty of old-time booths, art deco neon signs, checkerboard ceramic tile, and music\entertainment\pop culture images everywhere. We really enjoyed our visit !

Inquired of Armando, our server about the CBH, he assured me that he was 99% certain it is delicious, homemade etc...so that was my order. Two eggs, overwell, bread the yolk, toast and it was served with hash browns. The dish came out piping hot, crispy edges, eggs were over well, but not burnt, toast was toasted and the ramekin of strawberry jam....delicious strawberry flavor with a flair of homemadeness. Everything was tasty and delectable. What a refreshing experience-from the decor to the wait staff to the foodstuffs. Rating the CBH 4.50 out of 5 stars (portion was a bit small), but the taste & seasonings were on point, eggs are a 4.25 out of 5 stars, hash browns were 4.75 stars out of 5 stars (larger portion that CBH), they were flavorful, seasoned well! My wife was with me and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with Swiss and honey mustard cole slaw. Listen, the chicken breast was freshly prepared, seasoned very well, not dry at all, the brioche bun held everything in place. The star of the show was the honey mustard cole slaw (who would think?)was creamy and plentious, that set the Swiss cheese and the rest of the ingredients to stardom! I will order that sandwich when I return! That sandwich right there rates a 4.75 stars out of 5 stars: it might have received a perfect score of a 5, but the slaw was a bit warm but delicious none the less! Her sandwich was presented with shoestring fries which were hot and tasty, a slight crunch but was void of s&p or any seasonings! Rating her meal (just tasting the sandwich and fries) will garner a 4.25 stars out of 5 stars for the fries. She ordered an iced tea-not sweetened and OH BOY did it need alot of sugar I'm not rating the iced tea at all. Normally I would order coffee, but didn't have a taste for coffee-imagine that...The CBH was $19 by itself and we paid $43.35 and left a $10.00 tip for Armando-so $53 for brunch was not bad, on the edge of pricy, but well worth the service, atmosphere as well as the foodstuffs! We will be back and ask for Armando's section. Thank you for being kind to us! Chef Clinton The dining room was spacious and the manager was definitely sharp: ensuring that the 4 large parties (three of the Parties had at least 10 indivduals & the other Eight) were seated in a reasonable amount of time. The wait staff worked to push the tables together without a big commotion and were pleasant while doing so.
