Breakfast is served all day and also offers a hamburger eating challenge . Service was fast and friendly and the restroom was clean. We ordered the Sinatra's breakfast , 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes or French toast, and a side of grits. Also ordered was the Monte Crisco, ham, turkey, cheese and Swiss on French toast. The Sinatra's breakfast was decent, but the deli sliced meat on the Monte Cristo had been grilled, and the quality and taste were not great. The French toast was too soft; needed more time on grill to brown. The sandwich was also dusted with powdered sugar which for me did not work. Just revisited with my kids after school shopping and noticed they updated the menu. It's definitely for the better; they've added more flavorful options instead of just the plain bland stuff they usually have. I tried the chorizo platter with eggs, potatoes, peppers, and onions, which was really tasty with a decent portion. Also noticed more Mexican dishes throughout the menu, for lunch items. The kids ordered milkshakes as usual and were happy. They actually request to come here just because of it. Service was solid as always. Prices are a bit higher compared to White's Diner, and I still think it's wild they charge extra for sprinkles as a topping for their shake, but overall it feels like the place has improved. read more

This place was so nostalgic it was just so horny with so many picture frames and pictures of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Audrey Hepburn like this classic. They had invented soda machines and the rotary phones, loved every part of this diner. This is a Mexican 50s vibe diner the food was delicious I had the Huevos A La Mexicana and I was in heaven, I paired it with their Maragrita Smoothie. I've never even heard of a Margarita Smoothie so I was gongho to try it out, and I wasn't disappointed. This was just the first time coming here and before we made our way back home the following day, it was my mother and I we went back for breakfast but wound up ordering lunch it was so good I forgot to take pictures. For lunch my mom did their patty melt and I did their tex barbecue bacon burger. The burger came loaded with bacon cheddar cheese and sautéed onions (mouthwatering). I also paired my burger with their mango smoothie top notch. The wait staff was amazing even though they got busy they never forgot to come back to the table to keep checking on us to make sure we had everything and that everything was good. My wife and I made the trip up to Connecticut from Maryland for a concert and decided to stop here for the cute 50's vibe. Numerous Elvis and Marilyn Monroe pictures adorn the walls. I got a kick out of watching Ironman on one of the TV's in black and white. The food was great and pretty affordable. My wife got a great classic cheeseburger that was the size of her head! Seems like a small family run business, nice 50s atmosphere, and large menu. The burger as a whole was decent. But the burger patty was tasteless and possibly cooked 50s style (boiled/steamed?). Pickles were too sweet tasted like sandwich pickles, not dill/sour spears as expected with a burger. Fries tasted like frozen out of a bag, maybe seasoning would help? Unfortunately, the service is what really needs work here. Came in about 1pm for lunch. the restaurant was completely empty and there were 2 dirty tables that had not been cleared yet. During the lunch, they proceeded to vacuum near us while we were eating. When we asked them to shut the vacuum so that we could have lunch in quiet so that we could hear each other talk, they started sweeping the rug near us kicking up dust and dirt into the air while we were eating. I used to work in restaurants and the staff here could really use some training. Cleaning should be done when customers are not eating. Before the rest. opens or after it's closed. Old school diner! I love this place because of its location and extensive menu. Now, it's nothing fancy, but I like the 50's theme and you can sit at the lunch counter, booth, or take a table. The perfect spot for early breakfast or late night eats. I had The Rocky wrap which is a chicken cutlet with roasted peppers and cheese; I inhaled it. Greeted by a friendly waitress, we sat at a booth. Loved the 'oldies' music. Decorations were cute. Lots of Marilyn Monroe paraphernalia as well as Route 66 signs. Food was very good and reasonably priced. I had a gyro with fries. This was made a bit different. Usually lettuce and cukes are part of the wrap. This had sauteed onions and tomatoes which were very savory, combined with the gyro meat. When i topped with the tzaikki sauce, it was delicious! Coleslaw was tasty too. We went in a big group so that might have not been the best for the chefs, but the food wasn't that great. the chicken tenders were less fried and more soggy. However, my pita sandwich, which was ok, ended up being quite a bit more expensive then I thought because they charged me 3$ to add sweet potato fries (which was stated as a 1$ upcharge on the menu). For Gyros meat to be bland is difficult, especially in this part of the country. The chicken fingers and Belgian waffle were just so-so. The food was piping hot from the kitchen, however. Be aware that they charge extra for a side when you order a sandwich. There is parking in the strip center, but it is shared with all of the tenants. We wanted to like this restaurant.
