The decor was cozy and tables neatly arranged . - Food: appetizer of heirlooom tomatoes , rack of lamb, and rosemary focaccia were all very tasty . - Main Course : I had the lobster gnoochi and it was on point . My colleagues had the pork chop , ribeye , and salmon. All were very tasty according to them . - Drinks: I had The Perfectionist , their version of the Manhattan and The Botanist , similar to a mojito . Both were very good . - Overall : From the service to the ambiance to the drinks and to the food --- all 5 of 5 stars . We had four adults and two grade school kids - we ordered a cinnamon roll as a pass around appetizer as we were all very hungry. It was very large and delicious. Hubby had a pimento cheeseburger and I had the Spring pasta with peas, poached chicken, asparagus, artichoke, and pancetta. Loved my pasta and the creamy sauce that tied all the ingredients together. Circa is such a hidden gem and easily the best restaurant in the Spring Hill/Thompson's Station area. We love going there for special occasions! These photos were from our anniversary last year. I really love this place. I have been there twice but wanted to hold off on a review till after the second time. In any case, this is a must if you live or visiting here. Atmosphere is awesome, food is alive with taste and service was top notch. The Fried Brussel Sprouts are incredible. Go there and just have that and you would leave happy due to the pretty hefty portion. Delicious food! Went here a few weeks ago with a large group (10 of us total). Such a cute restaurant, great service and an amazing meal. I think they have switched over to their fall/winter menu so I can't find the exact dish I had but I believe I had the trout which was amazing. We got a number of appetizers to share. I really enjoyed the charcuterie board but everything we got was terrific. We got a few desserts to share as well and they were all wonderful. I got a side of the pan roasted potatoes which were flavorful and cooked perfectly. We will be back soon! read more

I should have took pictures....hand up. I want to start by saying our waitress was fantastic(Miranda)! Most of the food was amazing. The reason for the review was who I assume was the manager (man bun). He came by the table and asked us how our meal was. We ate with zero complaints, but when he asked we just said "everything was great but our steaks were under. We all ordered medium rare. My steak was rare and my sister in laws was the definition of blue or Pittsburgh rare. He then told us "that's how we do things here. This isn't an Applebees or Chilis". Such a condescending statement to make. Why even ask why I want it cooked??? We came out with my mother in law after her recent divorce because this would have been her 40th anniversary. I dined at Circa on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 7 pm. Driving to Circa, I got the feeling that it's located in a somewhat secluded area due to its isolation from other restaurants and businesses. Nevertheless, it's easy to spot with its big sign and filled parking lot. For starters: The tuna tataki is a small light appetizer that tasted quite nice and fresh. The fall harvest gnocchi's portion was very large for an appetizer in my opinion, and would make a good shareable appetizer. The gnocchi was flavorful and nicely caramelized. The consistency of the gnocchi itself was perfect. The wedge salad was a basic salad. The bacon bits were the only exciting thing about that salad. For entrees: The seafood fra diavolo was very good and had good flavors. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly and the ricotta was a nice refreshing element to the dish that cut the richness of the tomato sauce. The ribeye was perfectly cooked to medium rare and was well seasoned. The side of Mac and cheese was everything a Mac and cheese should be - rich, oven-baked, cheesy, and seasoned. I love the Mac and cheese for its bacon and bread crumbs and would recommend it as a side to share. Service was super friendly and very attentive. Food came out pretty quick. Overall, food tasted great with nice presentation and I would return if I'm in the area and craving for that scrumptious bread pudding. read more

It was my wife and I first time and therefore new to us. The Restaurant was recommended by our friends and what a great experience we all enjoyed ever moment we were there. Located across from a old train station in Thompson Station TN it knocked my socks off once we opened the door and was struck with the beautiful smells coming from the kitchen. We made reservations on line after enjoying a tasting at Company Distillery right next door. We welcomed by the hostess and seated immediately at a 4 top with a window looking across to the old train depot with a single caboose on the track and a train train station. The server Forrest was super professional and new all about the menu and suggested various food items. Forrest advised us the the menu was in transition and some items were marked off the menu. Forrest walked us through the ingredients and on each dish. I ordered the ribeye and my wife order the fresh catch of the day which was red snapper. We had a side of the lobster Mac and cheese which feed two people. We loved the crisp Brussel sprout with maple mustard, roasted garlic aioli and candied pecans. All the food was absolutely the best we have enjoyed it a long time. The bartender came to our table and inquired about our drinks she made. We stated that they were perfect and especially the The Flannery she made me which I intend on getting again soon. The wine list was super appropriate to the menu. Great place, great time, great service, and next level food. Lucky Sunday for us and I highly recommend this place anytime you in the area or not! We had high hopes, given recommendations received, so we too out of town guests. Ambiance was excellent, the pork chops were excellent, the salmon was ok, but the crab cake was the worst I have had in years. Little bits of crab in bread. Not even close to a 35.00 crab cake. I picked around in this "lump crabmeat" crabmeat. Very little. Not only that, but the side plate down was over cooked and burnt. Dry. Huge disappointment. If you want pork chops, you'll love it. If you want a crab cake, you will not. Here is a picture of the breading left after I searched for the crab meat. Excellent drink but Fork of the Station still my favorite. They no longer give free bread. That's a huge miss for me. My husband's salmon was excellent as always. My lobster carbonara was not. I really wanted to like this place since it so close to home but it was just pretty average. The cocktails were average at best so next time I will stick with wine. The app which according to the menu was medium rare was closer to medium well but had a nice flavor. I got trout which was supposed to have a lemon caper sauce but not a caper to be seen and it was barely warmer than room temp. Hubby enjoyed his pork chop but the side of crispy red potatoes were greasier than they were crispy. They were so heavy we passed on the desert which to be honest was very limited (as were their sides). It was a real shame because it's a cute little restaurant and very popular with the locals. We love searching Yelp for top locations and stumbled upon Circa Grill in Thompson's Station, TN. We very quickly can see why they have such high ratings. It's not a huge establishment, so I recommend putting in reservations. The outside looks like a plain Jane building, but the inside packs the punch! Our server was phenomenal and helped us decide by listing several top items. He recommended the pork chop. It was amazing! Super thick cut over an inch thick. All the sides are a la carte. We shared the red potatoes, Mac n cheese, and broccolini. So much food! The sides are much bigger than expected and all delicious! For dessert, they had the banana bread pudding. Our server mentioned they do several different renditions of bread pudding. Now I have to go back when they are available. I went with their version of an old fashioned, the Fork at the Station and one of the mixed drinks, the Flannery. Flannery was too sweet for my taste, but a solid drink if you enjoy that type. The Fork was good enough that I needed 2. Must check out this location. Every step of the way was above our expectations and I can't wait to go back again! read more

Absolutely 10/10 recommend this place. My fiancé and I had the marinated airline chicken and asparagus as a side. The chicken was absolutely incredible. I would claim it is the best chicken I have ever had. The skin was crispy and layered with a lemon basil vinaigrette. The chicken was tender, flavourful and juicy. The asparagus paired with it was fresh and well salted. The service slightly lacked but it was understandable due to the business of the restaurant while we were there over the weekend. Wow! Y'all were not kidding. Went there on a Sunday night and ordered more food than we should have. Boy o boy was it great. The 'garlic' pretzels as an appetizer, the 'hot chicken sandwich' to share at the table, and the mac and brisket... MOUTH WATERING AS I WRITE THIS. They even had wine from Paso Robles (best California wine area there is imo). Waiters were excellent! Only one complaint. We wanted a booth and were told they are reserved for larger parties. Thompson's Station's best restaurant by a long shot. We love it and come often. Great menu and great cocktails. We've had great experiences every time. It's a touch loud (some acoustic treatment would be nice) and the takeout bags are essentially just grocery bags. Best meal we have had since moving to Spring Hill. They had a very nice continental menu with gourmet entrees. Presentation was excellent. And best of all, you get all this for a fair price. We first tried Circa in the summer of 2022. We loved the food, the vibe, and the service. So we came back with friends the week before Christmas 2022. These two experiences were very different and I'm not sure we will be going back. On our first visit, the food was high quality and perfectly prepared. On our second visit, the food seemed more like greasy bar food. Some of our food was cold (the fried green tomatoes) and some was over cooked and burned (the relleno). Additionally, the vibe was about the same, but our server seemed less than capable. All in all, we were disappointed given our first experience. read more
