Amazing food! Incredible vegetarian options and great hospitality. The desserts were amazing also.

This place was a whole brunch vibe AND the food and service was amazing. Highly recommend.

Hidden inside the lobby of the hoxton hotel. Nice place to go for brunch. Highly recommend the banana bread! It came with a honey butter spread and Nutella. The only problem was the service was really slow(they were not busy) and they forgot to bring us a few things we ordered. read more

Food was outstanding but a little pricey. I got the grain bowl which was beautifully presented and had fresh ingredients (see attached picture). The drip coffee was strong and had amazing flavor! My friends got the benedict and overnight oats with a side of potatoes (so crispy and well flavored). The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and was fairly quiet for a Saturday brunch! Definitely check it out read more

Such a great place food and service. Aldo was so polite and gave great service. We had the avocado toast which was so amazing the fennel, the pickled onions and the type of bread were delicious! We also had the French toast and my parents thought it was the best French toast they ever had. read more

Loved going here! This is such a great spot, the perfect atmosphere - not to stuffy/fancy but still feels special when you're there! Really loved the Jupiter's Son cocktail and the Orecchiette pasta with the mushroom bolognese! Good prices for what you get and good service too. Will definitely return. read more

LARRY!! I went with my friend after a hard day of work and Larry gave me the best Friday night experience of my life. He was real, he was funny, he was amazing! Food was spectacular and the drinks were superb. WOULD COME AGAIN FR!!! read more

Love love Cira!! One of my other favorites in West Loop after Girl & the Goat. The staff/services are always nice here and the food as well. Love the decor and vibe - not loud at all. It's not pricy at all and I feel very well worth it especially with the location. For brunch you have to try the Turkish breakfast. For dinner the oyster mushroom is very good. Everything else is just as great but these two are my top 2 for now. read more

Food and ambiance was excellent, service was sub par. Waiter would not give suggestions when asked, put order in incorrectly and disappeared for long periods read more

Called ahead on a Sunday to see if we needed reservations for 2 and they gladly were accepting walk-ins. Checked out the menu for Cabra (rooftop upstairs) but ended up liking the selection better at Cira for dinner. Ordered the Mackerel "Taramasalata" and Octopus to start. Flavors were great and not typical. Then ordered their take on a Caesar salad and the Buffalo Ricotta pasta. Pasta portion was very small than what we had in mind with 10 little balls of soft pasta but the flavors were worth it. Can't go wrong with a unique Caesar. I'm a light eater so these options were fine with me. But you're looking for larger portions, this might not be the place. Server was great, knowledgeable and not overbearing - I am one to enjoy service that is more seamless and under the radar. Big points for clearing plates right away and crumbing the table. Separates average service from better restaurants. Beautiful venue, great for lowlight intimate settings for dates or get togethers. Lots of Italian and Spanish wines. Didn't try cocktails but will have to next time. The food did not blow me away tremendously but I'm not trying to knock it at all, it was delicious. There's just so much competition in Chicago, hence the 4 stars. Perhaps I need to order different things. Would recommend and would come back! read more

Cira - Smoked Mackerel "Taramasalata" Grilled Octopus - Mediterranean Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Loved the open layout and casual but beautiful bustling vibe. The food was below mediocre. Portions small and cold. Overpriced for what it was. The service was lovely, but if a restaurant doesn't make and present good food, what's the point? Everything else is secondary. read more

Beautiful space, amazing COVID standards, wonderful food. Only weird thing that there was a dog inside the venue. I didn't care I just wasn't aware animals were allowed in food venues. I thought that might be a health code violation . But everything was perfect!!! More places should follow in their place down to the pastry bag you are handed to put your mask in. Amazing job guys read more

Went on a Thursday night for drinks and dinner. The interior is gorgeous, and the wait staff was very attentive. Although the drinks were good, the general consensus among us was that they were probably a little over-priced (for some of us they were just as expensive as our main course). While the pasta dishes were on the smaller side, they were a perfect amount of food when paired with the hummus appetizer. The pistachio ravioli was a definite stand-out. Overall, I would definitely eat here again, but it does not rise to the top when compared to all of the other great offerings in Fulton Market. read more

Slow service. Good ambiance but the music doesn't quite match the identity of the restaurant. We had hummus with brown butter and pita which was really good. Falafel was crispy and well seasoned. Burrata was very bland. read more

Went around dinner time. Had the brown butter hummus (7/10) with house pita bread (10/10) and the scallops (10/10). Ambience was nice, played great music and our waitress was so nice. The cocktails were delicious as well. Downside was trying to find parking (typical for Chicago ) read more

Great food, great ambiance and great service! Had there challah bread French toast and omg it felt like a warm hug from the inside, the orange zest marmalade took me back to my childhood!! Compliments to the chef Tried the Shakshuka as well and they have there own unique twist to it, loved it! Definitely a must try if you're in the area! read more

Came for dinner on a Friday night and this place was buzzing! Pistachio ravioli is a must try. Service was great. The dining space is very chic. read more

I came her for lunch. The hostess stand and staff are extremely unorganized here. We went without it a reservation and it wasn't that busy and ended up waiting an hour. It was 100 not worth it. The food is not good at all. I had the chicken pita. Had no taste at all and just ended u eating the side. Their service is even worse, received my food without silverware and before they even gave me a glass water or my drink that I ordered way before the entree. They had so many tables open too but sat us in the community table with other parties. I wasn't even able to flag down the waiter to bring us a check and had to go to the hostess stand. Definitely by far the worst experience I had with a restaurant in the city. Especially at the prices they charge. read more

Don't quite understand why this restaurant was a Bib Gourmand recipient. Went there for lunch, ordered the Tuna Provencial and nothing special. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. It's in a hotel and the atmosphere seems like a hotel restaurant which is a bit of a turn off. I might give it another try but I think there are better options in the crowded restaurant space of Fulton Market. read more

One of, if not, the BEST dining interiors in the city. Seriously, if you only go here to bask in the glory of the turquoise accents and potted plants, you'll be very satisfied. The menu is pretty well-rounded and the coffee bar is spectacular. Great place for brunches or WFH days as their seating is very laptop friendly. Check it out! read more

Pistachio ravioli was amazing and our server was great. A little overpriced but the food was worth it. Cocktail (secret garden) was tiny but amazing! Beautiful hotel also. read more

Ate here last night. It was kinda on a whim. A friend had a family member in town and they wanted to go to a nice place. We settled on this place due to its Mediterranean/Turkish cuisine. The menu was really interesting and it was difficult to order due to the variety of items available. We tried the flounder (small dish), the quail (medium dish), and the chicory salad (medium dish) and all were good. We were still hungry so we also tried the desert, and those were really good as well! The olive ice cream with tahini paste was good along with the rhubarb ice cream and goat cheese cream dish. Overall, I thought the service was really good when we attended. The presentation of the food was nice and the waiter alway made sure our glasses were never empty with a drink. The restaurant setting was really nice and contemporary looking as well. Lastly, getting to the restaurant wasn't to difficult as well as we simply took the green line in from the loop. However, I have to warn you that their portions are small and a bit pricy so if you value quantity over quality then this place might not be your thing. I tend to be one of those kinds of people. However, this was a nice change of pace as everything we tried, although small in portions were really really tasty. It might be a nice place to go for business or if you have special company in town, but it wouldn't be a place I go all the time. read more

My boyfriend and I went there for brunch. We had a lovely time and food was great. The place has such a nice, relaxed vibe too it.

Love you but... You are always busy and you charge a premium for drinks. Why do you continue to tack on an additional charge? It started as a Covid fee and has evolved to a "benefits fee"... GET OUTTA HERE! Stop gouging your customers. It is beneath you. Yes we can ask it to be removed but why should we have to? Come on... read more

They no longer do a Turkish breakfast. Food was okay, but we went there for a Turkish breakfast and were a little disappointed. Savory food was good. Moist falafel burger. Raspberry coffee cake was dry and had a very underwhelming raspberry taste. Atmosphere was good. Service was great! read more

My husband and I went to Cira for his birthday. It was a big disappointment! We had the Turkish breakfast, Shakshuka and the French toast. The Turkish breakfast came with one piece of cold Sumait bread and tiny portions of jam, olives, cheese and an extremely cold poached egg. The shakshuka was made with tons of spices that don't go well with the dish and it smelled like fish. We don't know why :/ I know this isn't how shakshuka is made. The French toast was okay. read more

Limited but awesome breakfast/brunch menu. Nothing you haven't seen before but everything has been elevated to the next level. We tried the Shakshuka and the French Toast. The Shakshuka had a complex flavor reminiscent of fragrant indian spices. I had to ask for extra bread to soak up all that goodness. The french toast with pistachios was out of the world. It was closer to a dessert than a breakfast which gets extra points in my book. It was drenched in this fragrant condensed milk that I could drink straight out of a gravy bowl. All in all an excellent experience. I'll be back for sure. PS. The coffee was pretty decent too ;) read more

I can't wait to go back. The food was great, had a ton of flavor and most of the portions were pretty substantial. The restaurant was packed on Friday night giving it a fun vibe without being too noisy to hold a conversation - perfect for a date or dinner with friends. The service was very attentive without being overbearing. When we go back we will absolutely ask for Bruce because he upped the experience - great recommendations, descriptions of the food and a really nice guy. read more

I took my niece there for her 60th birthday dinner. We arrived about 6pm and the place was hopping. I told the hostess what we were celebrating and she said she would tell the server. I had been her once previously, but it was her first time. We waited for our drinks for about a half hour. our food came first. The service was underwhelming. There was no silverware at the table, we asked for some when the waiter brought the meal and had to ask again for napkins. Very disappointing. The upside was the food. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The pistachio ravioli were melt-in your mouth good, the dates with goat cheese were also unlike anything I've had. The brown butter hummus with really flavorful naan also was a favorite . The long awaited drinks were nothing special, and the waiter never even wished my niece happy birthday or made an effort to make her feel special. I called later that evening and left a message on the voicemail to speak to a manager with regards to the poor service, and asked them to return the call, and they never did. Does not make me feel like I want to return. read more

It's fine. Maybe I would have liked it more if I hadn't already eaten at Cabra. Went to celebrate a birthday lunch, which was noted on the reservation. I also told the hostess. Saw someone else get a candle. But not for us. Very disappointing. Server was inattentive. Went for restaurant week only to find out they decided not to offer than menu that day. Asked if we could have the mezze platter, which might not have been available. Server came back and told us yes, we can....but only after she had already served our food. Come on lady, why would we want apps now after you have served our entree? Strike two. Food was not memorable. Ancient grain bowl had waaay too many raw onions. An absurd amount of onions. Everything else was fine. But with so many brunch options (even in that building) why spend money on mediocre food and substandard service? I won't be doing that again. read more

This place is beyond gorgeous, upscale classy, we came in for a brunch/ lunch, my husband had mentioned it was our anniversary and they gave us complimentary champagne which I thought was great! The food is bomb, and was a lot better than I would have expected, we ordered hummus,m it came with 2 pieces of fresh pita bread, ravioli (literally mouth watering good), and shashuka , every thing was great, we ordered a extra piece of pita bread to dip in all the ravioli sauce shashuka and they only charged 1$. The service was great, love that they take covid precautions very seriously, and our waiter was nice and personable! I got the coffee as well, which I will pass on next time go and stick to their champagne! Highly recommend! read more

This place is an absolute gem! Great ambiance inside and our waiter was a great! I wish I would have gotten her name because she was awesome. We came here for Mother's Day and had brunch. We started with the Cinnamon Morning Bun which is a must have before your main course comes out. So soft and not overly sweet. For my main meal I had the Challah French Toast. I dug in and finished every last bite! So unfortunately I couldn't take a photo of my meal before hand. But it was great and my mom absolutely loved it from the look of it to the food. Definitely will be coming back to try the Dinner Menu. read more
