I really like the concept of Bar Tutto in terms of how they are trying to mimic the all-day cafes in Italy. I came by for their cafe portion on a Wednesday afternoon and had a lovely experience! The ambiance is very bright and open-air, which was lovely for getting some work done on a sunny day. They had a good amount of seating both inside and outside, with solid Internet and outlets throughout. I got the Banana Cruffin and Cortado. The cruffin was yummy but very sweet--it got too heavy with all of the cream near the end. I did enjoy the banana flavor, but I think it could have done with less cream on top. The cortado was just okay. I felt like the espresso quality was poor, and it was super overpriced. The service was fine; I felt that the employees could have been friendlier, but they were at least efficient. All in all, I would come back just because of how much I liked the study environment, but I think the other elements are more forgettable.

First off, love how open and spacious this spot is and appreciate the option the all-day cafe. Service was attentive and so many options to choose from on the menu. I am not a huge fan of pasta but can appreciate that these were hand made, I thought the noodles were prepared well not too mushy and sauces were flavorful but not too heavy, well balanced. My standout dish was the mortadella sandwich, I'm a sucker for a cold cut sandwhich and the bun was perfect with this. We all ordered some lemonade with a shot of gin which were pretty sweet, we had to ask our waiter if they had forgotten to add the gin.

I'm so glad I tried this new restaurant, I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. I thought it was really cool how they had a cafe in the front, I would definitely come back to get some work done here. We had a reservation so we were seated promptly. Our server was so nice and gave us a rundown of the menu since this was our first time here. I ended up getting the Porchetta Schiacciata which was such an amazing sandwich. I've never had anything like it before, the pickled red onion and Calabrian chili aioli really brought the sandwich together. Overall, I would definitely come back again, especially for that sandwich and to try their other dishes!

The place is much nicer than I expected from the outside. However, the food is just okay. My matcha tasted more like milk. Cold brew was fine, but sadly had better at the Capital One cafe. The burger would have been fine but the cheese is so weird. The classic Benedict needed a lot more hollandaise. Service was good. I think they probably do pastries best. They looked good in the display case.

Had dinner with my girls on a Friday night. The spot is beautiful and the service was great. Your entire party needs to be there to be seated, but waiting at the bar is an option. Our food was delicious and we got great recommendations from the waiter. Will need to return to try the dessert!

Tutto Breakfast - 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrown, tigelle

Bar Tutto in the West Loop is such a fun spot, and we had the best experience going for breakfast. It felt like one of those places you walk into and immediately know you are going to enjoy your time there. The energy was great right away, and it just set the tone for the whole meal. We ordered the Pancake with whipped butter and maple syrup along with the Tutto Breakfast, which came with two eggs, bacon, a hash brown, tigelle, a chocolate chip cookie, and a cake donut. Everything we tried was so good and honestly felt like the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The pancake was such a classic but done really well, and the Tutto Breakfast felt like you were getting a little bit of everything, which made it even more fun to share and try. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overwhelming. They made everything feel easy and enjoyable, which always makes such a difference when you are out to eat. The atmosphere is what really stood out to me. The restaurant is lively in the best way and has that kind of buzz where you feel like you are part of something going on, but it is still comfortable enough to sit and relax. It is such a great spot to catch up with people or just enjoy a slower breakfast. Overall, it was such a great experience, and definitely somewhere I would go back to. If you are in the West Loop and looking for a breakfast spot with great food, amazing service, and a fun vibe, I would absolutely recommend checking this place out.

This was such a cute vibe! It's restaurant meets cafe! So difference experiences depending on when you go. The razor clams were very unique. Everyone raves about the pesto but I felt like it was pretty simple and needed salt. Service was super great. Would go back for the cafe experience during lunch.

Had a good lunch here! The vibe is super cute and lively, perfect for a quick catch up and lunch. Everything tasted fresh and well done, classic Italian café energy with a little polish. Service was friendly and the atmosphere made it easy to want to stay awhile. Not quite a "blown away" moment, but definitely good and I'd happily come back to try more of the menu.

Bar tutto came in hot and is definitely one of my favorite new spots i tried in chicago this year the food, the drinks, and the ambiance were all top tier ... and i really loved the interior decor, open kitchen, and table layout of the restaurant. it felt almost parisian, even though the menu featured more creative italian dishes started with the roasted carrot salad - highly, highly recommend! "salad" is not doing the dish justice...the date vinaigrette, crushed pistachios, orzo, and burrata in the center added so many layers of flavors and textures to the vegetarian dish, so yum! radiatore is becoming my favorite pasta shape and bar tutto's fennel sausage version didn't disappoint. creamy, salty, and very umami - i added pepper just because but honestly the dish was great on its own. bavette steak took me by surprise. when i saw it on the menu, i expected a standard steak frites. however, it came with the steak sliced and plated on top of the thin fries, with a peperonata sauce / gravy ladled over. The sauce was fantastic, and gave the traditional steak frites dish a fun twist. the gravy-like sauce over the fries felt almost like a poutine . there was also a garlic aioli on the side which added an element of creaminess to the dish ended the night with their toffee cheesecake. very well balanced and not too sweet. the cake was rich and creamy, and with the crunchiness from the graham cracker crumbs on top as well as the nuttiness from the toffee swirls on top, it just kept me going back for more. spoonful after spoonful. special shoutout to their pecorino white wine - best glass of white i've had in a while! definitely coming back to try their brunch next time!

West Loop keeps expanding with new spots, so I decided to try this one slightly away from the busy Randolph Street strip. The area itself is quieter, but surprisingly, the inside was very loud--so loud that we had to almost scream to talk. We eventually left to find a quieter place to hang out. I understand it leans more toward a bar vibe, but it felt excessively loud and also a bit cold inside. That said, it's probably a good spot for drinks if you tend to get warm. Food-wise, it was solid. Service was excellent. The pasta was slightly undercooked but still flavorful, and the lobster was fresh. The cod was just okay, and the artichokes were a bit too burnt. I did enjoy the thin-cut French fries--those were great. The green tea stood out as well, not your typical tea bag and not overly strong. The carrot salad was just okay, but interestingly prepared and easy to share.

I really loved Bar Tutto. Interesting cocktails and great food. My reason for docking a star was the service. The waiter was MIA at times and the meal just took way too long in general.

Beautiful interior space and knowledgeable staff at Bar Tutto. Restaurant recently opened and I enjoyed the concept. Drinks were really good with a nice selection of cocktails and beer. The food itself was pretty standard but tasty. I recommend the roasted carrot salad along with the sausage and mushroom crostino to start. The fusilli was delicious but the rigatoni was a bit chewy and not al dente. Overall an enjoyable meal so give this new spot a try! Pro Tip; the restaurant has a cafe area serving coffee drinks during the day.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

The outside had a light coating of sugar that gave it just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Once I bit into it, the inside was soft, airy, and slightly chewy from the sourdough, which made it different from a regular donut. There was a subtle tang from the sourdough that balanced the sweetness really well, so it never felt overly sugary. It had a light crispness on the outside, then a warm, pillowy center that practically melted away with each bite. I finished it way faster than I expected. Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. I know it sounded silly, but I enjoyed chewing these coconut flakes and they were good palate cleansers! The presentation was da bomb as well. The only reason that I couldn't give five stars to "Stockyard" was limited seating. The place was super cute, but there were only 3 tables and less than 4 high chair seating against the windows, plus some outdoor seating on the pedestrian walkway. The laptop users were respectfully directed to sit at the windows and outlets were available. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable.
