Ok so they bring out fresh hot pita and it's heavenly. The pistachio ravioli is bom. Their hummus is creamy and yum. Tuna tar tar was good I was told by my friend. I just wish they would bring back the spread sampler platter. Love this place and the vibe read more

I know it is Covid, but two drinks and an order of fries took over an hour? I do not know if they were under staffed or under trained, but there were not that many people here for this level of bad. read more

Very fun and active bar scene on a Friday. However, Cira falls short as a restaurant. Here is what happened: First, we ordered tilefish. It was our third course but about 20 after we ordered the waiter approached us with the news that they had run out of tilefish -- would we instead like the swordfish. Hmm. Second, we ordered a calamari and shrimp dish. It arrived without the calamari, because they were also out of calamari. The waiter said, "it's should still be good - nobody eats the calamari anyway." Hilarious. I share these tidbits because mistakes like that should never happen at a well run, popular restaurant. The food we did get was good -- pistachio ravioli, excellent; beet salad, very good; olives, excellent; mushrooms, average. Good luck!!! read more

Great ambiance and beautiful decor. I ate brunch here with a friend and they had good options available for reasonable prices.

Awesome atmosphere, great food and service too. Entrees are smaller portions and don't come complete with sides but hummus starter is a must anyway (beef carpaccio was good too). read more

First time here, take note dogs are maybe allowed (I saw at least two). Service was very good, and my friends enjoyed the Turkish Breakfast and the Breakfast Sandwich. However, my biggest issue was bread. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, but this could have been made up with some bread to soak up the sauce of my Breakfast Skillet. My friend had the shakshuka and needed far more bread than came with it. The burger another friend had was completely burned. The pastries were so delicious, please give more carbs with your sauce-heavy dishes. read more

We visited Chicago the week of Fourth of July and were lucky enough to get a reservation on a busy Wednesday night. The service was fantastic! We were seated immediately and greeted by several servers and the manager. The drink menu had some seasonal options on it that complimented our food items. All the food that came to our table was delicious and memorable. I would go back again and again. read more

I like to start with the positives: Really cute atmosphere the decor and everything was really lovely and styled very well. The service was pretty good and they were very COVID conscious. The negatives: I go to restaurants to eat. I usually go hungry because, you know, I'm about to eat. So it is immensely disappointing when the food is so bad that you leave still hungry. I went here last night with my girl friend and we ordered the Cauliflower as a starter to share. It was okay, but when they say small plates, believe them. They're SMALL. I ordered the Cesar salad and asked to add chicken for $6 extra. For a grand total of a $20 for this salad. I get the salad and the chicken was cold. Right out of the fridge cold. So yeah, I got leftover chicken on my $20 salad. Cool. I tried to eat it and be a good sport because my friend chose the spot but even as I picked around the $6 cold chicken, the dressing was sour and vinegar-y to the point where I was holding my breathe as I took a bite to brace myself for the yucky, potent taste. I ate barely any of it and my friend teased me about saying how starving I was even though I ate very little of my meal. I laughed along, still starving. It just sucks to split a $100 tab for dinner and then have to stop and pick up and actual meal on the way home. Takeaway is this: Cute atmosphere, great if you're just there for an Instagram backdrop. But eat before you come unless you love feeling ripped off. read more

Staff is inconsiderate and unprofessional. Spent my last half hour dining with staff vacuuming the booths and seats around us. Loud and incredibly annoying. Not a good place if you like to have a conversation while dining. Also the waitress pressured us to close the tab in the middle of our meal so that she could receive her tip before her shift ended and transferred the table. Would not recommend this restaurant. read more

We enjoyed our dinner at Cira very much. The menu options areblimited but unique. Pestachio ravilo is very innovative! I loved the piri piri dorade, and I really enjoyed the strawberry mille feuille. The service was good. Music was a little loud. read more

We went during Chicago restaurant week and went with the special menu for the week. My favorites were the hummus, falafel, chocolate banana turmeric dessert and morrocan lamb. Service was great, our server was on point! Cocktails were very good. There was a live DJ the night we dined, so it was loud and we found ourselves yelling to talk. read more

Stunning space, acceptable food and indifferent service. Just not a winning formula.

Came here for brunch with three others, we weren't too hungry so we decided to do family sharing. The mezze platter was a crowd winner, so many flavors, warm pita bread, light but filling! The orange marmalade on the challah French toast was also divine. The ambience was also really cool, would highly recommend! read more

The piri piri pita with chicken is killer! Would absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Great food. Atmosphere is very busy- party atmosphere. A little loud for my taste but could be fun. Good food and service

Ok this is 3rd time here this week cause my friend is in the hotel. Some of the worst service I've had. I'm not sure why as it seems like there are always staff. I'm basing this rating on not one time but 3 separate experience where I was seated and then staff just leaves or you are ready to get check but it's impossible to waive any of them down. Food is good but overall experience not worth it read more

My husband, 11 month old and I went to Cira tonight for dinner and it was a great experience. We ordered 6 dishes total and 4 glasses of wine our total was $155. The food was amazing! The manti, and lamb tagine were our favorite. Our server Monique made us feel so special , the manager also stoped by our table to check in. The service that we experience, as well as being able to accommodate our baby was memorable. I will be telling everyone to come, as well as coming back for brunch myself. read more

Came back recently and the music was great, definitely not loud anymore. The staff here are very friendly and cocktails are delicious!

Super impressed with this place. I thought it would your typical upscale Mediterranean place which your normal dishes... but this restaurant is definitely unique. Each dish we got had such a creative flavor explosion. I highly recommend the pistachio ravioli. The rock shrimp pasta dish was also good, more on the savory style. The brown butter hummus was also fantastic. I was expecting your typical hummus dish but the add-ons made a huge difference! read more

Excellent food- great options and variety. Veggie meat fish!. Great atmosphere. Had lots of fun! Fun vibe

The food is AMAZING ..morning, noon and night! We popped in this time for avocado toast and a cocktail to celebrate the sunny day. Loving the chow, music and service. Aldo and Jarran, you are the best and make it look easy! read more

DELICIOUS! We were a large party and were seated next to the kitchen. The hummus was fabulous because they garnished it so nicely so it had so many different flavors and was better than just plain old boring hummus. The falafel is super crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. It was very tasty. Their salads are very very tasty. Spinach ravioli with pistachio fantastic and very rich in flavor. The service was awesome! read more

Delicious lunch. Got the hummus which is probably the best I've had. Also got curried duck sandwich which was very good and different. Looking forward to going back for dinner. read more

Simply amazing! We ordered the olives (with an incredible lavender honey sauce), quail, pickled veggies (the fennel makes the difference), pistachio ravioli, hummus, smoked mackerel with crackers, and the razor clams. Everything was delectable. The ambiance is casual and modern, with dark lighting. We also ordered the chocolate creme brûlée and the honey dessert. We loved both of them and will likely be back! Can't miss this place. Amazing service and top of the line food. read more

Dinner for five people took over two hours. Server told us that the amount of appetizers we ordered was pretty light, but by the time entrees arrived two hours later we were too full and ready to leave. Was also never asked if I wanted another drink and no apologies for food taking forerver read more

Came here for dinner a on a Friday night. I had reservations and had to change not only the amount of people (add 2) and then later the time (later in the evening.) On both occasions that I called staff was very helpful and kind with my changes and I really appreciated that. When we arrived for my wife's birthday for our party of six we were seated at their kitchen table and had menus that said happy birthday on them. Both of those were very nice touches. We ate and drank like gluttons and not only was the food phenomenal... I think we may have had everything on the menu. The bill at the end of the night was very reasonable. I will certainly be back for dinner for just the wife and I and will also use this as a go to for when I have people in town. Thanks for a great night! read more

I visited Cira for Sunday brunch. Food was good (not great by any means), ambiance was nice, service was a bit lacking. We had to flag our waitress down multiple times and other tables around us had to do the same. Overall a good experience and I would be back. read more

Very cool ambiance, service was above and beyond. Our table wasn't ready so the manager gave us a free round of drinks while we were waiting for our table. The short ribs were delicious but the appetizers and dessert were nothing great. It's worth visiting once but next time, I'll be trying a different place. read more

I went to #Cira the other night and shared great company while eating good food. The meal was selected and served family-style. I can't remember all that we had, but I #yelped the restaurant and decided earlier that I would order lamb. No lamb was served, but they did serve the dry aged ribeye and a salmon with skin so crisp it crunched like Lay's potato chips. We also had a white fish that was sliced so thin it looked like rice paper...it was DELICIOUS...and I don't know what it was!!! There was also a fish dip that I couldn't turn away with hearty chunks of mackerel!! I tried my hand at the classic Manhattan, but couldn't bring myself to finish it. I am not a drinker and anything that warms your chest is too grown a drink for me...water please! The host was gracious enough to order ME the brown butter humus, another dish I really wanted to try...unfortunately, everyone else at the table thought it was phenomenal as well and I only got a spoonful. I wasn't disappointed although I really wanted to try the Manti (lamb dumplings) or the lamb tagine. I noticed a waitress with a beautiful smile and a "I LAMB button. I wondered if she would give it to me! She did! Dessert wasn't my favorite. Although, according to #FoodNetwork, dessert doesn't have to be sweet, l prefer my desserts sweet. There were notes of basil, thyme, and cardamom that I just couldn't appreciate! I will visit Cira again, have the brown butter humus and lamb, and enjoy a drink more suitable for a lightweight!! Still don't have the courage to try the #shakshuka! read more

Pretty much loved everything on the menu from this place. The food was a little slow to come out, but it didn't bother our party. I will definitely try to come back and see whats on their rotating menu. read more

This is a contemporary upper scale place in the downtown area. A sort of Mediterranean/American fusion. You can do a variety of small plates, which I recommend, or large plate entrees. Of our choices, the piri piri whitefish was the standout. Extremely interesting flavors. Second were the warm stuffed dates. Everything was good, although the flank steak was too salty. I will definitely return. $250 for four of us. read more

The food was great, the hummus is to die for, but the service by Francisco was top tier. I highly recommend this place, and will definitely come back when I'm here to visit. read more

Visited Cira on a Tuesday evening. Valet since parking can be tricky at times and it was raining. The place is absolutely gorgeous, especially by the bar area with high ceilings. We were seated away from the bar (bummer) which was nice but I stared at the gorgeous high ceilings with envy. We ordered brown butter hummus, octopus, and pistachio ravioli. All was delicious! The octopus was tender and so fresh, the humus was tasty, and the pistachio ravioli was to die for. Service was excellent and the wine list was pretty good. I will definitely come back for breakfast or brunch with the family :) read more

French toast with orange marmalade and shakshuka were tasty and hearty. Recommend those! Service was friendly and prompt considering pandemic labor shortage. Prepare for some noise during Sunday brunch. read more

Great service and atmosphere. Super cool neighborhood as well. It's a little pricey but very good. I would do the humus every day of my life. We just got a bunch of food to share and it was a great idea. I would for sure recommend doing that. I hope to be back soon! read more

I'll start by saying the food was excellent. But I would not recommend this place for a larger group. The tables for larger parties are huge squares, and right next to the very noisy bar. We couldn't have a conversation with half of our party without actually yelling. So if you're a group of four or less, I'd definitely recommend. read more

I had Turkey Breakfast, my partner had pancake. They were amazing! My partner hates yogurt. She doesn't like the milky smell from yogurt. However, the yogurt in that Turkey Breakfast, she loves it! That was super surprise for me! Pancake, hmmm... Don't blame me, I'm from NYC. I've had different kinds of fluffy, thick Japanese type of pancake before. This is not the best for me, but it's good enough. Good for photos. The design of the restaurant is perfect for Vloggers. It's really pretty. Highly recommends coming in pretty clothes. read more
