Cinnaholic - Very Berry Roll. Frosting melted a little on the drive home. Still delicious! - Bakeries Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

"The maple cinnamon roll was absolutely amazing -- perfectly soft, rich with flavor, and just the right amount of sweetness. Truly unforgettable!" read more

Overall, we found Cinnaholic to be a decadently good spot. My family is more the purist type when it comes to cinnamon rolls, however you can choose from a large variety of frosting types and toppings to adorn yours. Based on the menu board and displays we saw, people go a little crazy! My boys and I enjoyed our "Old Skool Roll" but felt like they were lacking a bit in cinnamon, and we felt that the frosting was overly buttery. My husband tried the Maple Pecan Pie roll. I only had one bite but I really liked it! Curse him- he always makes the best menu choices! I should always follow his lead. The workers in the shop were extremely helpful and friendly, so if we have another cinnamon roll craving I'm sure we'll be back. read more

I've always had great service, and it is yummy. I especially enjoy the scoop of cookie dough.

The kids and I woke up one morning craving cinnamon rolls. After looking online I discovered Cinnaholic. After looking at the beautiful pictures on their yelp page I decided on the mad batter and the classic as well as strawberry with chocolate chips and sprinkles. When I got home and opened the boxes this is what I got. Ok I'm not a baker but when I look at the picture compares to what I got it certainly does not look the same. The mad batter was close but the other two looked very sloppy. And I barely saw any sprinkles. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed. The reason for my 3 star rating instead of lower is because they actually tasted pretty good. So that helped their rating. read more

I saw an advertisement on Facebook and have been excited to try this place out! Service was great. The cashier was friendly and gathered our cinnamon rolls promptly. There are a lot of options of cinnamon rolls, drinks and few other items. We tried some seasonal options, along with tiramisu and original. My family and I thought they were good, but were expecting larger rolls and greatness. Maybe, I waited too long to go and expected too much. In addition, it's a bit expensive...over $5 per roll. We may go back if in the area, but I'm not rushing back. read more

This place is great if you like cinnamon rolls. If you desire toppings on your cinnamon roll then this place is perfect for you. You can either order what they have already came up with, or you can make your own. I usually end up adding waaaayyy to many toppings to the point that it just becomes an abomination, literally. They have so many great toppings its hard to even decide how I want my cinnamon roll to taste which is why I end up with a "everything" cinnamon roll. I'd definitely say go for a certain type of taste your looking for when ordering. Such as, white chocolate with raspberries, or caramel with pecans. You know, that type of thing? Taste wise? I'd still say a cinnamon roll at Cinnabon tastes better. (No hate, I love all sweets) But let's keep in mind I'm a sugar feen so I like my cinnamon roll to put me in a sugar coma. If your not like me then this would be a definite first place for you. This is a great second place for me considering there isn't much Cinnabons around anymore. The cinnamon rolls here are a little more dense and dry then Cinnabons are. (I like my cinnamon rolls coated) Not by too much but enough where I can tell the difference between the two. They are also not as gooey and soft as Cinnabons cinnamon rolls are. They were super busy. We came after an event that was held downtown in Chandler super hungry and craving them. But I digress. Its worth a try, super asethically pleasing and great if you have a sweet tooth. Customer service was fantastic too. The girl running the cashier drawers was a sweetie. Not too much seating inside so something to think about if they appear busy. There is some seating outside and depending on the time of the year would be useful. read more

Called prior to going to see if they have gluten-free which they said we do... so We ordered the apples and cinnamon. They actually gave us apples and cinnamon with no cinnamon roll. If the employees don't know what it means when a customer asked for a gluten-free product you should hire employees of proper age. read more

My cinnamom roll was stale and the roll that my daughter ordered was not what was displayed. Further, the apples in the Apple Pie Roll were just cut up chilled apples, nothing like what you would find in an actual apple pie. read more

Got sent two cinnamon rolls from here on my birthday, Cookie Monster and OG. The OG was pretty delicious and the cookie monster was pretty decent too. Not sure what it was in the cookie monster that tasted a bit off and bitter, but if it wasn't for that I think I would have enjoyed it more. I was really surprised when they got here it was still fairly warm! I would stop by if I was near and grab another OG. read more

These cinnamon rolls are heavenly. Love that they are all vegan as well. I received these for my birthday and they were the perfect gift. Each roll is quite big and will leave you quite full. The frosting is thick and delicious. Enjoyed the strawberry roll as well as brownie one as I am a chocolate and fruit lover. Great spot with great vegan desserts. read more

Who knew there was no dairy...Not a soul. That sums it up really. You'd never know. Cinnaholic has the absolute best treats for your sweet tooth! I buy them by the dozen for bdays and celebrations. Not terrible by any means but have had many cinnamon rolls that blow this place away! I love cream cheese frosting but their frosting you could hardly tell it was cream cheese flavor.. was very disappointed by this however it's definitely better that the old skool icing. I think if you are gluten free and vegan then this would be great since you can't have the really good stuff. Also, they're quite expensive compared to way better ones so I don't see much point in coming back here unless I have a good coupon. read more

First things first, this place is Vegan, which is huge for my wife who can't eat dairy. They don't advertise it and you won't know it, they don't want to scare people away but we were thrilled to finds delicious desserts that contain zero dairy products. Now to the good stuff, we really loved everything we tried. The Amaretto icing stood out to me and I loved it, as did my wife who preferred mine over her traditional one. Adding raspberries gave some tart bites to break up the the sweet, it's almost to much otherwise. The almonds mainly added texture, which was nice. We also tried the cinnamon cookie and brownie and loved every bite. Be sure to sign up for their Facebook list for coupons so you can try more flavors. read more

Pretty cool idea. I'm not a huge cinnamon roll fan, but my family sure loved it. You get to choose toppings and make your own custom roll. Great location and the staff is very friendly. We will be back. read more

First time at Cinnaholic was not so bad. I tried the new pineapple dole whip which was good but a little overpriced for such a small portion $3.75. The cinnamon roll was an interesting taste. It could have had more cinnamon flavor but I think it was drowned out by all the toppings. I got the Cookie Monster which includes: chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, homemade cookie dough, cream cheese icing, and I added pecans. Overall 4/5 you can make your own or choose a specialty cinnamon roll. read more

I tried one of these for the first time and just got the Old Skool classic cinnamon roll. I thought it was good, but nothing really special about it. I thought it was really lacking in the cinnamon department. I imagine if you are a vegan then it's probably the best you'll find. But, I'm not a vegan and I'd gladly take a Cinnabon over one of these any day of the week. The service was really good and they have a ton of topping choices for your cinnamon roll. If you plan on eating in, it's a pretty small space and a bit cramped. It's a one and done for me. read more

No I'd rather get Cinnabon , the only thing this place above Cinnabon is their creative ideas, I thought the icing on top was supposed to be cream cheese and powdered sugar ?? Super sweet , sickly sweet. It's just w.e for the price I'd rather make this myself read more

This place is a trek from Central Phoenix, but it's worth the drive! For my first time I tried the original roll and a build your own with caramel and pecans. The rolls were soft, fresh and super delicious! You wouldn't know unless you looked it up beforehand, but everything is VEGAN! I'm guessing they don't plaster it around since some people wouldn't venture to try it because of that... The next time I'm on this side of town, I'm definitely stopping at Cinnaholic. read more

Cinnaholic is bringing plant based, build your own cinnamon rolls to the masses! Located right in the heart of gilbert at San Tan village is cinnaholic! They offer baked goods like cookies, brownies and most importantly cinnamon buns! You start with your base bun and then choose your frosting. The frosting ranges from traditional to your less traditional like peanut butter or marshmallow. Then you add your toppings like oreos, pretzels, fruits and other fun treats and it is done!! The treats were sweet but it was absolutely delicious! I got the peanut butter frosting, with peanut butter cups, oreos and bananas with a side of marshmallow frosting! Best part is that it is all plant based. They even made the peanut butter cups in house. So now vegan friends and non vegan friends have somewhere they can eat dessert where everyone's needs are met! This is the first franchise in arizona and the business was on shark tank! Love the new business and cant wait to go back and try other flavor combinations! Grand opening is july 12th 2019 from 9am to 1pm, $1 buns, so go give them some love and welcome them to the gilbert area! read more

I was debating on going on their grand opening or not and decided to do it the following day. Inside was pretty warm, which was causing me to sweat and ignite my immune system when the first sweat droplet formed. But I bared through for this amazing cinnamon roll! My order was: Strawberry icing with Strawberries, Pecan, and caramel drizzle as my toppings. The bun is what really puts it all together. When pulling it apart it still has that doughy consistency, and once you put it in your mouth....It's heaven. Way better then cinnabon, but pricer. I do hope overtime they lower there prices a bit once they have a good cash flow going. I paid about $9 for my bon. read more

Upon walking in we were kindly greeted by staff and asked if we had ever been there before. The staff member explained what type of cinnamon buns they had and showed us the topping & frosting options for the build your own bun. My two friends and I sat on the patio, as the inside was pretty crowded (which is a good sign I believe). The cinnamon bun I had was delicious. I chose cake batter frosting, Oreo, and strawberries. My friends got the Cookie Monster and the classic. They enjoyed theirs as well. I will definitely be back. It was quite a drive from where I live but worth it! read more

First of all the name is genius! At first I was overwhelmed when I walked in because there were so many options. However, I was greeted nicely and the employee walked me through how to order. It wasn't too expensive for you get, which is a lot by the way. I ordered the Cookie cinnamon roll and couldn't eat all of it. The rolls come in to-go boxes so I could have taken it home. However, I was afraid that it was going to get soggy. The place is quaint and clean. There is seating outside which is nice. Water is also available without having to wait in line which is awesome because the rolls are sweet. I found out after the fact that this place was vegan and I couldn't tell the difference. Cinnamon rolls were pretty good. Got the classic with vanilla frosting. Everyone who tried a piece really enjoyed it. Wow. The things this place can come up with. I made my first visit since they opened and it was good. Hours slightly strange for a place serving a breakfast staple. They don't open till 9 am, we got there right at 9 and took about 15 minutes for the rolls to finish and be dressed in their toppings. Manager made the wait right with a nice treat on the house. It could be argued it's a dessert place with how Sweet the rolls are. I tried one of their case rolls the cookie dough roll and it was sweet but good. The wife didn't care for hers but I think it was a poor combo choice. The place is dairy free and vegan so there is a slight different taste at times. They also feature edible cookie dough which can be sold in prepackaged containers or fresh. Will definitely be back to try some more combos. read more
