Stopped by for the tmobile Tuesday promo. This was a hard find in the mall since it's not on the directory but the staff that picked up the phone provided great instructions. Upon arrival, I was addressed promptly and my order was placed. Within a few minutes I received my freebie. They were such cute bite sized buns! As for taste, I expected better. I've only had cinnamon buns from ikea and bakeries so my expectations were high and quite disappointed. You don't get the soft cinnamon layers with the best part being the middle with these but the frosting is melted! Maybe it's because it's small so the texture can't be reproduced. I can't say it was worth the calories but the staff were great!

This is their largest cinnamon roll.

The cinnamon rolls here are so good! The cinnamon rolls are warm and moist. They have a ton of size options and options for quick to gos too. Always fresh and all the employees seem to be in a good mood. This one in fashion Square is right by a little seating area which is nice because you are kind of far from the main eating area. So this has happened 3 times now, though I love their cinnamon rolls... they have literally started skimping on the frosting, which is definitely one of the best parts of Cinnabon! Every-time I go I have to order extra frosting. The last couple times the almost dollar scoop of frosting is half full which is annoying, you see full ones and don't want to sound annoying asking for a full one. Also 1 cinnamon roll is almost 7 dollars... I understand inflation but I don't understand upping the price and giving a customer half the amount of frosting and still charging more. Also I hate tipping on meals that they didn't do anything for! The whole tipping culture just getting a cinnamon roll or a pop... what am I giving you a dollar for. You didn't do anything special. You didn't go above and beyond. It makes everything awkward because they look at the receipt to see if the amount changed or not. Very awkward. I'm not saying I won't go back, but can we get a frosted cinnamon roll..

Have a meal at The Sicilian Butcher and then follow that up with dessert at The Sicilian Baker. There are several locations in town, with this one being in North Phoenix. On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Thursday. Parking tends to be busy in their complimentary lot, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid. In fact, all of the desserts I've had here over the years have been quite good.

I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. I have literally been thinking about that gelato since I left Phoenix. Luckily this company has locations in Texas so I will definitely be seeking out this gelato soon.

Love all the cake options too. Concept seems convenient where you can grab your individual tongs, tray and self-serve any and all the baked goods your heart desires. Prices are about standard for this economy ranging from $3-5. Nice that they'll heat the pastries up for you by request. They also offer a few coffee drink options. I'll be back for more the next time I pass by a shop!

This location is quite a large one with quite a bit of seating along with an organized line area to go upon arrival. I recently joined the loyalty program and tried something new this time. I was delighted by my visit. When I first walked in, I saw quite a number of customers deciding what to order while a number of them were already in line. There were also a number of employees working behind the registers helping customers. I walked around and looked at the self-serve section, the options behind the counter, and the menu. I decided to order a sourdough turkey melt. It came out nice and toasted and quite tasty. There was a wait until it was ready, but that was to be expected as it was weekend lunch-time. The employees were so helpful and walked me through how everything worked and how to come back and take advantage of special offers. You can learn more about Paris Baguette and this particular location at https://parisbaguette.com/locations/az/scottsdale/16495-n-scottsdale-road. It is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM.
