I've been to The Eleanor a few times over the two years, and I have always appreciated the good food and drinks and the great service and staff. It is conveniently located to my office and not too far of a drive from home. I have ordered food and drinks to enjoy while at the restaurant or outside as well as ordering food and drinks to go. While I enjoyed an outdoor event with a large group where we got a lot of food and drinks and each tried a bit of everything, I most recently placed a to-go order for The Wilbur Sandwich, which consisted of two fried eggs, bacon, ham, white cheddar, tomato jam, mayo on a brioche bun, served with breakfast potatoes. I asked for all bacon though. It was great! Next time, I'll have to get the eggs as scrambled. I placed the order at the bar, and it was ready in a very reasonable amount of time. I took the order well wrapped so that I could eat it in the office about 20 minutes later. It was still warm and very tasty! Parking lot in front is shared, same lot as Oliver's and other businesses. A hostess will seat you. Reservations are available through their website. Very casual atmosphere. Staff are in shorts and tshirts, walls are bare concrete block, seating is a mix of booth, table or counter plus outdoor patio. The menu includes small bites (avocado toast, etc.) eggs (omlet, benedict, etc.) and handhelds. Service was excellent. Coffee is quite good. Food is good quality and leans healthy (egg whites, turkey sandwich, etc.). Ladies room, at the back, has two stalls with full doors. No diaper station. They are modern and clean. Our order of two beverages, one handheld, one egg dish, plus tip came to just around fifty dollars. Totally worth it
Stopped by this cute spot while on vacation and we loved it enough to visit a second time before leaving Scottsdale! The restaurant is clean and modern and the service was great each time. We tried the banana bread latte, eggs benedict, and the steak and eggs burrito. Both of the dishes were great! The latte didn't really taste like banana bread but it was still good. Definitely worth a visit!
I always enjoy returning to The Eleanor--there's just something about this place that keeps me coming back! The B.O.F. is exactly what I need to wake me up and get the day going. I highly recommend it! And fear not the Avocado Toast! It comes with jam, but not just any ordinary jam. This jam has a flavor all its own and pairs beautifully with that perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg. That combination is one I simply can't get enough of! Another lovely visit to The Eleanor, and I'm already looking forward to returning.
Our flight was delayed and had to spend the night in Scottsdale. Skipped the hotel breakfast and headed to this wonderful place called The Eleanor. I loved the whole layout, decor, everything! It gives 70s vibes when life was carefree, warm, and personal. It felt like food was created with a lot of intention and love. Definitely not like your typical breakfast diner where they just give you a plate of breakfast food that tastes the same as every diner. This place is űber bright and cheery, has several seating options- tables, booth, and bar; and patio seating for cooler days. Today wasn't the day for us since it's 101°. Service reflects the warmth of the place. Our server was helpful and gave us time to look through the menu. Would love to come back next time I'm in town.
The Eleanor was delightful! Our server was very sweet. The espresso shot was just the right kick start for the day. The wild mushroom omelette was fantastic, I opted to have the balsamic on the side but ended up using every ounce of it. The vibe was super cute and gave "retro diner" vibes! Must visit for sure! We came a little over 30 minutes before closing (2pm) and they still seated us and served us which was really nice of them! I was debating between the chilaquiles and the chorizo y papas burrito. I got the chilaquiles before and had very little meat and only one egg, and the waitress talked me into getting the burrito, so I did. Chorizo y papas burrito was very dry. Both the hot sauces they brought were not my favorite so I was really struggling making the burrito moist. The fries inside tasted old and brittle. My fruit that came with it was not all ripe but was okay. The ricotta scramble toast my friend got was fine, she wished the bread had been more crunchy as it was hardly toasted and she could cut through it easily with a knife, kind of limp and soggy. And she said the chili oil was pretty spicy, but she knew that going into ordering it, so I won't dock points for that! Overall it was fine. Not blown away especially for the price.

We sat on the patio, which basically turned brunch into a perfect little vacation. The steak burrito was huge , big enough for two people .It came with fruit cups stacked with the freshest berries I've seen in a restaurant in ages. The mushroom omelette was amazing, and adding short ribs took it from great to fantastic. The country toast tasted like something straight out of a cozy farmhouse kitchen ,rustic and just really good. And then the cocktails. The menu calls them "wake‑up calls," but they should really be named "why we brunch!". Parking is easy, service is great, food comes out fast, and even though the menu is small, every item is appealing making choosing very hard. I will definitely be back.
Still enjoying coming here! I give the honey lavender latte five stars! I ordered it in 1/4 of the sweetness and it was absolutely perfect. The pancake with the maple butter! Pure heaven! We ordered one and shared it before our meals and finished it off for dessert. I enjoyed the breakfast hash. The short ribs were cooked perfectly -super tender. The roasted tomatoes were fragrant and sweet. I think the only thing I really didn't care for was all the liquid in the bowl and the wet potatoes. I suppose I could've just ordered something else then? The roasted potatoes are the best anywhere. They have that nice firm crisp on the outside and piping hot goodness on the inside they are seasoned well! I'd probably be OK just ordering some eggs with the potatoes on the side. Service was great and the hostesses at the front are always so friendly!
Lovely girly ambiance ...... it's so pretty inside Loved the dates toast and a unique dish with balance flavor highly recommended . Churro toast is good too...... service was quick but ensure you would have 30-40 mins easily so plan ahead.
Cute patio and interior. I ordered the breakfast hash. It was delicious! They have lots of fun latte and coffee options in the menu along with breakfast cocktails. Expect a short wait if you are going on the weekend.
For a minute, I thought I got transported to Palm Springs! I finally "woke up" from my dream when I drove to Scottsdale Fashion Square after within 10 minutes lol! The service was about 2 minutes too slow, but I looked back at the experience and wondered if I was just used to being rushed out because other breakfast restaurants always want to seat one more round of guests before closing. I couldn't resist and ordered a honey lavender matcha. Thank goodness it didn't taste like soap. The egg white scramble is more filling than expected in a good way. My husband's breakfast sandwich was loaded with crispy bacon and it elevated the sandwich to the next level! The roasted potatoes were very well seasoned too! I must also mention that both the red and green hot sauces are amazing. I like the green one more, but I know it's debatable. Arizona doesn't deserve this place. I might have just found the perfect menu for my birthday brunch in the fall! I'll be back very soon!
My hesitant to post a review is strictly selfish! This place is busy enough as is!! On our most recent visit, we sat at the bar for the first time with "Holly" tending bar. She was absolutely incredible! From the drinks to our entrees, everything was amazing! The food was over the top! We have yet to be disappointed. IMO.... if you're into quality and scratch made product, Eleanor's will be your new home for breakfast/brunch! Kudos to the staff the staff/owners at The Eleanor! Cya soon!

Everyone really enjoyed The Eleanor! The food was delicious, the menu had a ton of options, and everyone at our table finished their plates -- always a good sign. My favorite part was definitely the atmosphere. It's so green and lush, which is honestly a rare find in Arizona. I loved how tucked away it felt despite its location, and the mix of indoor and outdoor seating was perfect. The interior is bright, modern and fun, while the outdoor area feels much more secluded and surrounded by greenery. Overall, great food, a great atmosphere, and somewhere I'd definitely come back to. I would absolutely recommend making a reservation on the weekend because it gets busy! read more
We came here on. Monday and there was quite some people so reservations are probably the best way to be seated down immediately . My husband has a sandwich but I don't remember which one , he said really liked it. Mine was the omelette which was good. I liked it came with some veggies on the side. The coffee was good as well. Is a very pretty place, service was on top too. read more

It was as busy as any brunch place on a Sunday. We lucked out and sat at the bar. The server was great!! She was very attentive and pleasant. The thing I liked about this place was the openness. It doesn't feel like they jammed twice as many people into a space that's half as small, so it's busy but not rock-concert packed. And, the food was great and the prices were surprisingly reasonable! First impression, put our name on the waitlist, ran late but they were so kind to hold our table for 15 minutes. Friendly staff, love the 50s diner chic vibes and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Drinks menu is a combination of lattes and classic brunch cocktails, small menu options, no appetizers. The wild mushrooms omelette was okay, eggs were not soft scrambled as advertised but still delicious. Homemade hot sauce were pretty good. Overall, will come back to try their Benedict! read more

Everything was absolutely amazing. The service, the food, the ambiance, even the restrooms are cute. Drink: espresso martini was the best I've had very tasty. This place is a delight and a bew favorite for brunch. Fast and friendly service. I had brunch with my sister and we were seated right away. Our drink and food orders were taken shortly after. The menu has a lot of great options and I chose the Beef Po'boy. This was really good. Only needed a little salt and the bread was thicker than I expected. The poem portion was plenty though. I shared a pancake with my sister and loved the maple butter syrup. It was so good. The pancake was fluffy and just the right thickness. Our server Summer was amazing. I love that you can make reservations because this place got busy and we had gotten there at 8am. So be sure to make your reservation ahead of time. read more
What a great find! I love the retro vibe with a modern touch! When we arrived, we were surprised how busy it was for a late Wednesday morning but after our experience we can see why. We were greeted by the hostess team who were all smiles and friendly but Madalyn in particular stood out. There would be a 15 minute wait so Madalyn suggested we wait at the tables in the take out/side area. We ordered bloody Mary's while we waited for our table. The bloody Mary's were very tasty and themix is spot on. Madalyn even delivered our drinks from the take out register. Perfect! When our table became available, we walked through the restaurant and noticed a nice indoor-outdoor seating option which was wonderful it is so nice outside in the mornings right now. We were sat in Kaylee's section and she quickly brought us water and another breakfast cocktail. Kaylee was very friendly and attentive and went through the favorite menu items. The Eleanor has a nice diverse menu but we were all craving Egg Benedict's. We ordered both the Eleanor Benedict and the Egg's Blackstone. Both were delicious. The poached eggs cooked perfectly, the hollandaise sauce light and creamy and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The potatoes stayed crispy throughout the meal. We really enjoyed our experience at The Eleanor and will definitely be back. read more

Came here for my daughters bachelorette brunch and we all were so happy we did! It was incredible! We sat outside and our servers were amazing, food was incredible, all of our coffee drinks were perfect! The manager gave us a bottle of champagne to congratulate the bride! We could not have been more happy with our entire experience! HIGHLY recommend!! read more
Excellent atmosphere and delicious food! My friend and I met here for breakfast and it was amazing! Very cute place and excellent customer service. We each had the omelette and it was delicious. I really enjoyed my raspberry Matcha. I also got a classic pancake side and the maple butter was incredible! I would definitely go back. It is a fun place to meet for brunch. read more
First morning in Scottsdale and found The Eleanor. Loved the mid century vibe with its teal, gold and wood tones through most the restaurant. The menu is what caught my attention initially. Their unique takes on classic offerings were something I wanted to try. I had the breakfast hash. Delicious short rib, paired with fingerling potatoes, wilted arugula and brussel sprouts. This dish had a bit too much moisture which killed the potatoes texture. Otherwise the flavors melded together perfectly. The rest of table enjoyed the steak burrito which they raved about. The side of fresh berries was the icing on the cake. read more

Solid breakfast choice in the Scottsdale area! We were greeted and sat quickly even though it was pretty full even on a Friday morning. I can imagine a wait time on the weekend because the decor, service and food are all on point. Brightly colored inside and out, mid century modern full of teals, creams and natural woods, the Eleanor is a lovely and relaxing vibe. The menu has something for everyone, from sweet to savory and vegan options as well. I chose the steak and egg burrito. It was much bigger than I was anticipating, easily two meals for me, but full of flavor with tender steak and eggs in each bite. An absolutely delicious breakfast paired with a bowl of my favorite berries- so much better than the average grape and melon fruit bowl. I also appreciated the cup of coffee to go at the end our meal to ensue I had my fill of caffeine for the day. The Eleanor did not disappoint and I'd happily return here again! read more
Came here around 10:15am on a Saturday, I messed up my reservations so we had to wait about 20 minutes no big deal. Our server was amazing. Super nice and attentive. The matcha was so good. I got the toasted vanilla and I got the Wilbur sandwich which was also exceptional. Great prices for being in old town Scottsdale. We were sat outside and there was plenty of shade to keep cool. read more
This place is so cute! It's a blend of an old retro diner but mostly a modern feel. It feels light and open and bustling. We came here for my friend's bachelorette and were able to reserve a table for 7/8. Food was great! If I'm being picky, I would have loved smaller and crispier potatoes but the Eleanor Benedict was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised at the first bite. Wow! My muffin was crispy, the eggs felt fresh, and the ham was thin and tasty. I don't think I could have had a better eggs Benedict! The service was great. When a restaurant lands on a "Top 10 Best in Phoenix" list, your expectations don't just rise... they put on hiking boots and start climbing Camelback. You walk in expecting fireworks. A choir. Maybe a slow clap from the kitchen. Well... let's just say The Eleanor didn't quite cue the choir. It was good. Solid. Respectable. The concepts? Wonderful. The execution? A little "almost." Like the kitchen got 90 percent of the way there and then decided that was close enough. My wife started with the banana bread latte. Now, the smell? Incredible. If they could bottle that aroma and sell it as a candle, I'd invest. The taste though? Pleasant. Fine. Just not bowl-you-over good. It was like banana bread's quieter cousin. Next up: caramelized banana pancakes. The bananas? Strong showing. Caramelized, sweet, doing their job. The pancakes themselves? Dense. Dry. They needed that maple butter syrup the way I need coffee on a Monday. Once you added the syrup, they became very good. Without it, they were auditioning for a role as paperweights. Light and airy they were not. Then came the steak and egg burrito. This one was a rollercoaster. A few bites were outstanding. "Okay, HERE we go!" energy. Then a few bites later, the flavor just... packed up and left. It had moments of brilliance followed by moments of "did someone turn the seasoning off?" But here's the plot twist: our waitress, Stephanie, absolutely stole the show. Attentive without hovering. Great recommendations. Warm. Personable. She elevated the whole experience. If Yelp allowed half stars specifically for service, she'd get them. Bottom line: I'm giving Eleanor four stars all day. Good? Yes. Very good? At times. Exceptional, life-changing, tell-your-friends-you've-seen-the-light? Not quite. Still worth going. Just maybe leave the hiking boots at home. read more

Love this space right in my neighborhood. I enjoyed my French Toast. Challah, strawberries, maple butter, fresh whipped cream. I could have used less whipped cream as I wanted to taste more of the French toast without being saturated. Got crispy bacon as well as potatoes on the side. Generous portion. I usually don't care for a menu where most breakfasts are all carte. Still, I would come back here as not only was it tasty but the ambiance is very laid back, family friendly, a dog on the patio where we sat. Server was very hardworking and accommodating. Got here around 10:30 am, 5 min wait for 2. Parking in the front and back which I really appreciate it. I will definitely return! read more

The wait was worth it. This place is a mix between casual and nice. They have a relaxing ambiance, with good food and size portions and friendly service. My only let down was they didn't have non-dairy creamer for the coffee, but I'm not knocking down stars for it. read more
Very good food, the seasoning and flavors on both the Benedict and the avocado toast were solid. The potatoes were crispy and good. The lattes we got were delicious and not too sweet or syrupy.
