Sunny Dish with added toast was very bland
    Christina L.

First thing I noticed here was that the water smelled awful. I'm not sure if it's the glass or the water itself. My partner said it's because they use unfiltered water. I literally had to hold my breath while drinking it. We ordered keto benny and sunny dish at brunch but felt the food was very bland. The taste is simple and homemade, but we also felt most breakfasts we make at home would be more flavorful. When my dish said it came with "tomato", I was expecting grilled tomato, but it was 2 little cherry tomatoes. The avocado was hard not quite ripe. Don't think we will be back.

Charming friendly table service. Fresh delicious food that's a little pricey but that's par for the course these days. Quiet attractive interior with unobtrusive music and a few sidewalk tables. This is a nice neighborhood family run business that's a delight to support. Would definitely recommend.

Everything we ordered was tasty! Amazing waffles and Mediterranean omelette was great. Quick and kind service. Great little quiet place to stop!

The food is good and it makes sense why this homey brunch spot is a popular one with Hollyburn locals. Fluffy eggs and pancakes! During the lunch rush on a Saturday though, the wait is very long - we were there a good hour and 20 mins before our food finally arrived. We did appreciate the staff acknowledging the long wait. Like most places with long waits, I recommend Cindy's if you're looking to catch up with somebody and can wait a bit longer for your food.

Very cute little café nestled in Dundarave. Food is delicious and actually tastes like your own mother would make it for you. Real, tasty ingredients and delicious coffee. Nice woman who served us has a very no-nonsense but attentive manner to her - which we love. No need to have a fake server grinning from both ears and asking you about your day at the table. She also very kindly informed us when someone hit our car outside the café. Looking forward to returning!

My Fiancée treated us to some Skipp, so we tried Cindy's. We ordered some breakfast. The Fiancée and i ordered classic benny and the breakfast burrito and our daughter ordered scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. First appearance opening our take out boxes had my mouth drop, as it looked good but the portions looked tiny. What is this a meal for ants lol. After eating it, i think it was a good portion as I wasn't crying around i was too full lol. Classic benny - Was Delicious, eggs cooked just perfectly. only complaint maybe a bit more wedges lol. Breakfast burrito - we stepped out of our comfort zone with this one and it was Delicious. Was like a little Mexican fiesta party of flavors. once again only complaint maybe a bit more wedges lol. Scrambled eggs - my kid is picky and she loved them. nice and fluffy. Sausage - Our daughter ate them so must have been good! Pancakes - They were nice and fluffy. Dad finished them off, as they are not being wasted it was that good!! overall very happy with the wonderful flavors Cindy has created! Would definitely order from here again.

Classic diner with a modern menu. The decor is very simple. Reminiscent of a beach side tea room. The service is friendly and professional. The food is very good quality and well thought out. I went on a Russian themed day with cabbage rolls and borscht. The borscht was quite authentic and tasty. I had the Avo Toast sandwich which was a unique creation with spinach, radish and dried chick peas...very yummy. Breakfast is predominant on the menu. I'll be back for a weekend brunch.

We got here around 10:30 am. The place is relatively small so if it's busy I'm sure we would have to wait outside 15-20 min. There were two tables available. We sat ourselves. The menu looks great. I had the crushed avocado toast, it comes on top of one slice of rye bread, a mixed greens salad with radishes and two poached eggs. I also ordered a side of one pancake. The food came relatively quick. My friend and I asked for an americano and the server said ok, yet brought us brewed coffee. It doesn't look like they have an espresso machine but I was a bit surprised she didn't say we have brewed coffee only. There is a big difference to me. Nonetheless, I am giving it 5 starts because you don't come here for coffee. Food tasted fresh and I think we will be back again.

A great breakfast gem in West Vancouver. Uber clean, very friendly staff and really tasty breakfast. The "only carbs" is a must!

Stepping into others' imprinted snow footsteps trying not to slip and fall onto the newly fallen snow, we made it into Cafe Crema in West Vancouver. The first thing with this place that gets you is the vibe. Mood lighting, lovely high tables and plenty of space. You can sit there, and daydreaming in this place is highly encouraged preferably with a glass of bold red and a slice of Margherita Pizza. I didn't really know what I wanted, which rarely happens, but this was one of those special occasions where you just let spontaneity take over. I was going to just have a coffee, but as I approached the register area to order my Americano, I kept seeing this glimmer in the corner of my eye. It was quite bright, but just a glimmer, so I looked over and it was just this muffin sitting there in the display. I asked the cashier what muffin that was, and I was told that it was the Vegan Banana Chocolate Muffin. "Vegan?" I asked. He said, "Yup." I almost walked away trying to find something else, but the damn thing looked so good. So, reluctantly I decided to try a Vegan Muffin. I said to myself, "well, what's the worst that could happen? I'll just throw it out if I don't like it." That winking-luring Vegan muffin was so good that it actually trumped many of the dairy based muffins I've had in the past. I'll tell you how and why. First, it was rich, creamy, dense, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. You could taste the Cocoa and hint of Banana and nuts throughout. As much as all the ingredients together gave the muffin its wonderful taste, you could also taste each component individually. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, and it's rare to find me ordering desert or eating muffins. I ate this damn thing like I just discovered the taste of sweet for the first time. Between this awesome Vegan muffin, the great Americano and this cozy little lamp on the table and the beautiful glowing white snow on Bellevue Drive, this indeed was a memorable experience and a one time love affair with a Vegan Muffin. (No, I hadn't smoked anything that day.)

They serve ice cream at Savary Island Pie Company? Yup. They do now. I don't know when they started selling ice cream at this place but my bro was in the know and...well how could I turn down an opportunity for ice cream? Of course I would make room for it! When we got to the shop I was a bit confused with the setup cuz I recalled there being tables where people could sit down to eat. A bit of investigating cleared up my confusion. The space that I remembered, with tables and chairs was still around; it was just next door. It seems the Savary Island Pie Company expanded their space, and so the new space is the part that is now operating as an ice cream parlour. The guy working there was kind enough to let us sample some flavors before purchasing. After trying Apple Pie Salted Caramel and Dulce de Leche I decided to get Dulce de Leche in a cup. This is one of my favourite flavors to get when we buy Haagen Dazs ice cream. Kind of a family favourite I guess cuz a couple of other people in the family also ended up ordering Dulce de Leche! It's old fashioned style creamy ice cream. They do also have a few vegan flavors too though. What a treat! Ummm...I really should come back though to have some of their pie sometime since they are after all, supposed to be known for their pie and not their ice cream! Two things that disappointed: It was a very sunny day and there were no shades on their huge all around windows. Would be nice to have some automatic shades to block out some of the sun from customers eyes and not have them overheat too. The Croissants were so painfully dry and almost stale? It's such a shame we came late morning I was expecting soft buttery fluffy pastries. There aren't very many cafe type places like this at Park Royal where you can grab some casual, quick eats and go. For quick eats it's usually either the food court or places that offer drinks and sweet pastries but close to zero savory food options. I'd consider the cafe side of this restaurant again sometime, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list. Overall, I think one is better off on the restaurant side where they serve entrees, pizzas and pastas.
