My visit to this salon was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. First, the customer service was unacceptable. The owner, Cindy, openly and condescendingly mocked the nail color I chose (black), speaking loudly enough that the rest of the staff and other customers laughed. I chose the color because I was attending a funeral, making her public ridicule not only unprofessional but deeply hurtful. An owner should focus on providing a welcoming service, not insulting paying clients. As for the services: while the pedicure was fine, the dip manicure was terrible. The lengths of my nails are completely uneven, there is product left on my skin, and they completely missed the top coat on my left thumb. Making an appointment was easy online. She did contact me prior to my appointment to confirm. The day of my appointment, Cindy kept me up to date and even text to ask if it could be moved by 15 min. I was happy I knew ahead of time that she would be running a little behind. I had dip with chrome on my natural nails. Cindy got to work on my hands and before I knew it she was done. She did a good job getting my nails the way I wanted them. The salon is what I describe as old school. Not frills like most of the new salons. This is not a place where you will be having a girls day at, but if you want quick, good work, then this is your place. You can pay with credit cards, but cash is greatly appreciated. This is a long one. I wrote it as it was happening. Well to start off, I got a gift certificate for Cindy's Nails for Christmas. I've never been so I started doing some research and I'm getting very mixed review. Some praising it and some hating it. I tell myself to go ahead and give it a try because it won't be me paying for it. I get here at 1:35 tell them I want a spa pedicure and dip nails on extensions. They tell me it's a 10-15 minute wait so I sit and wait. They finally take me back at 2:05, so not a good start. The water was way to hot at first so I let Thu know and she fixed it right away. As she is trimming my toenails she hands me the sheet with the different types of pedicures they offer. I get it maybe I'll change my mind, but I didn't. I still hadn't been offered a drink of any kind. I finally asked if they have water and she said yes. Thu gets up and on her way the other two technicians doing pedicures ask their clients if they want some water. The chair is great on my back but the jets are very weak compared to the lady's next to me. I stand on my feet all day for work and the pedicure massage was actually really nice, on my left leg. She covered my legs with the hot towel and I was a bit confused. I guess I made a face because the technician next to me asked if it was to hot and I said "No, I was just wondering if she was going to do my other leg." They both laughed and Thu started my right leg. She probably just lost track or forgot. I know when you do something over and over many times a day you think to yourself did I already do this? I know I do. So I wasn't mad. The massage on my right leg was just as great as my left. She was hitting all of the right pressure points. I might have to come back for the deluxe pedicure. So I'm finally out at 4:13. I love my nails!!! They are the longest I have ever gotten but so pretty! I had 2 technician do my nails. Cindy started them. She prepped my nails, put on the tips and gave them their basic shape, then Angelina took over and defined the shape even more, did the powder and the glitter. Overall it was a good first time experience. There were minor little hiccups but I enjoyed myself. I will be coming back to try again because you can't judge a place off of just one experience. *After looking at my toenail polish more at home in better lighting I'm disappointed in the paint job. :/ but I called Cindy and she was more than happy to let me come back to fix it. *I came back and had another lady redo my toenail polish and add a little glitter to my big toes. I am satisfied with them now. Spa pedicure: $28 Dip: $45 Nail Tips: $5 Almond shape: $5 Glitter: $10 (over priced in my opinion. The shaping takes more work and cost half as much.) read more

I'd love to give them a higher review but unfortunately I cannot. I asked for coffin shape and the nail tech said she'd make sure it was right but kept disregarding me when I said I didnt like the shape. All of my nails are pretty much a different shape as pictured below. At the edges of my nails it is very uneven and not filed down even though I expressed my concerns about it. The shellac is very thick and unappealing. (Side not my hand massage wasess than 20 seconds) However the color is nice, they took me right away and offered me a free drink. I hope they improve on customer satisfaction because I paid good money and it's saddening I don't truly love it. Update: had a discussion about the nails on Facebook and the owner pretty much argued with me?? The evidence is clear. I wouldn't spend another dime here. She also decided to attack me on here.. I came here based off of other reviews. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE! Okay maybe that was dramatic..... But you get the point. First red flag the design I showed my tech he said he couldn't do.....the asked someone else and SHE said yes we can do a verbatim of it. So we came to a compromise. The shaping is uneven, a nail is not centered, cuticles were no tended to. The shellack (that is extra) was not even painted on evenly. The pedicure is mediocre at best, I literally times my massage it was 68 seconds each leg (I got the shellack pedicure) I will give my tech this she killed on tending to my cuticles! Overalls this place is fairly clean, a decent variety in nail colors and colored tips. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Especially for the $$$ price tag I paid WITHOUT tip! read more

Firstly, I came here because of the great reviews. I never leave reviews and really dislike leaving a poor rating, but my toes are aching after having a pedicure here earlier today. The nail tech working on me was very rough, and when I told her it hurt (three times), she did not acknowledge me. While she was cutting my cuticles, I began to bleed in three areas. She finished with the pedicure and asked that I sit at the air dryer. As I walked over to it I accidentally dropped my sandal and it smudged two nails. I apologized and showed her what happened. She did fix it (very sloppily) and seemed very agitated. When I pointed out that there was blood staining the polish, she brought over a paint brush with what I think was oil and smudged/ wiped away the blood. This does not seem sanitary and I do worry about contamination. While I do realize, I probably should have said something while there, it is a bit uncomfortable to do so. My point in leaving this review is so the owner (who seemed very kind) knows what kind of service is being rendered by a particular technician and can be corrected so other customers have a better experience. I dropped in here on a whim after dropping off some dry cleaning because I was in desperate need of a pedicure. This shop is tucked into a corner of a shopping center and there is ample parking. I did not have an appointment but walked in and was helped immediately. A basic pedicure ran me $25 w/o tip. Their color selection is good - they carried brands that I have found to be reliable (OPI, color club, essie). The nail tech was polite and my pedi ran about 45 min. A major perk is that it is so close to my house, so I will likely be back very soon! read more

No bubbling, no problems with the polish at all. I don't usually complain, but I have to let people know of the poor service I received on May 30, 2019. I usually get my nails done at Q-Nails on 1604 and Braun Rd., but thought I would give this salon a try since it was closer to my house. I got the dip powder nails which I usually get and after 10 days my nails chipped, cracked and broke. I went back to complain to Cindy and she told me they could fix them. I told her the dip powder usually lasts about 3 weeks and that I would need a new set, since my nails were very short and she kept telling me they could fix them. I asked for a refund and she pointed to the sign that said refunds will be given within 5 days. I left the salon and will never return. I will continue going to Q-nails since they do fantastic work and are very friendly!! read more

Just came from Cindy's Nail Salon. I came in to get a new set. At other salons, I've always requested to get solar with a shellac finish. Today, My technician suggested me to get solar with a powder finish. I was hesitant because I've always heard that shellac was THE BEST. She informed me that this was better and "more natural" looking. I have to AGREE with her. I really love the color outcome! I went for a soft pink and it was very subtle with glitter. But not the type of glitter that will make a 5th grader excited. Like a pink pearl glitter. The only suggestion I would make that i love at other salons is the hand washing area. An area to push the old brushes from the new brushes. Also, they should get away with the paper towels and use actual towels. It was busy in the salon with pedicures and manicures. Yesterday I went to get my nails done at this salon. The owner of the company did my nails Cindy. I explained to her that my nail color didn't match as I showed her a picture of what I wanted done. She didn't buff my nails, she didn't want to re-do the color and yet embarrassed me by complaining to her employees as she declined to help me. I went back this morning to she if she would be willing to help me fix them and still declined. She started arguing with me in front of everyone in the nail salon yet embarrassed me a second time. How can an owner be so rude? I will never go to this place again. There are a few more ladies who have gone there and complained about the same issue. I've been here a couple of times and have had good experiences and not so good experiences. They employees really do seem to love their profession but will all do respect, Cindy exceeds in professionalism when it comes to taking care of her clients. She is really diligent and precise with the shellac manicures which makes all the difference from a good looking and tailored manicure or a half butt one. Recently, I got the shellac manicure with French tips. I can't tell you which salon artist I got but she really didn't take care of my nail needs like shaping my nails, cutting the cuticle, and getting the dead skin etc. Also, she left some parts of my nail without nail polish and the French tip line was uneven and jagged. Other than that, she was excellent conversation, friendly, and didn't rush things. Before 24 hours surpassed, I went back and pointed out the manicure imperfections. I told them I loved my manicure but that the imperfections needed to be fixed. Cindy was really quick to step up and help assist my needs. She took her time, completely redid my nails, and attended to my nail needs like shaping my nails evenly, cutting away the cuticles, and making sure the French tip was smooth and straight. She did an excellent job and I highly recommend her for shellac! Thank you Cindy for taking good care of me! I look forward to services in the near future.
