    Lobster rolls

Lobster roll easily makes my top five I've tried out the ones we tried this week. Free parking lot but limited to a few spots. Helpful staff with fresh seafood !!! Outdoor tables. One bathroom is porta John by trashcans.

I decided to go here to get my "once a year" lobster roll, and had my craving curbed. Food was good. As expected with the price of lobster, it was a bit expensive, but that's just the market price. Fries were good too! I'm not one to rate a lobster roll, as I'm not particularly a huge lobster fan, but this one tasted pretty good all things considered! Toasted bun and light mayo, which is how I'm told the true Mainers do it lol

Ok I just ate this lobster roll and my mouth is singing. Best lobster roll I have had in a very long time. The girls at the counter are nice and efficient. Love the little picnic tables. Only problem is the loud car noises from I-95. Not really that bad but know before you go. Love the food. The fried clams are awesome too.

When in Maine one has to try the lobster! We came across this little gem. Ordered a fresh roll and it was so tasty that I wanted five more. However that would have broke the budget. The fries were in need of salt but we managed. The outside was nice to sit and eat and on a sunnier day I can see the appeal. The service was informative and helpful. Also willing to ensure we got our order right.

I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. I come a couple times every summer - whenever I have company "from away". Today I treated myself. The lobster rolls are legit but I also love the crabmeat. It's a good amount of meat and the roll is always toasted, perfectly. Splurge for the tots - and get the dipping sauce. Sooo good. They make it right here.

Under new ownership. Lobster rolls still great. Fish and shrimp are good. Fries are a bit dark, yet often soggy (like Day's Crabmeat and Lobster fries).

Cindy's is a roadside stand complete with picnic tables and umbrellas. You order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. Just plain old good food. They stick to the basics and do them right. Plenty of parking. Just south of Freeport of Rt 1. You can hear the 95 traffic behind you.

Tried this place for the first time today after driving by it for many years. My wife and I are a bit snobby about our lobster rolls and do not suffer poor offerings well. Cindy's provided a decent lobster roll that was worth the visit. The lobster was served on a typical, standard sized, buttered and grilled NE style hotdog bun. Just for the record, there is no other acceptable option in my opinion. The meat was cut into good size chunks and was available plain, with mayo or butter. The price was decent... $17.99 for a small roll and the service was fast and friendly.

A wonderful lobster shack off the side of the road. As many in this area are, it's not fancy, but they have delicious food. Had the lobster roll and I was so excited, the picture may have been taken once the roll was halfway gone! Very friendly with picnic benches in both the sun and the shade.

5 or 6 scallops, maybe 10 clams and fish chunks not a piece of fish. Not ok for being this close to the coast.

Worst fried seafood I have eaten. Roll may be ok but stay away from the fried seafood. $28 for almost uneatable food.

Excellent lobster rolls and phenomenal onion rings. Don't miss them or this spot on your way to/from LL Bean in Freeport.

It was great - the woman from the distributor was perfect. What made it extra memorable was a calligrapher who added messages to each bottle purchased. This rating is specific to the Deli which I've NEVER had a good experience with. Only reason we…read morereturn is for Boars Head meats which can't be found anywhere else. For starters, they won't permit you to pre-order over the phone and direct you to the app, which also die NOT have an option to order deli meats. When you arrive at the deli, there are typically 4-6 employees standing behind the counter and not one of them will bother to acknowledge your presence. Certainly never any niceties. Instead, you'll find them shooting the shit tucked in the corner snacking on deli meats and cheeses. After multiple minutes waiting, One will come and ask if you've been helped because it's not obvious enough that I'm standing there alone, staring at them and no one has lifted a finger. This deli has to be the penalty box for Bow St workers because they all act like they're in a cage waiting to be let out and want absolutely NOTHING to do with patrons. They'll literally let meat roll off the slicer into a bag that ultimately falls apart when trying to remove a slice. Today, I got home to find a half pound of turkey ends. These guys clearly intentionally try to ruin days. Owners, PAY ATTENTION. This is on YOU.

We still love their smashburgers - you can get a signature one and you can build your own - they have really expanded options over the past 5 years. The chicken sandwiches are always so good. I recently discovered I loved the Jalapeño Popper Chicken sandwich. Their fries are always so great - especially if you have queso. Speaking of queso - one of the best things they have added to their appetizer menu...chips and queso- We love eating the leftover queso with our fries with our sandwiches. Chips have a lovely seasoning - sometimes a little heavy handed with flavor - but they are still delicious. I love their breadstick/pizza appetizer. it's more a focaccia bread and it's soooo good. Sometimes I just have that for my main meal. They have wonderful local beers in the cooler and wonderful sparkling non-alcoholic options as well. Don't forget to ask about their specials. In January we had the chicken curry soup - holy moly - it was SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!! And the warm pita that accompanies it. It's perfect. The shaved brussel sprout caesar is soooo good and VERY filling. While it's a small dining area - we have never found it crowded where there weren't seats. The food is just as delicious to-go. They do a ton of to-go orders. We will continue to be regulars (no less than 1x every couple of months). Don't forget you can earn Toastab Rewards!

It's clean. The staff are well dressed appropriately. They're friendly and they know their menu. Service was fast. Food was hot and it was very, very tasty. The portion sizes were large and I love my food. I was able to take home half my sandwich in my brussels sprouts, and each of us took home one of those sweet honey corn fritter thingies. I hope if you're in the area, you're gonna stop by and check this place out it's also attached to a brewery but my husband and I we don't drink so we weren't interested in that And I felt the price was just right for the food

Walked in kind of expecting just a basic store and found so much more. First, the selection of baked goods - oh my! We noticed bagels, baguettes, breads, muffins - so many to choose from. The store seems to have a bit of everything; wine in coolers, craft beers, ready-made soups to take home and heat, books, gifts. I mean, what more could you want? We ordered two sandwiches to go - since we hadn't planned to stay (although there was table space once the lunch rush cleared out). I had a club sandwich on white sourdough. Wayne opted for a special; the Italian Italian. It was full of meat, cheese, and so much more. I am looking forward to returning - maybe for a breakfast sandwich and a latte - people there were raving about the coffee selections; many of them holiday-themed.

We have consistently had great experiences here. Food is always exactly what we hope for when ordering and in some cases, exceeded expectations. The service is always very good. Pleasant, prompt and fun to interact with. The management and staff at this location, are always so professional and well skilled. They definitely help make it a great experience. The environment hasn't really changed - cozy warm living room feel. Upholstered furniture. Still very nice. It's amazing that it doesn't feel worn out, even after all of these years. In the colder days, the fire place and fire pits are nice. Appetizers have been consistently great. The favorites: fresh bread, crab cakes, calamari and meatball Main dishes - any of the specials they offer are typically great. The most recent one I had was the crab cake and burrata risotto. Any pasta dish is usually amazing and I love ALL of their dinner salads with so many protein options you can add. The desserts - the only one that I know and love is the chocolate cake. ALWAYS consistently good! Parking - street and behind the restaurant there is a lower lot - difficult if you have accessibility needs, as it's an angled driveway. Warning - it's a one way in and one way out lot! There are signs, however, I have seen some people either not see them or ignore them. Drive slowly. Reservations - Easy peasy via the Resy App! I highly recommend reservations even on days you think it might be slow. This place is a main hub for the town and surrounding towns for a nice sit down dinner that isn't too casual.
