I have always been a fan of Cindy's. I moved away from Alabama, but every time I go back I have to go. I feel I've been going for 20 years and cinnamon sticks and rolls take the same. It is nice to go back to childhood favorites and it tastes like what you remember. I have nothing but to good things to say about this restaurant. OMG!!!I haven't had Cindy's as an adult. I can recall loving these cinnamon rolls as my younger self. I was in the Galleria returning an item and saw the Cindys sign and decided to grab a cinnamon roll. It wasn't crowded. The menu only boast cinnamon sticks , the original and a caramel roll. They have drinks , etc. I got the original. Was highly disappointed that they didn't have an original with nuts. Oh well.... I was pleased with the service I received from the young man who assisted me. I was excited to get my hands on my cinnamon roll! So as soon as I sanitized my hands and made it to my car, it was go time...... Y'all the icing was way too sweet !!! I'm sure it's always been this way but my adult palette is not the same as my child like palette. Needless to say I couldn't finish it all. Good service. The cinnamon roll was served cold. I prefer a warm cinnamon roll, so that I can avoid the overheating it on my own. I the roll has a good taste, not the best I've had, but I love the icing, although I felt like there was A LOT. I prefer a light or a honey glaze. The service was great. I have been coming to Cindy's for decades and still love coming back to this day. Cindy's is located on the second floor of the Riverchase Galleria, on the wing with Macys. I stopped by Cindy's shortly after 10 am on a weekday and walked right up to the counter, but it's not uncommon to see a line of customers at the counter. My favorite item on the menu are the cinnamon sticks, which come in a pack of 3 with an icing cup for around $5 each. The cinnamon sticks are essentially a large cinnamon roll rolled out into a stick format, usually served warm and you can dip the cinnamon stick into the icing cup. They're truly outstanding and I highly recommend picking some up if you're in the Hoover area! read more

I usually don't get anything from here just because of where they're located at isn't part of the mall I come down too often, but I couldn't resist the sweet smell of cinnamon rolls all the way from Teavana and I knew that I needed to follow the smell to heaven. It wasn't occupied once I got there, but as soon as I got rung up, that when everyone must've had the same idea to get something from here after smelling the cinnamon rolls as well. The service isn't nothing special to brag about since I didn't have any interaction from the employee behind the counter. The cinnamon rolls was well moist and the icing wasn't dried up. Once you step into the Galleria mall, the smell of cinnamon rolls lures you to Cindy's Cinnamon Rolls. I've always walked passed it, but the price always got me. It's about $4 for one cinnamon roll. However, the other day, I gave in and bought a cinnamon roll. Let me tell you, that DOUGH tho. Perfect texture. Perfect taste. Perfect everything. However, the icing was kind of sad. The icing was just plopped onto the cinnamon roll, and it did not melt as much as I thought it would. It was kind of just a white blob on a cinnamon roll. Every time I shop at galleria mall, I always pass this place. I'm always tempted by the whiff of deliciousness I get as I'm passing by. I finally decided to give into my temptations and get one. It was very underwhelming. It didn't taste as good as I imagined it to be. The icing just wasn't doing it for me. Maybe if the cinnamon roll was heated a bit more it could've been better. I probably wouldn't come back after today. The past two times i have got cinnamon sticks from this place, I have been greatly disappointed. Very unhappy with the cinnamon sticks I bought today. Two orders of them. Both bags of were completely raw dough. I didn't realize until I got to the car, and I got one out and took a bite into it. Raw Dough! I didn't want to waste my time walking all the way back into the mall to get different ones. I tried calling the place (TWICE) to tell them they might want to check the sticks and make sure they're not giving everyone raw dough. They didn't answer they phone. Horrible service!!! Cindy's May be the only original business in the Galleria since it opened its doors. That says a lot. They have been consistently good. My Mom makes THE BEST cinnamon rolls in the world. Cindy's are the only ones that even come close to hers. So when I can't get my Mom's, Cindy's gives me a quick fix. As soon as you walk in the mall you smell them and start smiling. A far cry from what a cinnamon roll should be. It hasn't the slightest flavor of cinnamon and the icing is tasteless. I'm disappointed to say the least. The dough was nice and fluffy, tender, but lacked flavor. We went by to buy cinnamon sticks on Sept 3 . It was 7:50 pm, we were told that did not have anything else for the day, eventhough they didnt close until pm. We would have spent at least 30 dollars. We were from out of town and had two 10 year old girls that were so dissapointed. The work ethic is horrible. One worker was so rude and when we asked the cook with the broom refused to make us cinnamon rolls. He said it took and hour for the oven to warm up, So disappointed! read more
