Found this place on Yelp as I was driving through Redding. Welcomed warmly by front counter person. We shared the Sicilian Sausage pizza and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious! Lots of great toppings on the pizza and salad was fresh with big slivers of fresh Parmesan. Definitely worth the short detour off the highway. Also, they have a parking lot in the back. The meat lover pizza I ordered looked great but lacked flavor. It didn't have a strong pizza sauce taste or even the meat that was on it was very mild in flavor. The margherita pizza my wife ordered was also bland in flavor. The appearance didn't look like a traditional margherita pizza with the slices of fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. I was a little disappointed and expected a better tasting pizza. read more

This is an unfortunate downgrade from my previous review of five stars. The pizza is still outstanding in the salad was as good as the last time. But absolutely none of the staff are observing the state-mandated covid-19 safety precautions. And of course they aren't enforcing them for any of the customers. As a first responder out of town in Redding, California it's important that I neither give nor receive covid-19. read more

We came here after driving up from Southern California for our road trip and it was a short walk from where we were staying. We ordered the chicken bacon pizza and meat lovers pizza. I didn't think I'd give a wood fired pizza a 5 stars...that it would be just another MOD..we were wrong! The excellent combination of pizza flavors, high quality ingredients and genuine thin wood fired pizza was spectacular! My normally picky kid loved the big cheese with Alfredo sauce, the daughter loved due spicy Hawaiian, but didn't care for spicy honey (boiled honey with habaneros) but that was excellent! I found this place while on a pit stop to my next travel location. I saw that it had almost 5 stars, so I thought, why not?! I ordered a little before 9pm. I ordered through Grubhub so I knew it was going to take longer. When I received the pizza, the crust was burnt, no napkins given, the essentials missing. It's a shame, I support small business because I have a small business. Quality is everything and this was not. Driver also delivered to the wrong room. Cinders is a great pizza spot! The pizzas are "personal" size but you can easily split one between a couple people. We ordered 7 pizzas for 8 adults and 4 kids and had some pizza left over. They have great options for different pizzas. The pepperonis are the mini kind which I love! They were a little too "spicy" for the kids in the family. We ordered the bbq chicken, pepperoni, cheese (DIY Pizza), meat lovers, pesto veggie, chicken basil, and a gluten free bbq chicken. The gluten free crust is also vegan so it works for dairy and gluten allergies. The bbq chicken pizza was a good option for gluten and dairy free as it had lots of toppings to mask the missing cheese. Aside from the great pizza it was super easy to order online for pickup and they did a great job with the covid-19 restrictions and we felt very safe while picking up our food. Came here for dinner after a long drive up to Redding. The concierge recommended Cinders and it happened to be within walking distance of the hotel. I ordered the Bacon and Brie but asked them to remove the olives and add a hot honey drizzle. It did NOT disappoint! The crust was the perfect texture with the slightest crunch, bacon was crispy, the honey drizzle added a hint of spice and the amount of brie was perfect! This pizza had the best balance of flavor.
