If you love classic arcade games or ciders then this place is where you need to go. You pay a $10 cover to go in for unlimited arcade games. I think it's a great deal even if you just like arcade games. This is a great deal, there's no reason to go to Dave and buster or anything like that. The bar only serves ciders and hard seltzers. I'm a wine drinker and I don't drink ciders or seltzers. So I told the bartender this and she was able to find me a cider that I actually enjoyed. I did not order any food but their selection looks great. It's a family friendly place but if you are not bringing kids then go after 8pm. No reason to be around little kids if you don't have to. Cidercade is such a low key awesome time. Great for a group, letting you hang out together around the bar or one of the many tables, but also venture off in smaller groups to play/watch different games. These guys went all out with the Halloween decorations-- skeletons, spider webbing, ravens, spiders, and other spooky things galore! We came to celebrate a birthday and the employee gave us a freebie entry for next visit! We came during a special when the pricing was half off: just $5 per person, unlimited games! Talk about awesome. We were given a wristband and enjoyed a decent variety of games: pinball, air hockey, DDR, guitar hero, racing games, classics, even skeeball. Sure, they could've had MORE games-- there's floor space-- but it was a good selection. The four of us definitely had fun. We also sampled the pizza and drinks. My dad was very happy because he has to eat gluten-free and they have a gluten-free pizza crust option. The Hawaiian was super tasty and the crust had a good crunch. The fountain drinks are Maine Root variety and you get an unlimited cup for the duration of your stay for $4. Great deal as long as you get a couple refills while you're there. My brother got one of the ciders (Cinnamon Peach) and it was fruity and sweet! We ate outside in their patio area, which had a lovely view of the river-- honestly, they have an amazing piece of property; I can't imagine it's cheap. Some of the seating were even swing sets and my inner child was quite pleased. We went in the early afternoon on Friday, which was good timing because there weren't too many patrons yet. When we left around 6pm it was starting to get busier. They have a nice large parking lot to accommodate a crowd. We'll definitely be back again sometime! read more

This is easily one of my favorite business concepts. An arcade with tons of games ranging from basketball, to pinball, and back to classics like ms Pac-Man, and all you can game for just $10. That way you can enjoy your time and not have to be an expert game player with a pocketful of cash. Stopped in here for a Saturday night date, my plus one and I had been to two other places that were too busy or had long wait times so on a whim we tried here and was really surprised. Never been here before and definitely a pleasant experience. $10 for unlimited game play and tons of them to choose from. There was tons of the old school vintage arcade games and some duplicates which was appreciated so if you wanted to play there was another one in one of the rows. One negative I will say is there were quite a few games that didn't work. Either didn't work at all or the start up process wasn't going. People were mindful of others waiting and there was good rotation on games. Cider options were tasty, pizza smelled good but we didn't try the food. Truly loved our Cidercade experience! We went on a Thursday afternoon and were the only ones in the entire place for a while. It smells of cleaning products which in these times is very, very comforting. They had SO many game choices- we could have stayed all night. We didn't order any food but the Crackberry cider had me at the first sip. Sooo yummy! I love how they have places for you to sit your drink on while you're playing the games, so you don't have to leave it at your table, put it on the floor, or find a place to put it on the game. This place is super fun!!! It's a cover charge at the door then all the games are set to free play inside! What a great idea. No messy coins or buckets or tickets to mess w! The Pizza was very good, crispy thin crust w fresh toppings. I ordered two types of wings... bbq and pineapple sirachaca and I couldn't tell the difference in flavor at all. They tasted like bbq smoke... so fail there. I am not a huge Cider drinker, and by the third cider I was over it. This venue has declined quite a bit since I started going there. They don't seem to fix their arcade machines very often, and when they do, it takes a very long time. Because this is a "cover-only" venue, and you don't actually have to pay to play each game, the good games are always crowded. The whole venue is usually very crowded on the weekends. Not worth the $10 price of admission in my experience. They have a good selection of games, the cider is quite good, the food is not bad. Overall, 3 stars. I may go back someday just to see if they ever fixed their broken machines. read more

Came here for a social event with a group of about 10 adults. I really like all the vintage games and that it's only $10 to get in and play whatever you want. I suggest doing the flight unless you have a specific flavor you love, so you can enjoy them all. It's only $16 for five 5 oz glasses. The pizza was really good and a good price. I tried the buffalo wings and they were delicious but a tad pricey at $16.50 for 10 (I think chicken prices are still up right now). It was a bit warm inside and I was happier after 8p when people cleared out since children are not allowed after 8. I hope during the summer they have better temp control inside. Ample parking , plenty of room to roam around thru the maze of all kinds of LEGENDARY arcade games, we are talking original Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong , and Tron type level games. $10 bucks all you can play... head to the bar and I suggest a flight of cider , try a bit of each as all I sampled, my bartenders Courage and Wade were the absolute best ! was amazing and so impressively good. The white pizza , bacon, spinach, caramelized onion, and feta was F$#k you delious! Of the many ciders I tried the blue berry cobler served with whipped cream was insane. I dont get into cider typically nor do I dig fruity drinks but DAYUM. ( see photos for all I tried and tasted. They text you when your pizza or wings ( what they do ) is done.. I missed the text and in short by the time I asked ...cold pizza , not from your fridge awesome cold but kind of cool you missed the fresh cold. I enjoyed going to Cidercade. I'd recommend going in a chill Sunday afternoon (where you have a chance to visit some of the better games) or a weekday if you have the chance. It is family-friendly during the day. WORST CUSTOMER SERICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN A RESTAURANT IN MY LIFE. I called ahead for a party of 14 for my college daughter's birthday. They texted back and said they should have room and that tables were first-come, first serve. We arrived, paid cover charge, and asked where to sit and were pointed to a table on the patio. We ordered food and drinks right away and were waiting for it to be delivered around 1:15 pm when the manager put a reserved sign on the table for 2 pm. He didn't say anything to us, and we honestly didn't notice what he did. At 1:58 when we were still waiting for one pizza and were also singing happy birthday, a hostess came up and rudely TOLD us to leave WHILE WE WERE SINGING. At 2 pm (still waiting for a pizza and eating birthday cupcakes) the manager came up and told us to leave and kept telling us someone else wanted the table and had paid for it. He then called us "entitled" many times, said to one adult, "what are you, 16 years old?" called us "rude" and said "congratulations, you just got kicked out of an arcade on your daughter's birthday" and he said one of the elderly people with us was "nice, unlike you rude people." He said a lot of other things that I'm too mad to remember. He sent POLICE to our table to escort us out He OFFERED to refund our admission, took our credt cards, said the refund would appear in a few days, and DID NOT ACTUALLY REFUND US! It was all a lie. The kicker is that there were other open tables on this patio. And he admitted that he had forgotten to reserve this table. All he had to do was apologize for asking us to move mid-meal and help us move, and we would have been happy to do it. But instead, he demanded we leave, called us names, insulted us, and completely lied about a refund, and sent a cop to walk us out. We paid a big cover charge to be treated like dogs and didn't even have the chance to play one game, and didn't even receive all our food before being kicked out of a table. THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTALLY SHADY. The "manager" in Dallas won't return calls, and I'm suspicious they just gave me a fake phone number. If you are the owner of Cidercade, YOUR AUSTIN EMPLOYEES ARE HIDING CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES FROM YOU AND TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS BADLY. read more

This was a really cool place. Unfortunately a lot of the games were broken and it was really difficult to play anything that was working because it was so crowded and every game was taken. Yes, the name is cidercade, but you do understand, as reasonable and business minded people opening an establishment that involves a lot of risk. Seriously, this place was packed tonight, and it's truly an awesome piece of property and so many games (everyone was having a great time) --that said, so many of my peers (I was here for a company outing, meaning there was about 35 people I knew) and my of them complained about the only AB option being cider and others complaining about how drinking cider was not ideal given that by nature cider has soooo much sugar and makes people's stomach hurt, headache, and makes you vomit not from being drunk but from basically eating a bunch of candy. Are you for real?? I'm honestly so confused why yall are strictly cider. Its a cute name, yes. Nobody would judge cidercade if they served beer too (I understand liquor is a different level of licensing). It seems like there's a lot of potential profit thats not considered. This is a great spot to hit to get a good dose of nostalgia and scratch that old school arcade itch, not to mention try some great cider and hard kombucha. Really cool place with nice staff and good vibes. We bring out of town friends here every time. You'll always get an awesome hour here. They have all the classic arcade games along with basketball, air hockey, and dance dance revolution. They also offer a nice thin-crust Margherita pizza. The strawberry mint seltzer was decent but not my favorite. It's pretty packed on Friday and Saturday evenings, so try to get there early. They will not allow minors after a certain time (8 pm) and will kick minors out. Also, if you buy the packs of alcoholic drinks, you cannot drink them there. Definitely one of the best arcades I've ever been to! I like the concept of just paying entry for unlimited play! You don't have to stress over how much money you have left on a game card or pick out cheap toys after spending a bunch of money. Upon entering the place looks small, but they have a huge selection of games and the view outside is beautiful! Some games are a little wonky but majority worked well! It's literally fun for all ages! Their pizza was also flavorful but my only complaint was that the paper they use for dine-in is slippery and my little sister dropped half of her pizza upon picking it up from the counter because it slid of the paper. They also have great fountain drinks. Can't comment on the alcohol because we don't drink, but it looked like they had a good selection. Overall we'd definitely be back! read more
