I'm not really a pizza person but my husband and son are. We always see this place but haven't come around to trying it until now. It's affordable and an easy meal. It was busy but there were still a good number of tables available. You pay at the front and seat yourself. Everything is self-service including drinks and utensils. They have a variety of options and rotate different ones. You can also make requests if there's a pizza you want that isn't on the buffet line. They have other things like a salad bar and pasta. The buffet line was well maintained. It was clean and refilled often. One issue we had was the lack of clearing tables. There was someone walking around bussing tables but she wasn't coming around often and there was only one person for such a busy time. So our plates and garbage was just piling up. Thankfully the table was big enough so that it was still out of our way. Since everything else is self-service, I'd think we could just have an area to throw away garbage and leftovers and set aside dirty plates especially since you need to use a new plate every time. That would've made it a lot easier if we could just clear our own tables rather than waiting for someone to clear it and the plates continuing to pile up. Food was solid. Pizza and salad bar was basic - but pretty much what I'd expect from a place like this especially for the price. Definitely skip the desserts though. Those were not it. But again, for a place like this I wouldn't expect much for desserts. I just don't recommend eating it. But if you just want some solid pizza and a variety of options for a decent price then this is a good option. Also half the place is an arcade area. It was super chaotic and we didn't go into that area but it's worth noting as it may be a good option for people who wanna bring their kids. There are cameras too which I thought was cool for safety reasons. You can see the arcade area from the dining area. So parents can watch their kids while they eat. Overall, this place was okay. It's pretty much what I expected it to be like. It's an easy option if you just want pizza and want variety and don't wanna spend too much. It's also pretty quick and easy too. read more

BEWARE! By far the worst cici's in the Houston area. We show up 830 on 7/11/26 and half of the restaurant is closed because they are cleaning and there is a line out the door. We questioned why we couldn't sit in the area due to over crowding on the other side of the restaurant. The manager rolled her eyes and said go ahead. We proceeded to get our food and a young man is spraying cleaning products and wiping the glass over the pasta station with debris falling in the food. Who knows what else he used that rag for and where?! That was my thought. My husband asked the young man if he could not wipe the glass when we are actively getting our food because "shit" was falling in the food. Another young man behind the counter didn't like that he said shit and started an altercation with my husband. The manager told the kid to go to the back several times as my husband and him were going back and forth, showing a lack of respect for the customers and his manager which was as rude as he was. We asked for our money back and left! The manager never apologized or tried to make the situation right in any way. We will never go again! Go the fry road cicis! Before even starting this review I gotta give credit where credit is due, the salad bar was perfect the entire time I was there. It was a busy lunch rush & every chance the crew had, they went & cleaned up the area with the tongs & setting it up nicely as if it was the beginning of the day. Everything else was great as well. The pizzas tasted fresh & that dessert pizza they had was a hidden banger. It was less than $40 for two adults, two children & each with our own soda cup. Well worth the value for the quality you get. Only thing I could say "negatively" is that I wish there was a protein option in the salad bar. Like if yall had the bits of chicken from the buffalo pizza on the side for the salad bar that would pretty cool. Customer service was also top notch, my son spilled his drink, maintenance came by & she told me to sit back & no worry about it & proceeded to clean up the spill. We went there last night. This place is always a place you should go to get your belly full. Reasonably priced for a huge amount of food. I would say the chic who handled the salad bar was on point with keeping it clean and organized. Nothing wrong with that at all. She was handling her job very well. I even made a comment to her about it. The place was pretty clean, not perfect like the salad bar, but pretty clean. The ladies cleaning up and gathering plates and trash went around a lot and did their job very well also. We ordered two table pizzas and they came out perfectly. If you're a 90's baby, you know cicis was the spot back then. Cicis pizza was one of my favorite childhood places to eat at with my family. I remember going to eat here countless of times as a kid. We hadn't had Cici's since our time in Missouri- so we were excited to take the kids. There's nothing but teenagers in the front wearing street clothes with hoodies on & such. (Made them look unruly & not as if they worked for Cici's. Some of the employees were sitting on the counter telling stories back and forth. One of the teens working starting to shout & spew out cuss words without a care in the world. All sorts of b****es and telling his coworker to "hold the f**k on"... so loud to the point where my toddler repeated his foul language during lunch. I went to the counter to verify what we heard- the employee stated he did in fact curse at his fellow staff. I went over to the manager & he just told me that he talked to him and that he was sorry. The manager didn't seem to care one lick... he went on about his job as if we weren't upset. There was a random kid that wasn't working standing awkwardly on the opposite side of the register ... didn't know if he was apart of this horrible staff or if it was an employees boyfriend or friend. The pizza itself was so so- nothing to brag about. At the end of our time the same foul mouthed teen starting telling stories about how he drinks 5th of alcohol everyday & gets f****d up at home. The entire visit was inappropriate from beginning to end. The lack of management thereof is alarming. My family goes out every Sunday after church... this was extremely unpleasant. They always had the pizza in rotation and nice and clean buffet line. They have many postings about returning to the buffet line with a NEW plate which is important because I think a lot of people don't realize how that's contamination starts. They also have a salad bar which has great toppings, the croutons are stale they taste like they've been there awhile. So I'm giving CiCis pizza 4 stars not because the cardboard pizza is good, or the place was a complete mess, but the employees really worked their butt. We happen to walk in right when 50 highschool football players walked in. Needless to say each one of them can put away 1 to 2 whole pizzas, but the staff really knew how to handle them along with the full restaurant. Pizzas kept on getting put out at a large and quick rate, the salad bar was always full and nobody really complained. We went for dinner last night at this place and they don't follow the rules for handling food. The girls at the salad bar was fixing and refilled the salad wearing long nails and jewelry on every finger of her hands, she was also scratching her hair, I asked them why were they not wearing any gloves and she said "we're not touching the food". It doesn't matter, they should be wearing gloves because that food was ready to eat. The lady who was cutting the pizza when it was out of the oven she was also wearing long nails too without gloves. At this point I feel disgusted because my kids were eating the food. We all know Cici's, pizza buffet. They have unique pizzas (mac and cheese pizza?!), its all you can eat and its typically a mad house of youngsters and teenagers. But this Cici's impressed my with their focus on a great customer experience. First and foremost, the staff was super friendly and very helpful. My group consisted of 2 fathers and our daughters aged 1, 3 and 6. I was offered help with drinks, getting a high chair, everything except offering to change a diaper. They were constantly cleaning and picking up. At one point I saw a 10 year old ask one of the managers (I assume that's who she was) where was the "buffalo chicken" pizza? The lady had a solid 30 years on the kid, and as politely and respectfully as possible she said "we'll get on made right away." It may have been a "you had to be there" moment, but that just reaffirmed this Cici's location is focused on happy customers... even the ones that can't drive yet! I'll be back (with my daughter)! First off, let me start by saying that I'm a big Cici's fan! I love going to a pizza place where I don't have to edit my order, "Take off this, add that, etc." And we do takeout pizza here the majority of the time, I've never sat in the restaurant. But I have gotten some lunch from their buffet to-go a few times. There's a drive-thru window so you can order your pizza and easily pick it up without getting out of your car. I'm a HUGE fan of their zesty pepperoni pizza and the alfredo pizza...both are YUMMY! My husband has recently started ordering their flatbread pizzas and he likes those better than the regular crust. And...you can't beat the prices! You can get 2 medium pizzas here for under $12! So, come here for that reason alone and try it out. read more

Just like any other Cici's pizza: a buffet, drinks, and you can order your own pizza for the table. This one was a location I would prefer coming to than the other ones within my location. The place is clean, the people were nice, and it was a really decent dining experience when I was eating there. I love to get all the pizza they have for you at the buffet. My favorite of all time, spinach pizza, is the one I order for myself or group at the table. It has a really juicy flavor with the cheese, and the spinach adds flavor to it. It's always been my favorite here. I will say with a good staff and unlimited buffet, the restaurant here in Katy is pretty decent for a Cici's. Even though they have my requirements for 5 stars, it wasn't my favorite pizza place in the world due to more pizzas out there in the world I can try. I'll go 4! read more

So the thing with CiCi's is it's a fairly large chain so you pretty much know the lay of the land before you come in. This location is no different. Lots of pizza options, they'll custom make them for you if needed. But why I'm reviewing this location is b/c of the management and staff, they actually seem to enjoy being there or put on a good face that they are at least. DS really wanted just Mac and Cheese and even though that's not a something they typically do, they took the order and brought out a tray right out of the oven of Mac and Cheese... I don't know what it is, but CiCi's Pizza in the Houston area is just so much better than anywhere else. Maybe it's all psychological. In any case, my husband and I stopped here on the evening before I ran a half marathon to carb-load. We had no idea this is the place to be if you go to Katy High School. Between the wrestling team and the cheerleading squad (not to mention the little kids' birthday parties) we were taken back in time by about 15 years. The pizza was tasty and turned over quickly, and we didn't have trouble finding a seat despite all of the patrons.
