Good flavors and sauce. Hands on management and not kids playhouse. Crust is above average and all is fresh and not soggy.

I will tell you, however, that by the end of the meal, I was not just surprised by how absolutely wonderful this restaurant was, but I was highly impressed by how wonderful the sushi was how absolutely on point the service was and frankly as you walk in, you will be impressed by the ambience. Let's just talk about the sushi for a minute. The portions are extremely generous and all of it is wonderfully fresh and a great pleasure. I believe I had more than half of the sushi menu on an " all you can eat" Offer, which is, given the quality of sushi, the best deal that I have had in the city of Houston. The waitress was absolutely wonderful, extremely service oriented, and just a pleasure to deal with making recommendations and giving insights since she is a sushi eater herself. I would not recommend the old-fashion bourbon as I suspect everything is done by specific formula and I varied their formula. Next time I go, I will follow their formula and see whether it's a different result. But what a pleasant service experience. The ambience is lovely. it's very large and because I suspect it is relatively knew it was by no means fall although frankly, we went at an odd hour about 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon and so that might explain the lack of patrons. I will say, however, it is so large that there may have been as many as 50 people there but because it is so large, it is difficult to gauge based on much more restricted spaces that I have been in while eating sushi. This is truly not a place to be missed. There is not any exotic sushi, but anything that is on the menu is really quite good, the service is absolutely wonderful and the cost is incredibly good. I would highly recommend it.

The staff/service side was…read moreactually really good -- our waiter was attentive, polite, and genuinely apologetic throughout the night, so I do want to give credit where it's due because he handled everything professionally. That said, there were a few frustrating things. First, they advertise themselves as a hibachi place, but they really don't have the sauces or flavor options you'd normally expect from a true hibachi restaurant for the rice, noodles, or chicken. It felt more limited than expected. Another issue was the bar selection. I tried ordering a Belvedere martini, and they didn't have Belvedere or really any top-shelf vodka/liquor options available. The highest-end vodka they had was Absolut. Normally that might not matter to some people, but I personally get really bad hangovers from lower-quality liquor, so I specifically try to order cleaner/top-shelf brands when I go out. Lastly, if you're coming with a large party (we had over 10 people), be prepared for delays with payment. They weren't able to split checks quickly, and it ended up taking around 30 minutes to sort everything out while we were already in a time crunch. Overall, the service staff did their best and were kind, but management/operations and menu offerings definitely need improvement.

It made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. Our food came out quickly and was served hot, which is always a great sign. Every dish we tried was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they're serving. We left impressed and already talking about what we want to try next time. It's not often you find a place that checks all the boxes like this. We'll definitely be back soon and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for great Thai food.

I had salad that was stuffed with fresh lettuce, apples, candied pecans, blue cheese and a delicious apple vinaigrette dressing. I added grilled chicken, making it a healthy, yet filling meal. My friend had the chicken crepes which came with thick, beautiful asparagus and broccoli. The crepes were served with a mushroom cream sauce that made it a very rich dish. The chicken tortellini soup was the special of the day, and had a thick broth as the base, stuffed with chicken meat and cheese filled pasta. Everything was delicious, right down to the warm yeast rolls. Brookwood is a fun place to walk around after enjoying your meal because it has a beautiful nursery and gift shop with unique offerings, including some items made in the vocational programs. Many of the employees in the cafe and other commercial areas are part of the vocational programs, as well. All of them are friendly and proud to serve their patrons and supporters.

I especially love their Signature Garlic Herb bread. It's toasted perfectly where the outside has a slight crisp around the edges and the inside is soft and fluffy. It's really GOOD bread. I definitely prefer it over the likes of something like Subway, Jersey Mike's, etc. It's nice that they offer different sizes of sandwiches. There's the Nug (4"), Pinner (8"), and the largest size is the Blunt (12"). I ordered the Nug. It's just the right size to satisfy my appetite without leaving me feeling heavy afterward. I also love and truly appreciate the diverse vegetarian options on the menu. They're not just the basic boring raw veggies combinations either. It's super casual and laid back inside. Love their fun decorations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a bar in the back with a large TV, allowing you to enjoy sports while sipping on a cold beer or cocktail. Glad they are in the area. For sure I will be a regular here. Just thinking about their bread makes me hungry.

The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not to mention the ambiance was nice. I ordered a mule cocktail from the menu (I wish I could remember the name!) and it was delicious light, refreshing, and the perfect way to start my meal. I've been on the hunt for good lamb chops, and let me tell you, these were exactly what I've been craving. I haven't had much luck finding lamb chops that really impress me lately, but these absolutely lived up to my standards. I asked for them to be grilled a little longer because I love that extra charred flavor, and they came out perfect juicy on the inside, beautifully grilled on the outside, packed with flavor, and with no gamey taste at all. The rice and salad were excellent as well, and everything complemented the meal perfectly. In fact, I literally didn't leave a single crumb on my plate. We were also seated near the entrance, and having a line of people waiting outside in view throughout the meal took away a bit from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a great place for Mediterranean food, good service, and a lively night out. I'd likely return as its in the neighborhood, though I'd request a table away from the entrance next time for a more enjoyable dining experience.
