I've been to one other Chuy's in Orlando, FL and this is by far the best experience I've ever had! The service John was very attentive and had great recommendations on the menu. The margaritas are tasty here and I like the decor/ambiance. For a chain, they do a great job at feeling like an original spot. I'll definitely be going back. read more

My fiancé and I are Chuey's regulars. It is not our first choice for Mexican, as many things we have tried there are mediocre (don't get the nachos), but the items that are good keep us coming back again and again. We love the chips and salsa, queso dip, and creamy jalapeño dip. The pollo con queso is always good, their tacos and burritos are pretty good too. My favorite is to order the Elvis fried chicken, which is a butterflied chicken breast breaded with potato chips, but I substitute the regular topping for their Boom Boom sauce. I like to order a side of cheesy rice and their delicious house made tortillas along with it, and make my own little tacos with the chicken, cheesy rice and creamy jalapeño dip. If you want dessert, look no further than the tres leches cake, a white cake soaked in a mixture of cream, milk, and sweetened condensed milk and topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Yum! You have to know what to get and what not to get, but the good items make Chuey's a delightful experience. read more

I would go for the chips and salsa alone. I loved their fresh tasting salsa and the creamy jalapeno sauce. The chips are light and super crunchy. I also enjoyed the Chile Relleno with green chile sauce very much. Crunchy and spicy! Loved the atmosphere and the outside seating area. Prices were average and service was good. Will definitely be back. read more

Always great service and some of the best Tex-Mex/northern Mexico fare you will find. The other Mexican food places try to be authentic, n but this place is the best. We eat here once a week at least and always have a great time! read more

Their food bar is pretty good, getting to try a little bit of everything without commiting to something new. Food comes out pretty fast and so far all nice workers read more

Okay- again, I don't live in Murfreesboro anymore.. but Chuy's makes me wish I did :( First off---- get the salsa and the creamy jalepeno ranch. Then, order the "Chuy Gooey" dip.... (not on menu).. it comes in a giant bowl that you will NOT be able to eat by yourself and includes beef, beans, guac, cheese, sour cream, pico, etc. So good. Chicken Tortilla Soup is SO GOOD. Ugh. I miss Chuy's. read more

Sitting out on their patio just makes ya think of Mexico, I enjoy the colorful decor. Our server was great! Chips and Salsa Great! Lunch was great! read more

How does it make sense to not take an in person order? You just missed out on $100 plus order because we didn't call it in or place the order on line. Camino here we come! read more

Handled our hockey team & parents (30 people) really well. Food was great & so were the margaritas! Thank you Landon & Dustin for the great service & for putting up with our boys (& some sisters) with grace & good humor! A little amendment... the checks took way longer than they should have...more than 15 minutes after we asked for them. read more

Chuy's was great before COVID, but when we went Saturday night, it was just gross. The chips were chewy and oil-soaked instead of being crispy. The salsa was mostly tomatoes and didn't have the flavor it used to. We had to ask for knives to be able to cut our food to eat it, but when they were brought to our table, they were dirty. The Hatch Green Chile sauce tasted more like chicken broth than anything else, and the skins from the chilies had not been removed. The burritos used to come with rice and refried beans. Now, it's only rice, and the rice is flavorless. The wait staff and the host staff were all friendly, but that was the only decent part of the night. We were incredibly disappointed and will not be going back. read more

Amazing. The end. 1. Great chips 2. Amazing Creamy jalapeño dip 3. To die for chimichanga 4. Great service 5. More Tex-mex than anything else. I have to drive across town to get there, but it is totally worth it. I'm not fond of the rice, but I usually fill up on everything else anyway. The chimichanga is bigger than most Mexican restaurants. read more

I can't say enough about Chuys. The place is always clean and I am always greeted with a smile. The most important thing is the food is always hot and delicious no matter what you order. I recommend getting tres leches and flan for dessert. You will end up going home in a food, but that's OK read more

We frequent this Chuy's and usually enjoy the food and the service ... but not today. Terrible server that we barely saw. Refills on chips and drinks were nonexistent. We had to ask for napkins and the refills we needed. We order the same thing every time, but today's was especially spicy, too spicy. We told our server that we were not able to eat the food and she basically told us that would mean she wouldn't need to bring us a to go box. We also usually see a manager making the rounds and tell them how great everything was, but we never saw a manager. Too bad. We usually love this place. read more

What's there to say. Order the margarita with corona and eat some chips and dip and im sure you'll be beyond happy.

Excellent service great happy hour with free food in bar. All the bartenders are great team work and they watch after their customers. Happy hour till 7PM. read more

I am not the biggest Mexican good eater but the food was great and love the decor. Wait was quick and friendly.

This is by far my favorite restaurant! My family and I have been atleast 8 times in the past 6 month's. The staff is very friendly and are very accommodating with kids. The last few time we went they were slammed but you could not tell by the waiters personality and food arrived at a very reasonable time. The food is absolutely off-the-chain! The salsa tastes very fresh and not like it comes from a jar. My kids love the jalepeno ranch dip. I highly reccommend the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom plate. You cannot go wrong with this place. Plan accordingly when going on a Friday or Sat.. There will be a wait but thats why they have a bar and Margaritas ; )! read more

I'm a big fan of their fish and shrimp tacos! They have some of the best margaritas too! And let's not forget that creamy jalepeno ranch dip! read more

Was told this was a good place for lunch by someone who later tried to trick me into eating raisins. She is untrustworthy. This place is mediocre at best, I mean I've eaten worse but I'd never choose to eat here over many of the great local places we have. read more

Thanks Laura for the recommendation! Service was great and food was memorable. I had the Elvis Fried chicken and I will be talking about this and trying my best to mimic it at home. Chips were perfect for dipping into the jalapeño sauce or use to scrap up all the deliciousness remaining on your plate. Do recommend the cilantro rice as it was very flavorful read more

Fantastic food, great service and interesting atmosphere. The only reason I removed one star is because of smoke. While everyone loves the smell of food, the smoky atmosphere was pretty overwhelming, hard to breath. But the food, chips and salsa - first class!! read more

Their chips and the jalapeño dip are great! The chips are light and very tasty- not bland like some places. We went late afternoon so seating was quick. The construction in front of the restaurant can make it a bit challenging to navigate the traffic -but this is a temporary problem. We went simple with Tacos and Quesidellias and both were tasty and good sized. Our waitress was attentive and we received our order in a timely period. We will return soon! read more

"Extra Napkins Please" was a familiar refrain with our waitress. She was either too busy or too discombobulated to provide asked napkins until a good time after our food had arrived. I'm already a Chuy's fan, and the party the better half and I were there with had not had these troubles in the past so I can't mark it down TOO much for this. Parking was decent, though like most Chuy's was busy. Food was up to par and I was not disappointed in my meal, though you might want to bring your own napkins from home if you are planning on stopping in. read more

Seabass wins the award for best waiter ever! This is a regular spot for us and the food is consistently 10/10

It is a chain. But for TN its great. Prices are normal and the food is ok. Its a hit or miss with the service. I like the bar so i had a total miss my last visit, very unattentive, forgot dressing for my salad, and fialed to tell me there is an open chips and salsa with queso and bean bar... i ordered beans on the side and was charged for it, even though it was free lol o h well read more

We recently had Chuy's cater our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at the Grove at Williamson Place in Murfreesboro. The food was a big hit and the service was fantastic. So we came back to Chuy's in Murfreesboro and I have to say it was a good experience. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful. Our server is the exact server we had before when we had a not so great experience. Last time she must have just been having a bad day. Today, she did an outstanding job. I will day one noticeable difference in this visit from our last and that is the Manager. This lady was engaged with customers, servers hosts, etc. You could tell she cared and made sure everyone else on her team did too. She was very positive with everyone. read more

Starting off positive- staff was very friendly and did a great job! My mojito was very good and my food was hot. Even though my food came out quickly I did not enjoy it at all. I got fajitas and they were very bland. I've been here several times and struggle to find food I like besides the jalapeño ranch dip(it's awesome). read more

My husband and I stopped here unexpectedly last Friday due to the fact that we were headed back To atlanta from visiting my family during the holidays and our car overheated. After a long day to get it to checked out we made it here so that we could at least get some food after having nothing to eat for over 9 hours. We decided to grab food here while we waited on the tow truck to arrive. Service: When I entered the door I was promptly greeted but I wasn't ready to be seated yet because I was waiting on my husband to come inside. Another couple came in a few minutes after me and we waited for the hostess for over 5 minutes and during that time no one came by or asked if we needed help or had been assisted. Once she came we were seated. Our waiter was amazing. He was attentive, but not overbearing, he was well informed about the menu (food and drinks) he also answered all my questions and made suggestions based on that. Food/Drinks: it was happy hour so I decided to partake in the larger frozen prickly pear margarita which was delicious! Our waiter gave me a sample which helped me make a decision instead of getting it and possibly wasting a beverage because I didn't like it. The chips were a bit too salty for me but the salsa that accompanied that helped ease the saltiness. The creamy jalapeño salsa was fantastic! My husband was a total fan of it and continued indulging in it to the point he couldn't even finish his meal. I ordered the burrito with Mexican rice inside instead of refried beans because I don't care for them. The order didn't come as requested but the waiter was more than willing to take it to make sure it was made as ordered. But I was too hungry so I declined. The food was very good and the creamy jalapeño salad was a perfect compliment to the fajita burrito. I ordered the charro beans as a side and they were also seasoned very well. My husband told me try the refried beans because he said I might like these, and he was right. They are the best refried beans that I've had before other than the home cooked ones. They were flavorful and tasted really good. Overall, this was a good visit, and it was a good place to eat and wait it out until our tow truck arrived. I would definitely come back again if I'm ever in the area. Additionally, I think this might spur me to visit this establishment again back in atlanta. read more

I like the food here. Good salsas and dips. Fun atmosphere and great decor. Lots of handmade looking items all over. Amazing thin and crispy chips plus fresh tortillas. Fish tacos are a favorite. Tried this place for the 1st time when my brother came to visit from the Navy. With my husband being a truck driver and delivering food to many restaurants in this area, I have the scoop on which spots are clean and which are totally disgusting. Hubby told me that this was one of the few places where the kitchen was actually clean and it was cool to try, so we did. Not disappointed at all! I'm sure many people from this area already know how good they are so for those of you who have not tried them, you can trust that their food and service is great and they are one of the few restaurants that run a clean kitchen. I will definitely be back. read more

New to area but have eaten here already three times, great staff and great food. Order the fajitas, comes out smoking and steaming, cooking on the plate in front of you. Chips and salsa are to die for, its amazing actually and now we live near the joint. I fear, we will visit again soon! Daughter wants to work there when she turns 18 :) read more

I'm really confused on how this place hasn't shut down. This is easily the worst tex Mex food I've ever had.

The service is really good, my waitress was attentive and very sweet. The food was brought to us quickly and still hot and my drink is frequently refilled. The music is good too. But unfortunately the food is overpriced, disappointing mush. It tastes like a wet paper. Their "burritos" are made of an inch thick tortilla and have nothing in them but a few pieces of meat and some very bland cheese. Yuck :( nothing close to any kind of Mexican I've ever had Tex-mex or otherwise. read more
