I would say Chuy's is a solid 3 star Texas chain. Nothing at Chuy's, outside of the jalapeño ranch, will knock your socks off. That being said, everything is pretty good and the prices are actually very reasonable. Friendly staff and pretty cool environment.

We shared this meal. Also came with beef taco & cheese tostada. Yummy strawberry and Kim margarita swirl.

One of our favorite Tex Mex places in Fort Worth! Great service, generous portions, fun & lively vibes, & delicious food from the apps to dessert! A fun spot for everyone'

Limited parking I was happy I arrived at the time that I did. I was able to walk in and be seated immediately. I sat in the corner as I conducted a phone call and ordered the queso with guacamole, beef and pico. This honestly was amazing. I the ordered the steak burrito and beans with rice. I literally was in a food coma as I ate. The only issue I had with this restaurant was some of the photos on the wall gave me the creeps. I'm deathly afraid of snakes and there are multiple photos in an area. So I ate what I could until I felt my skin crawl and paid and left. The food is good , the photos sent me with my bags packed.

Service was really good. I will say they do a decent job at Tex-Mex. You aren't going to get anything amazing but you will get solid food at a reasonable price. The salsa was a tad too salty but the chips were fresh. The queso was very good a creamy. The Chuychonga was a chicken wrap that was fried but if you dip it in queso it's pretty tasty. The Beef Enchiladas had decent heat to it that wasn't over powering. This is dependable food at the end of the day with good service.

We had gotten out of our downtown Ft. Worth church service and wasn't in the mood to go home and cook. We headed down 7th Street to see what grabbed our fancy and our tummies! As we came over the Trinity River bridge, we spied Chuy's and the decision was made! Fortunately, the after-church crowd wasn't too bad. We were seated immediately. YAY! We really thought about margaritas but decided on iced tea instead. Chips and salsa greeted up. For dipping we ordered some of Chuy's delicious queso. When you're there, don't forget to ask the server for a bowl of Chuy's Creamy Jalapeno did. It's good on everything. After looking over the menu, we decided to split an order of chicken fajitas. Shortly, our server brought our sizzling chicken fajitas to our table. Oh, they smelled SO good. On top of that they had a delicious taste, and the setup had everything to take the fajitas to the next level. We were even visited by "Taco Dude" at our table.

Time for Chuychangas and Fajita panchos.

Hi, peeps. Happy Tuesday. Today was gorgeous. My big bro is in town. I wanted brunch, and he wanted to munch. Munch wins. So it's top down so we can enjoy the breeze on the roll to West 7th Street in Fort Worth. This is high noon, so there were sweet seats on the patio. Love the view because I'm a car fanatic. This spot is perfect for spotting the nicest whips. Fresh warm chip and chunky salsa was out quickly. The server was all smiles. Off to a great start. Had the Chuychanga. The crust is so buttery with a soft crust like a taco salad bowls crunch. Just super delicious. I got the steak fajita with the queso topping. Ask for extra shredded lettuce so it feels healthier. Our server checked on us several times. Super great service. The tea, um, super light and weak. Truly could have just had water with more body. Truly disappointing. All in all, for the fresh air, views, good service, a solid 4 experience. Especially for the value. Take care folks. Get out and catch some sun, fresh air, and fun times.

Same as other Chuy's. Nothing stood out. Service VERY SLOW. If it's a hot day. Don't eat upstairs. You'll swear and not enjoy your meal.

Mediocre at best. We used to really like Chuy's.. at 11:30 the guacamole was already looking brownish.

Second floor is the event center. Third is the cigar lounge which is highly lit, Smokey and super sexy. Jack nickleson included! The basement is the speakeasy. That's where the loud music, (and less comfortable chairs than above imo) is. But hey! You went to a speakeasy and had a good time!

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.
