Fresko Salad

I love the Frezko Salad. This salad is HUGE! Portions are great for the price. You can choose from 4 meat options and have all 4 if you want! My favorite is the barbacoa. Always cooked to perfection. Service is fast! When ordering togo sometimes they will decide the full salad into two half salad boxes which is really convenient if you don't plan to eat the full salad in one setting and don't want soggy lettuce. There is a small sitting area to dine in but this location seems primarily Togo.

I was so excited that a Frezko opened closer to me! I went around 3 pm small parking but enough. Small restaurant it only has 3 tables that seat 3 to each. Always good to order to go if needed. Chicken tacos with rice and beans I tried the refried and Ranchito beans both delicious. I also got some chips and queso. Queso is the bomb and the chips are so crispy and fresh. Also got their elote so creamy and flavorful. I had to get some dessert as well. The chocolate flan was different but delicious. The tres leche Cake was not to soggy or dry. It was just right!! Can't wait to go back and try there birria tacos

I'm actually a little torn on this taco shop. It has a taco truck vibe inside of a brick and mortar establishment. It is small inside, has 3 tables with roughly 3 chairs each as they are pressed against the walls. The menu is taco truck sized, meaning it's not a lot nor overwhelming. The menu is essentially tacos, burritos, and some odds and ends sides. I had the bacon breakfast burrito, and surprisingly it was larger than expected, which made it a good deal for the cost. When you order, you select "toppings", but they aren't toppings, they are the innards of the burrito that goes with the egg and meat. There are no potato's like you get on actual taco trucks, so that's a bit disappointing. I got everything added to mine. The egg is scrambled but in a solid form in the burrito, which puts it all on one side the tortilla wrap. The bacon was plentiful which is a nice surprise. To start it was ok for taste. There isn't one particular part that really stood out, nor did it have a lot of flavor overall. Even with the salsa on it. That's the part I have issue with. Taco trucks flavor their items so it's tasty. This tasted like it was made for mass market and leaves it up to the patron to flavor it with whatever sauces they can find. It was just odd. The staff there, looked like a mother daughter relationship, was ok. The young lady at check out was patient and answered my questions. The mother was the cook and didn't say anything, at least not in English. Access is limited, the front door is street side but there is no parking at the street, you have to park in the back and walk around or the front. If the burrito had more flavor without salsa, it would be a fabulous spot that I'd revisit again and again.

Street tacos

I was really hoping for a taco experience that made me want to order another round on the spot, but these landed squarely in the "just fine" category. The tortillas were warm but nothing to rave about , the meat had some flavor but wasn't as juicy or well-seasoned as I'd hoped. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. If you're nearby and craving tacos, they'll do the job. But if you're looking for a "wow" taco moment, you might want to keep searching.

Went back again for dinner. Super good food and service again! Wish we had one in Houston!

The food was salty and the beans and rice were over cooked. The location in the mid cities is much better.

I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time. But some bites have a way of humbling you. This one did. I ordered the street tacos with barbacoa. Corn tortillas layered with melted cheese, another tortilla laid gently on top, then crowned with rich, slow-cooked meat. Simple ingredients, intentional hands. The first bite landed heavy -- comforting, soulful, and loud in all the right ways. These tacos slapped harder than Babe Ruth sending one out of the park. And the real kicker? The smile on her face as she watched me take that first bite -- the kind that says, "I told you so," without needing to say a word. She knew she was right. The service matched the food -- warm, polite, unhurried. That small-town kind of kindness where you're treated like you belong, even if it's your first time through the door. No rush, no attitude, just genuine care. Some places feed you. Others stay with you. Taqueria Temo does both. I'll be back.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the staff, and everyone has always been super friendly. The music is loud and energetic, and there always seems to be a good crowd enjoying their food, which gives the place a really fun, vibrant atmosphere. There are a few tables and booth and bar seating available. I've had the street taco platter twice now, and it is SO good. I've tried the pastor, asada, and barbacoa, and the pastor is definitely my favorite. The platter comes with rice and beans in addition to your choice of meat for three tacos. I also love that it comes with a spicy verde salsa and limes! The queso is another favorite. It's delicious, and they give you a really generous portion. I've ordered chips and queso both times, and there's plenty for one person. And if you're a margarita person, their to-go margaritas are such a fun bonus! They seal them up so you can safely take them home. Price-wise, it seems comparable to other Mexican restaurants in the area. My street taco platter, chips, and queso came out to around $25, which I think is pretty reasonable for the amount of food. Both times I've stopped in for a to-go order, I've been in and out in under 10 minutes, which is a huge plus. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for street tacos in the area.

We started with the chips and salsa, then my wife ordered the Empalmadas de Chihuahua, which were absolutely delicious. I had the brisket tacos, and they were packed with incredible flavor. To top it off, we ordered margaritas that were refreshing and hit the spot. They also have a great happy hour from 2-6 p.m., Monday through Friday and Loteria and prizes on Thursdays making it an even better place to stop by. Between the delicious food, tasty drinks, welcoming staff, and great vibes, Añejo Taqueria is a place we always look forward to visiting. Highly recommend!

The beans had a lot going on and included ingredients that probably should be mentioned when ordering. She thought the fries were decent, but said the birria tacos were just okay and that she's had much better elsewhere in the area. The service is good and straightforward. You walk up to order, grab a seat, and wait for your buzzer to go off. One thing to note: if you order drinks, keep an eye out for them because they're not brought to your table. As for my meal, I tried the mushroom, shrimp, and pastor tacos. The pastor was underwhelming, and the shrimp was overcooked. The mushroom taco was easily the standout and will definitely be my go-to if I come back. The weather will soon be nice for enjoying the patio, but there's also plenty of indoor seating available.
