The woman who brought the food out to the car was very friendly. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely order from them again. This was the worst service i ever had my boyfriend and me went here and it waited almost 15 for a severe to come and then she had a poor attitude the entire time didn't check on us much for service and we noticed with larger groups she would totally change her attitude and smile and check on them frequently I am normally a great tipper if your service skills are good but this girl was rude and we were only eating for 10 min when she came and asked us if we wanted to go boxes already. Came here for Father's Day dinner last night, and it was such a nice evening!! First off the host was friendly and sat my family and I immediately, then quickly greeted with our server Krista and she was AMAZING!! Never had to ask for drink or chip refills, and even brought us extra jalapeño ranch sauce when she noticed our bowl was low. We ordered the Steak Burrito with extra sauce on the side and the Chuychanga with queso. Both were delicious, came out just as ordered and quick for being Father's Day. Krista was so sweet with our young son, and repeatedly wished me a Happy Father's Day. She brought out the check and to-go boxes in a timely manner and even brought extra tortillas and jalapeño ranch sauce. Well nothing short of expectations when it comes to Chuys food. It all tasted well and the customer service was also great. Only thing is they dont have space heaters for outdoor seating, so those who feel cold quickly may want to opt out of that. The other bone I have to pick is why can't your regular queso been vegetarian, it has chicken broth in it. Maybe I'm just obsessed. But this is the best Chuy's! The staff here is especially kind- thats saying something with how crazy busy they get. Is there ever not a line at Chuy's? Very rarely-But the quality is really worth the wait! Chuy's CP is great spot for happy hour, birthday dinners, date nights! I really appreciate the FOH team who welcomes you and takes your info for seating. They work nonstop and are always smiling- anyone who works in customer service know that is hard to do! Check out the weekly specials- some great options. I always want to buy one of the fun tees but I can never decide! Value value value, that's what you will get at this Mexican restaurant chain. The flour tortillas are made in premises and are the highlight. Little tip they will provide them to with butter at no charge. They have two sauces jalapeño cream and a tomato based one. They are both worth trying. For foods, the tortilla soup, panchos, and combo plates are delicious. Each room has a different theme from cars to unique art. Each is interesting. Lastly prices are reasonable at $7-15. As the co-owner of an almost 30 year old Austin small business I guess I just expect certain things from other Austin businesses. Long story short. My parents and I went for lunch at the Chuys in Cedar Park (I should mention that my family and I have eaten at Chuys hundres of times) and in all the Christmas commotion (this was a few days before Christmas) I mistakenly left *exactly $2250 in CASH and a small clear bag with $8 in quarters laying on the table when we left. (I KNOW.. MY FAULT). This is what gets me...people have been leaving things (cell phones, wallets, ID's) at my business for almost 30 years and I can say without a doubt that Iv never had to tell a customer that I was sorry and that one of my staff must have taken it. I have cameras for my safety and for theirs. I waited to write this review just in case someone from Chuys decided to reach out. This has not been the case. My family and I will probably continue eating at Chuys because we love the food and I'll probably continue recommending Chuys as a great place to eat when vacationers frequenting my business ask where to get a bite of something truly Austin but I'll always wonder how a business like this can just have someone walk away with a customer's $2500 in cash and nothing ever come of it. One of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurants in the area! Every Chuy's I've been to in Texas has been fantastic, and the Cedar Park location is no different. The food and drinks are excellent each time we go. Best time to go is during happy hour when the drinks are cheap and the Nacho car is loaded with free chips and toppings for nachos (4p-7p during the week). The best thing they have at Chuy's though is the creamy jalapeño ranch dip. I put that stuff on EVERYTHING! The service has been good, and there are always people floating around to make sure your chips and waters are full. We were excited to have a Tex Mex restaurant nearby after moving back to Texas. What a disappointment. The night started with a Margarita at the bar while we waited for a table (I usually only drink white wine) and part way through the drink my husband took the glass away because he saw a 'fly' in the drink. Not sure if it was in the glass, the ice or the drink but it was disgusting. He took it back to the bar and was told 'sorry' and a new drink was prepared. He asked to talk to the manager as he thought it should be brought to managements attention. This is not only disgusting but also a health concern. We were called to our table with still no word from the Manager. We explained to the waiter what happened and once again asked to speak to the Manager. Finally 'someone' showed up at the table (but highly doubt it was the Manager) and he said 'oh looks like a $10 drink so I will give you credit'. Our meal arrived about 10 minutes later and it was awful. The dinner was not even warm, the cheese had congealed on the food and it wasn't even edible. We told the waiter to bring the bill as we could not even eat the meal. He apologized and said he would talk to the Manager, that was not the normal for the restaurant. He returned shortly and told us to 'just leave' and he would take care of things. This restaurant clearly needs Management improvement. I won't be going back and will tell everybody know about my experience. Okay, so I love Chuy's! Everything that I have had there is delicious, from the apps to the entrees and the margaritas to their iced tea...all good! We love their happy hour, because free queso!! I was beyond excited to finally see a Cedar Park location! It's perfect. So close to home that we can walk there and back to help feel less guilty about the cheese and drinks we just ingested. The staff here are friendly and attentive. We have had great service during every visit. The food at this location is just as delicious as the 183 location or the Barton Spgs location! I love that they're always consistent. Our HH go-to is the appetizer plate that we share, the queso car and we share a margarita. Then we walk back home feeling satisfied! My husband loves their fish tacos and I usually get the shrimp tacos or the taco salad. The breading for those fish and shrimp tacos is great! Plus you get a bit of that yummy creamy jalapeño sauce, so that's a bonus. I do prefer their green chili rice over the regular rice, it just has a better flavor to me. Their tortilla soup is freaking delicious! I really like that it's made in-house and you can tell it's fresh, not from a giant pre-made bag or something. We really enjoy the drinks here too. They had a blackberry margarita last summer that was so good we ordered a second one. I have had a couple of their vodka mixed drinks as well and they were also fantastic. And if you order a bottled beer dressed, as my husband does, they do not disappoint! This location is awesome, right off the toll road and New Hope, and it is super close to a theater, several shopping centers and the 365 WholeFoods. I have going to Chuys for years as an Austin local. Visited the Cedar Park Chuys tonight and I was very disappointed in the food. They were very busy but the wait was not too bad and the wait for the food was pretty normal. However, the food was below sub-par. Soft tacos were cold, as were the beans and rice, the tortillas were also cold and burned. Beans tasted like regular canned refied beans. Tortilla soup was cold and had a burned French fry in it. Chicken in the soup was not fresh. Drinks were good but the by the time the 2nd round came out everyone was already done with their food. Overall extremely disappointed in the food and will not plan on returning to this Chuy's. read more

From making people put on masks just to ask for a table and immediately taking them back off, to the severely limited menu for months now, the quality of experience is poor at best. This Cedar Park location of Chuy's has always been busy each time we've dined here on a weekday or weekend. The complimentary chips & salsa is appreciated however, the salsa used to be better blended and chopped. The salsa we got today was too chunky, closer to pico de gallo. Please return to the salsa to a finer chop - like it has been when you first opened. Deluxe chicken enchiladas were good but a bit dry in the center of the chunks of chicken. The platter was accompanied by ones choice of charro beans or refried beans; best charro beans were at Sam's boat not here. These charro beans were too sweet. Grilled shrimp tacos were a bit skimpy - needed avacado, sour cream or another sauce. Kids chicken tenders were good. Our food took longer than it should to come out at lunchtime - 15 minutes. By the time our food came out, we were half sated with the chips and salsa. Waitress was friendly but didn't check on us regularly enough. Chuy's was understaffed for Columbus Day when kids were off Monday and Tuesday!!! My house margarita on the rocks had 3/4 of the glass filled with ice cubes. The owners of Chuy's are multi-millionaires - so really? Fewer ice cubes and more tequilla is in order. read more

We stopped by on a Tuesday and this place was packed! Surprisingly busy on a weeknight with about a 15 minute wait. Service was a tad on the slow side, but the food was tasty, the creamy jalapeno dip and salsa is just like the other locations and is consistently fresh and tasty. The queso was great and I ordered the boom boom enchiladas which were quite good with a flavorful sauce. When you've got that hankering for that hit of queso, this spot will definitely do the trick and in a new, clean and still shiny location. read more

I was skeptical of the size of the "big as yo face" burrito, but holy lord, it barely fit on the plate. It should be called "BIGGER than yo face" burrito. All in all, covid safety guidelines were followed and the food was tasty and hot. Would definitely recommend! Also recommend the steak burrito -- size is similar to the "big as yo face" burrito. I really like Chuy's but the location in Cedar Park needs to step up their service. With the restaurant doing curbside pickups,we thought we would get one of their taco kits. It's a great idea- all the ingredients for a taco family meal. Unfortunately we did not check on our order till we got home and discovered we were missing the taco meat! Hard to make a decent taco without the main ingredient. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know and their response was to ask us to come back. Considering the distance and the fact we had just gotten home, we declined. As of now, no other compensation has been offered. So I think I can spend my money for Mexican food at several of the other places in the area. Too bad because I like Chuy's but this one was too big of a mistake for me. read more

The chips here are amazing. Super thin and crispy and fresh, it's worth it to come here just for the chips honestly! The queso dip was also very tasty. I got the Chicka-chicka-boom-boom Enchiladas as they were noted as a house favorite. Honestly I didn't really love it, the sauce was a little too cheesy and savory after the first enchilada and I couldn't finish the second one, and this is coming from someone who loves cheese (I ate the leftovers the next day though). However I tried a bit of the steak from my friend's dish (steak burrito) and the meat had a really great smokey taste to it.
