Amazing tacos, service, and prices. FINALLY, a good taco spot in Georgetown. Something besides fast food fried chicken. We ordered the chicken asada, chicken mole, and Birra. All amazing flavors and packed full of meat. They make their corn and flour tortillas in house and they are THE BEST! Love the idea they have of the 1/2 order of guacamole and queso with chips especially when it's just 1-2 people. Their chips are even perfect, not greasy at all and have a hint of lime. We will definitely be back, this is #1 for tacos in Georgetown. Feels great to support this family owned business.

Awesome new place in Georgetown! Located in the old Frankie's pizza place, Urban Taco is a great entry into the Georgetown taco scene! Homemade tortillas, meats prepared fresh daily, creative tacos & friendly service hit a homerun! They have a full bar & a big screen TV too!

Chicken Mole taco on corn. I had them leave the pickled onions off.

Awesome tacos, house made tortillas. While they have only been open for two weeks, we were told that the Birria was sold out for the third time. The chicken mole tacos are my favorite so far. The Pezcador a very close second. This former location for Frankie's Pizza has been completely renovated and had a very open and inviting decor. Full liquor license on the wall. The frozen margaritas are very good.

Cute little restaurant. Service was excellent!! Food was excellent too! Chips and salsa were great!! And the queso with a little chorizo in it!! Mmmmm!! But no rice or refried beans. Overall--excellent dining experience. I'll go back !!

THE BEST QUESABIRRIA ! Def recommend to go if you are in the area. The staff was friendly and the place also looked clean and service was quick.

Have had just about everything on the menu at this point because the food reminds me of Sunday lunch around my Abuelita's table. If I knew then what I know now, I would order : - Chicken Tinga - Rafitas Birria - Cachete - Menudo with hominy add in - Mole (wife's favorite) - Asada (son's favorite)

    Rojo salsa is excellent

Love this place. Finally have shredded beef tacos in Texas, and these were excellent. I'll definitely be back.

Asada and Quesabirrira tacos! I might've misspelled it but yumm!!!

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. The bathrooms are gender neutral BUT when you go in there the different stall doors have only one label, guys or gals, on the door which is very confusing to people entering the bathroom or waiting for stalls and thinking maybe the guys labeled stall only has a urinal or something but they're all the same toilet. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink. I can't wait to see what this place turns into!

Just a perfectly crafted cocktail that respects tradition but adds a little dark, sultry wink. It lingers just long enough to make you lean in for another sip. 10/10. Grumpy never tasted so good -- and I wouldn't mind getting into trouble with it again. The bar itself? Classy without being stuffy. The waitstaff were all very kind and attentive. The food felt very overpriced for what we received. The brunch fruit bowl I received consisted of four thin slices of strawberry (not even one strawberry), two pineapple chunks and no more than 15 blueberries. The ham and eggs Benedict was borderline flavorless and the egg white was cold and runny. I love a good poached egg, but it was more liquid than poached. The tequila sunrise was musky and the flavor of the tequila overwhelmed the rest of the drink. I really wanted to like this place! However, I spent $35 on a pretty pitiful brunch meal. The restaurant seating area and decor were all nice. The bathroom had no music and is small and cramped (you can't get paper towels without either blocking the door or a stall). The people were kind and attentive enough that I probably would try it again? Maybe Sunday brunch or a different meal entirely.

The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. There is also outdoor seating, which would be pleasant in the summer. Last night we had freezing temperatures, so sub-optimal for seating outside. When we entered the bar, we felt transported to another place in time. Retro looking furniture at the entry with finger dialed phones...my nieces and nephews would likely not have any idea what these little machines called telephones were. The bar was a mix of old - building built in the 1960s....new - modern mirrors and bar. There was signage at the front of the bar that stated to seat yourself and place your order from the bar (different set up...for sure). We ordered the hummus plate minus pita bread plus more cucumbers. Alan, our server was very accommodating to make that switch. We had herbal hot tea (chamomile and pomegranate berry). We listened to the 3 person band, who sang music from Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and so many different genres in between. What a lovely evening...date night score!
