Terrible customer service. I was with a group celebrating a birthday and when we walked in the women bartender with the pink hair made several racist comments towards our group. I will never return to this establishment and encourage others not to either until they change their ways. read more

I've been to this place twice now. It's now called Juno. Same folks, same food, just changed the name. They have cocktails that are absolutely divine. Their bar menu is huge. They have easy parking and easy to get in and out of. Their restaurant is beautiful and ideal for a nice afternoon or evening. Their food is pretty good...FETA AND TOMATO BRUSCHETTA and BLACK TRUFFLE ARANCINI were absolutely amazing. I was impressed by the steak sliders. I will say the thing I went "eww" to was the Brussel sprouts...that's such a common thing and most people get it so right...unfortunately this place got it so wrong. LOL. Also, I feel like it's really hit or miss with service. I've had an absolute pro that was top notch, but I also had a person recently that was not exactly at the top of their game. Overall, I like the place and will definitely be going back again. It's truly a beautiful spot. read more

The food was great, the service was chipper and charming, and the restaurant vibe was chic, upbeat, and attractive. It wasn't too loud--I was able to hear my family speak. The food was hot and fresh. Sharing food was fun, discussing new flavors. The drinks were fantastic, with a fun "bubble" that popped into smoke! I can't wait until the next special occasion to revisit this gem! read more

I was looking for a spot to grab brunch after hiking around Lake Georgetown and stumbled upon this newer place on the square. The space has an industrial-chic feel with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar. Service was friendly and attentive, and the bartender highlighted their bottomless mimosa special which I happily took advantage of. To balance things out, I ordered the BLTA sandwich, which was simple yet delicious. The menu was reasonably priced and refreshingly straightforward which I appreciated. I could easily see myself coming back the next time I'm in Georgetown to check out their happy hour or dinner options. read more

Beautiful bar, good food and nice ambiance. It is a tapas bar so food portions are smaller but drinks were generously poured. The staff were good, attentive, explained everything well. And food was good too. Overall good experience read more

Service was phenomenal from start to finish. The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Most importantly, the food was superb. Here's how I'd rank the dishes we tried: 1. Chargrilled Angus Tenderloin - 5/5 Wow. The tenderness and flavor were absolutely on point. Cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully, easily the standout of the night. 2. Queso Con Carne - 5/5 The chips were fresh and crisp, and the queso paired with the meat was rich and flavorful. An addictive combination that we couldn't stop dipping into. 3. Patatas Bravas - 4/5 The sauce was amazing with a nice spicy kick, which I loved. Great flavor balance and a solid dish overall. 4. Red Fish Tacos - 3/5 My daughter really loved these, but for me, there was a strong fishy aftertaste that lingered a bit too much. 5. Espresso Pork Belly - 3/5 The tenderness was excellent, but the burnt coffee aftertaste didn't quite work for me. If they adjusted it to have more of a "millionaire's bacon" flavor profile while keeping that same tenderness, this dish would definitely be a hit. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely come back! Lots of parking available in the back of the building read more

My husband and I stopped in to Juniper for the first time recently. Best choice! We sat at the bar. The staff were very attentive. We ordered two drinks. My husband was blown away with the large selection of whiskey. We ordered fillet off the Tapas menu, it was delicious. We also ordered the espresso pork belly Tapa. It came on top of fried polenta. My husband actually said I think we have found, (our place) on the Square for date night ! Juniper has a great vibe. I can't wait for our next chance to go back and try more from the menu. read more

We stopped in here for dessert and drinks on a Friday night. We did have to wait a short time for a table but that's expected on a Friday night without a reservation (Reservations are definitely recommended). While their craft cocktail menu was pretty short, they were accommodating in making a custom drink not on the menu, and the waiter, who also doubled as our bartender, was really knowledgeable about the alcohols they had to choose from. The bread pudding was a bit burned on top, but we liked that the sauce and Icecream were on the side to make it as you liked. read more

I'll start with, there are some interesting reviews on here. Reading is fundamental, it's a tapas restaurant-of course the portions are small. And what year do we think we're in, cocktails averaged $14, which is pretty cheap these days. Let's try writing reviews with substance, that make sense. Off my soap box. I went to Juniper for what I thought would be Friday HH but learned that it's only Monday through Thursday I'll keep my thoughts on who doesn't do Friday HH to myself and just say maybe they will fix this at some point. We had the margarita with tequila and mezcal, lemon drop, beef tenderloin, pork belly, fish tacos and Brussels. All drinks and dishes were great. The Brussels had a lemon or lime zing, which made them stand out and the fish tacos were just right. The pork belly was flavorful and sat on top of fried polenta. The service overall was great, in that they were very attentive. Outside of the actual waiter who couldn't read the room and constantly kept interrupting our conversation. It was quite excessive and absolutely annoying but that's something a little training can fix. I don't know if training can fix a server who takes it upon themselves to keep my change without my consent. If a customer gives you cash, you can ask would you like change but you should never assume that it's yours to keep - kind of a basic skill but I digress. Honestly, I almost gave 3 stars due to the waiter but decided that I wouldn't let his serving skills taint my review. All in all, super cute addition to GT, with tasty bites, good drinks and fair pricing. I'll definitely be back. Hopefully, I'll have a different server ‍ read more

For those of you who may think tapas is just an excuse to serve tiny portions of overpriced and underwhelming food, Juniper is here to set you straight. Start with the charcuterie which is gigantic and loaded with meats, cheeses, jams, fruit, and cookies...yes, cookies! The queso is fantastic and served with thick and seasoned chips that set it apart from typical Tex-Mex fare. The steak sliders are tasty and and the tenderloin served with mashed potatoes is tender and flavorful. A massive spirits list, color-washed decor, and friendly service round out this Georgetown gem! read more

Came for a birthday get together. Booked a reservation, on arrival I was greeted by the hostess who gave us an option of tables. We had cocktails that were amazing! Love the cinnamon smoked tequila old fashioned! The presentation is amazing! Cinnamon stick burning in the ashtray, cocktail was wonderful! We ordered tapas, sirloin bites, Brussels sprouts & tacos. The portions are generous! They even offered a free birthday desert! This place is amazing, it was my third time & our friends first time. They loved it! The interior is elegant & relaxing! Staff is very friendly & attentive, their bartenders have a lot of flare! Highly recommended! read more

This place checks all the boxes. It's a tapas house. We tried the patatas bravas, charcuterie, and bruschetta. All were great! They have an outstanding cocktail menu with something for everyone. The start here though is the service. Everyone from top to bottom was friendly and professional. I don't have one complaint. Can't wait to go back. read more

Quick short review and to the point. Okay this place gets a 5 because of the whiskey selection and food. Service was awesome and the atmosphere is a vibe. Romantic also if that's what you are looking for. Great little spot in GTX Square. read more

Sunday Bruch- First, the bartenders service was great, attentive even though we didn't sit at bar. Second, the food- MEH! Eggs Benedict, very overcooked eggs. Sent back and 2nd batch was still over. Hubs got steak (thin skirt steak) an over-easy eggs (also way overcooked). Third- Cocktails, maple old-fashion was amazing. Espresso Martini- so-so but i did ask for less sugar- so that may have changed it. Spent $88.34 (includes 20%tip), not my jam but at least try it once. read more

It's here. The best foodie place around. This small plates tapas style was amazing. We had the chef special orange salmon bites. Flavors mixed well salmon was fresh tasting. The steak tenderloin bites were tender and delicious. We also had the tempura broccolini. I can say enough. Presentation was beautiful and food came out well timed. I had the mushroom old fashioned which I was tentative about tying but was very smooth. Wife had the juniper old fashion which was perfect. Not to sewer not too strong. Hard to find. Our server Sara have great suggestions and service was timely and spread out correctly. I can't recommend enough how great this place was here in Georgetown. This is foodie food. read more

We enjoyed the food. The table and kitchen service was very good. However, the bar service was far too slow for a cocktail bar. Our food arrived well before drinks. Improve this aspect and you'll have a winning combination. Details: The steak and fries, carpaccio pan Asado, mango shrimp and salted chocolate desert were all very good. Brussels had too much vinegar for our taste. Ambiance is upscale and it's a great place for a date night. We will return. Recommended. read more

Walked in. Ordered. That was our mistake. Lisa (lady with blonde and pink hair) behind the bar judged us before we spoke. Made assumptions. Let us feel like an inconvenience in a place we were paying to be. You want hospitality? Go somewhere else. You want to be talked down to based on how you look or where you're from? Then you're in the right place. We won't be back. Neither should you! read more

Great addition to Georgetown. The square needed a little variety. Good food and drink along with good service.

Food was good; portions were small and pricey even for tapas. Also, and most importantly for me, the server was not well educated on what was gluten free (I am celiac) and what was not and/or if modifications could be made. I had to suggest that they could modify the charcuterie board if they put the crostini on the side... It sounds like they fry a lot of their food and they don't have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items. Our server even said he spoke to the chef and the chef said the corn tortillas "might have flour". It's almost 2026. Please educate yourselves and your staff on how to accommodate someone with celiac disease. read more

Juniper is always a win. From the cocktails to the tapas-style plates, everything feels intentional and full of flavor. We've been here multiple times and continue to love the experience. This time, we ordered a handful of dishes to share -- which I highly recommend. Three to five plates between two people is the sweet spot. What we tried: * Patatas Bravas - Crisp, lightly spicy, and perfectly seasoned. A great starter. * Crispy Brussels - Similar flavor profile, but so good we didn't mind the overlap. * Espresso Pork Belly - A little on the sweet side for my personal taste, but beautifully cooked and still a hit at the table. * Mango Habanero Shrimp - Sweet heat done right. This was the table favorite -- balanced, bold, and memorable. The service, ambiance, and presentation all contribute to an incredible dining experience. Whether you're here for a date night or just want to treat yourself to thoughtful food and great cocktails, Juniper delivers every time. read more

Outside for poppy festival in GTown, drinks were nice, the charcuterie board complimented the sangria and beer. Service outstanding, and attention impeccably done with detail. We went here for our anniversary and honestly walked away underwhelmed. The food portions were laughably small--like the carpaccio, which was mostly bread with barely enough beef to call it carpaccio. The pork belly? Where's the belly? The "patatas bravas" were just...french fries. And the Brussels sprouts? Slimy and sad. Why is it so hard for restaurants to just fry them properly? The atmosphere had potential, but instead of cozy and romantic dinner vibes, the lights were cranked up to max. It felt more like a cafeteria than a dining experience. The GM even admitted the lighting system needs fixing--not exactly something you want to hear during dinner. The cocktails were the only redeeming part of the night, but even those were overpriced. The one bright spot? The service was actually very good--our server was attentive, professional, and did what they could to make the experience better. For the hype this place gets, I expected much better. People raving about the food must think Applebee's is fine dining. Bottom line: Juniper looks the part, but the execution falls flat. Maybe if they overhaul the menu and fix the lighting, I'd give it another shot. read more

Way overpriced and under deliver. We had 2 cocktails and 2 tapas for happy hour, $51, way too expensive and one of their tapas was their "special of the night" which was a fatty, grisly steak skewer, which I spoke to the manager about and they offered a free dessert on our next visit, not happening and we'll never return! read more
