On April 25 2016 my wife and I went to Chux Trux in Olathe We had the pleasure of meeting, Josh Quillin. He is an employee of the Olathe store. We went out there to get fender flares on my truck. And we also ordered Weather Tech floor mats for each if our vehicles. Chux Yrux has done work on my truck 2014 lift kit and I bought a expensive super chip programmer for my truck. At that time when I bought the super chip nobody asked if I needed help with it. In April when we were there while we were ordering flares and Josh Quillin was helping us he asked if the super chip in my hand was for my truck. He immediately ask if he could see it and he plugged it into the computer and updated my super chip to current standards. After Josh ordered our new products he updated my programmer on the computer which no one told me could be done until Josh did it for me two years after I bought it. He then asked would I like to have him install a program on my truck with the super chip. I said heck yes no one had shown me how to use it when I bought it in 2014. It was really important because of the larger tires and lift my speedometer was off. Josh immediately installed a great program on my truck and then he went thru step by step and showed how to use it and he took the incentive to help me . He also he showed me what the truck would look like with the new fender flares, which was great. Josh made appointments for me for the installation and made sure after they were installed I was satisfied with the work. Chux Trux should be very grateful that they have an employee like Josh Quillin. He took the time to help use 100% . His customer service skills are over the top. He made sure that we were satisfied with everything we had purchased that day and as well he made sure I was satisfied with my super chip and lift kit I had previously purchased from them. Chux Trux having an employee like Josh Quillin makes it easie r for me to order more upgrades for my truck and wife's Denali because I know Josh will make sure that everything is 100% correct and we are totally satisfied customers. I'm not really someone who's into aftermarket accessories for my car, but I had a remote starter installed at the Olathe Chux Trux. I have been very happy with this product and on cold winter mornings it is an absolute luxury. My car didn't even feature a remote door lock/unlock so having this accessory has been very handy. HOWEVER, I noticed not long afterwards that my car didn't give me a warning beep when I opened the door with my keys in the ignition or opened the door with my headlights left on. I decided it wasn't a big deal, that I could work around this. Well, after the second time I had to have someone come out and give me a jump start because I'd left my headlights on, I decided it was time to do something about it. About a year and a half had elapsed since the initial install. I called Chux Trux on the off chance that they would fix this for me. The worst they could do was say no, right? Well they agreed to fix it for me! Come to find out, it was a problem not even related to the electrical reworking that was needed to install the remote start and door locks. It was actually a pin in my car door. Nevertheless they fixed me up without charging me and were super nice and friendly in the process. This level of customer service is rare today; I can't help but recommend Chux Trux in Olathe to anyone looking for aftermarket parts. read more

I shopped around town for estimates on my recent truck build, a 2014 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4. A 6" lift, wheels, tires, new front & rear bumpers, LED lights, etc. I initially decided to go with Chux Trux (Olathe) because they've been around for a very long time and figured there has to be a reason for that. I started off my build with Paul who was great. He suggested a few ideas to me, worked with me on prices, etc. Even came up with a great idea on the wheels I wanted which were recently discontinued. He took the extra time to locate four wheels, have them send to the factory, had them sandblasted, then painted the color I wanted. I dropped my truck off for a week and came back to an awesome ride. A couple of items came from the manufacture incorrect but the store manager Mark took care of me right away and corrected them. I decided to also do a couple more things a little more custom and Lalo was their shop guy who not only did a good job, he suggested a few ideas beforehand then sent me a few pictures with options so I could decide while I was at work. I'm a little more picky than most. I spent a lot of money and wanted my truck exactly the way I wanted it. These guys went above and beyond to make that happen and I appreciate that. Setup an appointment to have my truck leveled (raised up in the front) and an alignment. Truck already had Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks in the front so I didn't need any extra parts or hardware. Alignment was on sale at the time and the total bill was about 150$ cheaper than their competitor. They went over the truck checklist with me during drop off to ensure all was good and that we were all on the same page which was a rather quick process. Got the phone call a few hours later, letting me know that my truck was ready in a very enthusiastic manner which got me all hyped up and anxious to see it leveled. Picked up my truck and spent about 10-15 minutes chit chatting with the crew, all were very friendly and really cool to talk to not just with trucks and what they do, but anything and everything. Very happy with the truck, shocks are maxed out, alignment was all within spec and it drives just like before with no added characteristics. I wouldn't really have thought of using Chux Trux to install remote start on my car - since it's really kind of a "guy" store and most of their stuff is geared toward trucks. However, I called them up about remote start and they got my installation scheduled within a few days. I expected a four to six week waiting list like the big box stores in town. My remote start was installed yesterday and it only took them a little over an hour. I'm thrilled with its performance as well as the price. I paid half at Chux Trux of what I paid at Best Buy for the same exact system - and Best Buy took SIX HOURS to install while I waited in store. Used these guys in Olathe to install a trailer hitch on my 2014 Highlander. The first part of the experience was on the phone where a very good sales guy confirmed an appointment and took a deposit for the hitch. I then came to the store and dealt with Mark Kliethermes the store manager (not cause there was an issue, just because he is who I worked with). Everything was ready, I waited for just over an hour (less time than they quoted), worked with their complimentary WiFi and enjoyed a cup of complimentary coffee in a super clean store with a very nice customer waiting area. The entire staff was super friendly. I would highly recommend these guys for any aspect of custom add-on's for any type of truck or SUV! read more

I had a winch installed 10 months ago. Last time I used it (5 months ago) it worked great. I tested it today preparing for a trip to Kansas Rocks 4 wheel park tomorrow and it was dead. I called the store and Mark Kliethermes (the store manager) squeezed me in. He put his best Technician on the job. 1 hour later not only was it fixed free of charge but he also buffed the haze off my headlights. They totally saved my trip to the park. Outstanding!!!! I needed to have a trailer hitch put on my BMW X5. The cost was ridiculous at BMW, so I called Chux Trux and they installed it for 1/10th of the price. Up front, they told me I would have to go to BMW for the light package. I had the light package installed at BMW and it looked horrendous as they claimed I needed a new bumper to attach it so they left it dangling with a zip tie. I took it back to Chux Trux and they put it in the bumper and it looks Great! And, they didn't even charge me!!!! I recommend them to everyone!!!! read more

When we, my son-in-law and I, walked in we were greeted by two very nice men. I asked for Matt, as that is who I talked with on the phone. Matt was doing something in the back, but came out quickly when told that I was there. He handled my transaction very quickly and made sure that I was satisfied with the product, price and service. Chux Trux is a good salt store professionally rain. I came in there looking for seat covers and they helped me pick out the ones that I liked. Most stores would have tried to sell me the best right off they didn't. But I did want the best so they show them to me it was very professional about getting them ready and getting them ordered. I have a 2005 Xrunner Toyota with a pull cover that was installed by Chux Trux 10 years ago. The cover seemed a little loose at the box. Well it was more than loose, they found loose rails and missing drainage tubes. They not only fixed it they returned it to mint condition in no time at all. Lalo Merino was the best! He was very knowledgeable and completely helpful. We got powersteps installed on our 2011 Toyota Tundra. We ordered what we wanted and they were there in three days. I am in a wheelchair and their northland store is not ADA compliant .... at all. After I struggled to get inside the cluttered store, a grey haired overweight man did everything he could do to turn me away from doing business there. I needed fog-lights installed and he acted like they had never done them before. No price was given, only a "Sorry". This place is a joke. Stay FAR away. read more
