This is what my alignment looked like after Tires Plus finished aligning my truck.
    Dan H.

One month ago yesterday, I took my truck to the Tires Plus on Santa Fe and Blackbob in Olathe KS to have a simple front end alignment done. The reason I went there to begin with was because it was after 3pm when I finished replacing my front differential and couldn't use the alignment rack at work. They charged me almost $70 for a front end alignment which is a fair price. During the process of aligning my truck, they rounded one of the passenger side adjustable upper control arm bolts. Instead of putting together a repair estimate, they more or less told me "Sorry about your luck. Bring it back to us after replacing the bolt and we'll fix the alignment." The next morning I drove out to Kansas City and bought several replacement bolts. I took it back to Tires Plus immediately after getting the bolts. They charged me an additional $50 to replace that bolt that THEY rounded off the day before. Here's the kicker... They left my passenger side upper control arm adjustable bolts loose during the alignment. Thinking that I was good to go, I immediately hit the road headed for California. I drove approximately 3700 miles and started hearing a popping noise coming from the front end. I brought it into my shop and that's when I discovered the loose bolts. I tightened everything for the time being. The next day, yesterday, I put it on the alignment rack up at my work. The picture above is what my alignment looked like exactly one month after Tires Plus aligned my truck. Now I am going to have to replace both the adjustable bolts in the passenger upper control arm and realign my truck again because the new bolt that Tires Plus installed is now rounded off again from being left loose. Moral of the story... DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO TIRES PLUS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU MORE NEW PROBLEMS. Thanks for reading.

    Nice, clean service station.

Seem to be trustworthy, don't load on extra work if we come in just for an oil change. Convenient location, friendly staff.

They did the repair very quickly and kept me up to date on status and didn't try to upsarge me a bunch of stuff I didn't need which was a welcome relief. They made sure they had all my information. As you can see in the screenshot they texted me to confirm my appointment. My first clue should have been when the lady behind me was greeted and assisted before me, I realized we were not probably getting the same service but I thought that the man assisting people was rude for not acknowledging me at all, even after we had eye contact. We agreed that my wife and I would not be waiting, and would pick it up in the afternoon. When I got the quote they said a couple of hours. So at around 5:00 I called to see if the service was complete. I was then informed that my vehicle was on the ticket for tomorrow. I completely understand that things come up and life happens, and that my vehicle was not an emergency, or broke down. I was just dumbfounded that they didn't reach out to me in any way! I told the person I spoke to on the phone that I was on my way to retrieve my vehicle. When we got there I went in and spoke with a lady about getting my vehicle. I expressed my disappointment, frustration, and confusion. I did lose my cool and used profanity at the very end of our conversation. I had apologized for my attitude and said may I have my keys please. She agreed with my frustration and then told me my vehicle was being pulled up for me. That's when I freaked out, why in the world would you have to get in my vehicle, adjust settings for YOUR COMFORT, and roll down the windows and move the mirror, just to move the f***ing vehicle literally like a parking space! I just couldn't believe you can't do the service when agreed on, not contact me in any manner saying, Hey we are keeping YOUR vehicle longer, and then act like you are doing me some kind of favor by moving it! Get the f**k out of my vehicle. Needless to say, we did not get anything done to our vehicle at this location, but we did waste time, and effort. Thanks for nothing but frustration! I would a negative number if possible!!

Service Advisor…read moreBrandon was excellent - professional, communicative, and the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. However, the pricing is simply "stratosphere" high. It eludes me how some comments indicate "fair pricing." I paid over $200 for a diagnostic ($80 for an initial inspection and an additional $119 for a cleanup/secondary inspection) just to identify an oil leak which was part of 4 additional leaks but the former was the lesser of the 4 evils. The issue turned out to be a bad Rear Main Seal which they came back at $4,300 based on 20.3 hours of labor. The explanation was that the engine and transmission both needed to be removed. After spending an afternoon consulting several other reputable shops, the highest quote I received was $2,750. Here's the kicker: On a hunch, I called a dealership to see how close they came to their price. How close? The dealership quoted me $2,901.05 out the door. By the way, all shops confirmed that a full "engine out" procedure is not the industry standard for this seal replacement. And even utilizing the latter method, the highest bid was for 16 hours. And yes, I shared with all shops and the dealership I called that my vehicle is AWD. Quotes for spark plugs ($450+) and O2 sensors ($1,100+) were equally jarring. While I understand shops have overhead, these prices felt like absolute highway robbery compared to market rates for the same OEM parts and repairs. I appreciated Brandon's transparency, communication, and calm demeanor, but I cannot reconcile the costs here. With these prices, I am honestly at a loss at their perfect 5-star reviews. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Battery: dead Schedule: busy…read moreAvailability to take car to dealer: no Mobile service needed: yes Prymo did a fairly primo job for me. My car, like many cars that are on the market today, has tons of bells and whistles, so adding a battery means doing a reset and reprogram. Guess what? I don't have the tools or the knowledge on how to do that. Could I change a battery many years ago? Absolutely! Could I change a battery now? No way... That's why I needed someone with the tools, the know-how, and the availability. I put in a request via Yelp to get a project started, and Prymo was the first to respond and had availability the next morning. They sent a tech to my house, he quickly diagnosed that the battery had no charge left, even though I had a jump the day before, and he commenced replacement. I didn't have to do anything other than do what I usually do, which is work from home. Fast-forward a half-hour and the job was done. I had a new battery, the tech had reprogrammed everything to its proper state, and he was on his way. Prymo accepts debit and credit, though a credit card purchase will come with a 3% charge, which is very fair since that's what the banks stick to the business. It wasn't cheap, but most of the cost was in the actual battery itself, which came with a five-year warranty. Great response, simple to navigate and schedule, and the tech was professional and skilled. Great experience and highly recommend if you're in the same situation.
