yummm! my friends and i decided on this for a late night snack with a movie :3 prices were worth it for the quantity we got but would definitely recommend splitting an order between two people. service; it took about 5-10 mins but thats bc the churros are made fresh to order and there's one dude manning the truck. thankfully they accept zelle! plenty of parking bc its located in a parking lot. one other pleasant surprise is that my churros were still warm after the 15 minute drive back home! would definitely come again when im back in the long beach area :D

6 Churros W/ 3 Toppings (Strawberry, Lechera, Hersheys)

Saw this spot on our way home and had to stop by. Their menu seems to be more updated than their other locations. 6 Churros W/ 3 toppings - was just enough to share with 2 people. We chose Strawberry, Lechera (condensed milk) and Hersheys. Churros were definitely made to order for us. Wait time was a little over 15 minutes. Who says no to a freshly made churro that's crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Wash your churro down with some of their cocomil. I always get Strawberry and chocolate. Creamy, cold and ironically refreshing. A little sweet than I prefer but I love sipping on it for a late night sweet treat.

Inconsistent churros, never where I say I'm gonna be churros

To the owners of this business: Why have ten different Yelp listings with different addresses if you're not consistently at any of them? Do you not value your customers' time--or gas money? It's incredibly inconsiderate to have people drive across town for you to not even be there. A few months ago, I went to your Anaheim location--no one there. Today I tried your Bixby Knolls spot--same story. If you don't actually operate at each location daily, maybe be transparent about that? Post your schedule, update your Yelp pages, or at least make it clear where and when you'll be. You owe your customers better communication. Do better! For those of you looking for a new churro spot, go to Dulce Canela in Compton. I've been coming here for years, their churros are delicious but best of all they are consistent!

Seriously one of the best Churros I've ever had is right here in my neighborhood of Bixby Knolls! If you have a craving for something sweet, just come here! You won't be disappointed! They are here late night too! It's usually parked in front of the bank, main cross streets: 45th/Atlantic.

First of all the churros; delicious freshly made crispy just enough sugar and cinnamon with perfectly flavored dough served nice and hot I also ordered the plátanos fritos which were good Only downside is the guy working didn't even acknowledge us for almost 5 minutes while making someone else's order and the waited a while no big deal for the quality but then he did the same thing to the next customer over 5 mins of them just standing there waiting , I get it things get busy but at least take an order and multitask or let a customer know you will be with them in a few mins .....

Had a churro craving and this spot caught my attention specially for being open late. Service was fast and easy. The churros tasted really good with the fresa topping !! I asked to be on the side . For sure coming back !

    Looks like a turd.

This was my go to place for churros unfortunately today was a very disappointing order it's burnt and bitter you figured they would replace it with better churros and have pride in their churros.

WOAH!!! BEST CHURROS I'VE EVER HAD! The perfect amount of crispiness and not too doughy! The churrochiny came with lechera, cajeta, and fresa. It was definitely on the sweet side but I just couldn't get enough. Now for the chocomil, wow how it brought me back to Mexico! They even served it in the bags lol I loved that touch! It was the perfect balance of chocolate and banana. The service was also amazing! Two gentlemen were working and accommodated us even after we arrived at closing without knowing of course. They gave us some tasty recommendations. Also come to find out, they have a secret menu! I will definitely be back soon to try their gansito shake! Btw It's located near the Aldi supermarket parking lot.

They encourage you to order ahead, and their website is straightforward and easy to use. You don't have to order ahead, but know they might sell out of your pie. First visit was to sample pies for a birthday celebration. I got the marionberry, salted caramel (GF) and raspberry dream. On the second trip for the actual birthday pie, I picked the salted caramel b/c the group is a chocolate crowd. Third time, just wanted pie! Also sampled the cutie pies in the jar... I don't think the mini pie made it home lol. Today (#4 visit) I was craving the raspberry dream and wanted to try the apple pie. My current ranking of pie I've tried is: 1. Raspberry dream, 2. salted caramel, 3. White chocolate raspberry (cutie pie), 4. marionberry (nicely tart, full of berries but a bit dry, went well with ice cream), 5. whiskey peach (too much crust, not enough peach, not very peachy). The shop has some seating but I only saw one group seated once. I always took my pies home to enjoy. There is plenty of street parking (metered, 15 min free), and here is a parking structure around the back of the block (2 hours free).

Nonna has become our go to bakery, our sweet retreat, and one of our favorite local brunch spots. Now, they even have happy hour and, during the summer, dinner (Nonna Summer Nights)! And all of the food is amazing. Seriously, truly legit! We buy bread from there each week. No more "big box store" bread you freeze. They make their bread fresh daily. They only use fresh, locally sourced ingredients with no preservatives. It's nice to look at an ingredient list and not see a paragraph for bread (and be able to pronounce all the names!). And their cupcakes and sweets. Yo, seriously so good. And the thing is, because of the ingredients they use, we don't feel heavy or overly wired after eating cake or cupcakes from them. From other places you can tell they use preservatives, refined sugars, processed ingredients. But with Nonna, you can just taste the difference. We even had them make our special cake for our wedding! We recently tried their dinner (twice!) and it exceeded expectations. Now, mind you, all of their food has always been good but our experience was amazing. Their prix fixe menu was well put together, wine pairings on point, dessert was also delicious. Our favorite was the tiramisu! Also loved the spaghattini and casarecce pastas, and entrecôte di manzo, but everything was great. Their brunch is also great, you really can't go wrong on the menu. And I think we've gone through almost all of it! Finally, (if you've stayed with me this long!) the absolute best thing about Nonna for us is the TEAM. Hands down no question. The food is good, space is a comfortable neighborhood vibe, and all that. But truly the folks here are amazing humans. Always friendly, warm, and welcoming. If the management team is reading this, you all have a great group of people there! We will definitely be back (again and again and again) and you should too!

Located in the quaint Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, street parking was plentiful right outside the restaurant. We came around noon on Saturday, and thankfully despite their busy brunch rush we were seated immediately. Even though all of their seating is outdoors, tables are shaded by overhanging canopy and just added to the cute southern Italian bistro vibes of the place. The menu had a solid selection of both brunch and lunch items - I loved the Burrata di Campagna, which was flavorful with just the right amount of tart from the heirloom tomatoes. For my main meal I had to go with the Casarecce - one of their pastas that's made fresh in house daily. The braided pasta was wonderfully textured and soaked up all the pesto sauce without being overly oily, a perfect meal for a hot summer day. We finished our meal with a Nutella Croissant, from their artisan bakery that also makes their bread fresh every day. Perhaps I am a little biased, but the laminated dough was perfectly light and flaky, encasing a very generous filling of hazelnut chocolate cream. Our check at the end of the meal even came with a custom drawn postcard by one of the Nonna Mercato service staff - another present to add on to what was already a gift of a meal!

"If I give everyone a sample then what? No business" ... LOOL WHAT? My fiance was genuinely trying to pick something out and wanted to sample a flavor before deciding, but the staff member completely ignored him and made us feel unwelcome. We had every intention of purchasing a good amount to take home, but because of the attitude and lack of hospitality, we ended up only getting a couple of pieces and leaving. We ended our meal sharing creme brulee for dessert. It was good but also served cold. Total bill incl tip: 163.00 bucks (double ouch)!
