DELICIOUS! Came here on a saturday evening and it was fairly packed with all the other food trucks in the area. Dulce Canella has so many options to choose from but we got the Dubai Strawberries, Churros, Mini Pancakes, Atole, and Fried oreos. Everything was sooooo delicious and made fresh to order! You can see them cooking and frying everything in front of you, which is amazing! The Atole was one of the best i've had, usually they seem to be a bit more water down, but their Atole was not like that AT ALL. It was so flavorful. The strawberries they top the pancakes with and they use for the dubai strawberries were perfectly sweet too, it went well with everything. It's been a while since the last time we had stopped by, but I think we won't be coming back anytime soon. I normally like to go for the atole but even that was a miss tonight. It was really diluted and not as strong of a taste of pecan as it used to have. The churros looked fine but tasted like the oil was not only old but had a burnt flavor to it. Lastly there were two ladies working there and for them working with hot oil they should have probably been using metal utensils. They were using plastic spoons to drop fried Oreos into the hot oil as well as using foam cups to put plantains in there too. While getting our atole one of the ladies dropped the foam cup in the oil, melting it almost completely while trying to grab what she could. It didn't seem to have be the first time that had happened either, as she kept on making the churros. They also charge to pay with cards. read more

I stopped by to get a hot beverage and noticed that at the moment they were offering atole. The workers were in the process of packing up, but I still asked a few questions. Although they did answer, the responses felt delayed and a bit unenthusiastic. There were two employees present one was cleaning and organizing while I was asking questions. Hello everyone I left a review of my experience which I removed and let me explain why. Ok so when I went the experience was bad I came to Yelp and left my review. Immediately the owner responded very nicely he apologized for what I experienced and assured me that it was not acceptable for me to be treated that way. I said in the review that I would not go back but the churros are so delicious I couldn't resist so I went back. The lady I complain about gave us such a warm welcoming and the brightest biggest smile. Not sure she knew it was me lol but it was a complete 360 they made our churros fresh it was just a wonderful feel to be treated with respect. I recommend this spot over any churro place. read more

Excellent churros and deep fried Oreos! Open til 10:30pm on a Monday night and was craving something sweet. Was able to get it delivered though door dash. Churros taste fresh and crunchy outside, soft inside. You can get dips or drizzles. I got cajeta (Mexican caramel), lechera, and chocolate. My fav is always lechera. Deep fried Oreos were still warm and nice and soft inside. + They gave us a lot of extra sauces! I have been to their Norwalk location but for some reason I like the ones at this location better. We had them set up for a special treat after church for the last Sunday of 2020 much to my delight. This place use to be my favorite little spot until today. I came to get some fried plantains, worst mistake ever. First of all the 2 girls they have taking cash keep touching their face with the same gloves that they are touching the food, the lady name lupe try to get slick and give me some cold plantains she had there and put new ones on top. Wtf i return them and told her I didn't want something she had there that was old. I paid for the fucken plantains make them. Stop keeping food there, I don't know if someone returned it. And the freaken girls in the front are eating peanuts and taking cash and touching everything. I will never come back until the owners come work the stand. They use to be much cleaner. Best churros I've tasted in my life! Someone brilliant at my work had them come to our lot. I also tried their fried oreos and plantains and asked them to do it up with whatever toppings they recommended. I think they gave me ice cream, condensed milk. and another chocolate syrup topping - best dessert I've had in awhile. I like that they pack the powdered sugar separately so that the golden balls don't get soggy on the ride home. I added a side of lechera. The condensed milk meshes with the disintegrated oreo cream to bring the entire bite together. I also got their churros. They reminded me of Disneyland churros, which is not a criticism.
