I live near by, so I found them on IG and decided to give them a try. They were extremely flavorful and freshly made. Being a Mexican, the down side of everything was that they were to small. Normally everywhere we go, a Churro is long. These were half the size of a traditional one. So essentially I got 3 instead of the normal order of 6. But for a quick desert, these are bomb. It gets packed quick, so be prepared for a long wait if you decide to buy some plantains. They are bomb with all the toppings. So based on everything they got three stars. These churros are THE best. I had them cater my daughter's birthday and first of all. Who doesn't love churros right? But this is the real deal, none of that fake Americanized churro stuff. This is fresh authentic masa, fried to perfection. They were supposed to be at the party for 3 hours but we killed the churros in about an hour . Not good at all. They taste like old oil. Super skinny, I believe that they might freeze them before frying them. The fried oreas are okay, they also just taste off cuz of the oil. Maybe their batter should be thicker. Sanitation is out the window, saw them with gloves touching all kinds of things. Even rubbing their nose, now with covid, that's kinda wild. Found this spot last minute because we wanted some churros. They have a lot of different toppings for the churros which is good, along with having fried twinkies and fried Oreos. They also have atole which I personally didn't try but heard was good. I would recommend this spot the batter for the fried Oreos and twinkies isn't too oily and is very light. These are literally by far the best churros I've ever had! I've always wanted to go to places like the loop or whateva but I always felt like those places are too americanized. Well not these! Owners are from Guadalajara so you know they're delish! My husband is from there so he got excited when he found out, we will be coming back for more. UPDATE: Horrible customer service when it's busy, the girls messed up my order & forgot to give me my champurrado. If I wouldn't have asked for it they wouldn't have given it to me. Highly disorganized.... churros are good but the process they have going on really needs to be worked on. Stood in line and asked one of the lady's who do I place my order with and she said she would take it in a min while 2 of the workers were yapping away on the side. Def worth the price and wait. Perfection takes time, but they get it out in about 15-20 mins. If it's a little backed up. I'd say go during the week if you don't want to wait long. Except Monday's - they are closed. It's a steal actually. 10/10. Once you try these you won't settle for basic artificial ones anymore haha. Their churros are soooooo delicious! They taste just like the ones you buy in Jalisco! Especially with the cajeta and lechera you can't go wrong with this!
