Those churros are delicious. Reminds me of the ones I get in Tijuana. Got some with ube filling which were BOMB. She also has hazelnut and caramel.

DAMO - Strawberry matcha einspanner and latte einspanner

Hey Damo, would it hurt to let your customers know that you only set the lid on top of the drinks? You don't actually snap it down on the drink. Not knowing this I spilled a portion of my latte. When I was in line at nearby Out of Ordi a young lady near me spilled quite a bit of her drink on her hands and clothes. The poor kid was embarrassed. Please do better for your unsuspecting customers. Perhaps simply place the lid next to the drink when presenting it on the counter.

I LOVE Korean shaved ice, and Oakabing definitely hits the spot!…read more The shaved ice is so creamy, fluffy, and soft that you don't even have to chew the ice--it practically melts in your mouth. I also love that it's sweet without being overwhelmingly sweet, so you can actually enjoy the flavors without feeling like it's too much. One thing I really appreciate about this place is that they offer smaller versions of each flavor instead of making you commit to the bigger size. It's perfect if you want to try different flavors or just want a little something sweet without ordering a huge bowl. service is honestly nonexistent cus you order from the kiosk and the workers are always behind the curtain. Definitely a great spot for Korean shaved ice, especially if you love that super light and fluffy texture!

The staff seemed very tired and exhausted. Although the bingsu was already a little sweet even without adding extra syrup, I still enjoyed it. However, the music was extremely loud--so loud that I could barely hear the staff when they were speaking. I was actually a little concerned about the hearing of the employees who have to work there for several hours every day. Because the music was so loud, we couldn't comfortably eat in the main dining area, so we moved to a small room in the back. It was quiet there because there was no music, but unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes flying around. We all got bitten by mosquitoes. As for parking, there was a sign that said "Parking at Rear," but the parking area behind the building cost $5. Overall, I enjoyed the bingsu, and the staff was okay, but the extremely loud music, $5 parking and the mosquitoes in the back room made the experience less comfortable. I'm not sure if I would come back again.

Parking is pretty difficult, and valet is $5. I can easily see the parking lot getting gridlocked on a busy day. I sampled a few of their gelato flavors, including the jasmine lychee and soy sauce. Both were okay, but I just wasn't in the mood for either of them today. I ended up getting the Pandan Toast to try. The pandan flavor was really good--not too grassy and didn't taste too artificial. The ice cream also had a buttery taste to it. It might have been from the toast, but I'm not too sure. The bread itself wasn't oily, which was nice, but it was kind of dry. The pandan sauce definitely helped make it easier to eat. I probably wouldn't eat the bread by itself though because it was super hard and didn't really have much flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect from the toast, but it wasn't quite what I expected. I originally wanted to try the mango sticky rice flavored shaved ice because it looked really good in the photos, but unfortunately they didn't have it today. I'd come back to try their shaved ice when mango is in season again!

And they are so sweet and do not rush anyone, you can stay here as long as you want. My friends and I WFH so we decided to Work From MemoryLook (WFML) one day together. I'm glad we did! Great pastries in the morning, i had the cremme brûlée donut which had tons of filling, and the pea foam matcha latte which was fantastic. And I had an EXCELLENT chicken Chipotle wrap at lunch that was recommended to me by the gentleman working at memory look. I'm not certain where these wraps are made. Another gentleman would bring them from the building in the same complex. I LOVED my wrap. They have a ton of seating outside too but there aren't any outlets out there so it's harder to WFH out there unless you're fully charged. But was great for separate meetings we all had to attend. The photobooth was fun but we were so thrown off by it taking 8 photos, we had no idea how many poses we would have to come up with hahaha. I would definitely come back here anytime!

The drink itself was good, although I found the prices a little higher compared to other matcha spots I've tried. Service was on the slower side, and it took a while for the drinks to come out. The staff were okay, but not particularly friendly. (+) Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, convenient parking (-) Pricier than other matcha spots, slower drink preparation, and no double matcha option

I tried their Matcha Cloud Latte and it was pretty good! I was surprised with how good it was. Good matcha flavor that wasn't dry and topped with a creamy and tasty matcha cream top. After having a family dinner at Gabin Korean BBQ in this shopping center, we decided to stop by Anko for dessert. The owner recognized us right away and warmly greeted My Mom, saying how nice it was to see us again after such a long time. We used to be regulars here, so it was really nice to see her again. I think their taiyaki is the best in LA! They sell them in sets of 4 for $12. My Mom and my 2 brothers got the red bean-filled taiyaki and I got the Nutella and banana one, and it was absolutely delicious. The freshly baked taiyaki was so warm, and the melted chocolate Nutella inside was incredibly sweet and delicious. It was seriously so good! Every time I come here, the staff is always so friendly, and the taiyaki is always amazing. It's definitely one of my favorite dessert spots. This place used to be so popular that there would be a long line just to get taiyaki and bingsoo. There were still quite a lot of people here today, but we were able to order pretty quickly, and our taiyaki came out really fast too, which made me very happy. Back in the day, we would place our order and have to wait quite a while for the taiyaki to be ready. Today was definitely a much better experience!

Tucked away under an apartment complex with limited parking, this place serves up trendy desserts shaped like fruits. But don't be fooled, they're quite delicious. I'm personally a fan of mango anything, so their mango dessert was a hit for me. The earl grey peach was decent but not particularly mind blowing. The raspberry dessert was quite good as well. Maybe next time I'll try the rest of the menu to round out my experience here. For what you pay for, you get a pretty small amount but I imagine the time to prep these desserts is quite extensive as seen by their constant replays of morning prep time on their screens. So that's Tu Cha for you, photogenic yet yummy desserts that cost quite a bit so get your wallets ready!

Australian culinary influencer and Zumbo's Just Desserts winner Catherine Zhang is the head chef and you'll see videos playing inside the shop of her preparing the desserts. It's truly beautiful art and you're paying for it accordingly with prices varying from $13-15 for each dessert or more for bigger cake items. You can order easily on their touch screens which is nice for looking at all of the available options. I've tried two of the Petit Gateau (tiny cakes) - the My Man Go (Fresh mango, hazelnut praline, mango mousse) and the Berry3 (Strawberry coulis, pistachio praline, raspberry mousse, crimson velvet). In addition to being so darn beautiful, the flavor was just phenomenal. I loved both but slightly preferred the cubically adorable berry cake's taste. For me, it's the perfect size but you def need a spoon to break into the outer shell. Or if you want that TikTok/Instagram video biting into it, that works too. They also have drinks ranging from coffees to matchas to milk teas to tonics and teas ~ truly something to cover everyone's palate for imbibing. Evenings and weekends can get very busy so go on off hours or right at opening if you can. They have their own free parking just down the block from the storefront at 2850 W 7th St or you can try to find a slim pickens' street spot. Tu Cha is such a fan favorite for photos when friends are in town, but the prices are just a tad steep to be an everyday kind of spot.
