This was our favorite meal in the entire Seattle trip! It is on the pricey side but we shared which was plenty. Oyster Rockefeller was my all time favorite. I could've eaten it all myself. Tacos tasted so fresh. Pesto rockfish was very flavorful. Not sure if it's because we asked for it spicy, but the sauce had a kick! Very full plate and easy to share. The kids shared the bistro steak plate and it was perfect for them.

I had a great experience at Chuckanut Manor. Located on scenic Chuckanut drive, they offer a large space with sweeping views of Samish Bay - great spot to enjoy a sunset. The menu offers a good selection of seafood and other dishes. It leans toward the traditional side but is executed quite well. The manor old fashioned was solid. The Oysters Rockefeller were packed with flavor and the pesto-crusted rockfish with gnocchi was a real highlight. Service was impeccable and friendly. Recommended for a night out with family, a date, or just a treat.

Great views of the bay, attentive friendly staff and good food. A must try if you're in the area

I reserved this place for anniversary and it was honestly okay. The views are amazing here but I think the service and food fell a little flat for us. Service was a little slow. For special occasions it seems like it depends on who your server is because some servers give you free dessert while others aren't even aware it's a special occasion if you reserved a table online. The clam chowder was really thick and my partner and I weren't a huge fan of the texture but taste wise it was still good! The 5 cheese ravioli was a little bland, maybe the water wasnt salted before adding the ravioli but unfortunately it was a miss for us. The New York steak was also average but the shrimps and mashed potatoes were really good and loved the consistency. I've been to this restaurant before during happy hour and I think the food is better during that time.

Go for the views - stay for the food! Every bite was delicious and well presented. They were having a buy one get one special on select entrees; two of us had chosen the pesto crusted rock fish with ricotta gnocchi (melt in your mouth delish!) perfectly complimented with pickled fennel salad. The other had the cioppino and reported deep satisfaction. Our waiter wasn't as engaging as I would have expected for this caliber of restaurant so I probably should hold back a star; then again maybe they were just having an off night. I wished I lived in the area to go again to compare.

I made a reservation for two people for Friday the 10th at 6:00 PM, specifically noting that it was my wife's birthday; however, the restaurant offered absolutely no surprise gesture whatsoever. I felt a bit disappointed. As for the food overall: the appetizers were good, as were the salad and soup. However, the main course didn't really "wow" me

Nice spot! Beautiful view inside, though we sat out on the lawn at the picnic bench with our dog. Nice treat after driving down Chuckanut Drive. The halibut was fresh, very good, but wish it had been crispier. So, it's not my favorite I've ever had but certainly no slouch. The ciopinno was pretty good too, though I do wish there was some squid in there. Overall a nice experience you're going to pay for. We had a nice time.

Ordered two appetizers, main course and dessert. Everything was delicious. Down to the cocktails. Service was wonderful, very attentive to our needs. The ambiance was very nice and very clean. I highly recommend

Saturday lunch opening. Arrived at noon, no wait...nice. Mom, dad and wife enjoyed their selections: Reuben sandwich, street corn/prawn salad, and halibut tacos, grilled, not fried. Service by the bartender was impeccable. Ambiance was quite pleasant and food was good enough, no leftovers. Nice job Chuck Man!

I believe our waitress name was Stephanie and she was AWESOME! Celebrated a birthday, had drinks, she took pictures, our reservation was prompt and at the window as mentioned, food was amazing. Literally no complaints! Clean venue and bathrooms.

Road up a ways is still closed from the rockslide but CM is still open. Yes!! Liked the remodeled exterior and interior it was much needed to give that upscale fine dining vibe. The old sign was pure ugliness despite what one may say about preserving history. Glad that was gone. We came earlier on a weekday and got to catch the HH deal. You don't need to be at the bar to enjoy this. 2-5 weekday and all day Monday. The main menu had awesome offerings but due to my food limitations, I was so glad to find some decent offerings besides salad! Highly recommend the grilled fish tacos with pico and slaw. I got 4 and it made for a filling dinner platter they piled on so much fresh crunchy pico/slaw it was super scrumptious! The fish was grilled to perfection but you can get the fried version too. The HH Bloody Mary shooter for $6 comes with 2 shooters and all the Bloody Mary fixings. The oysters were tiny if there's more oyster it would take it to the next level. The $10 crab cake slider was delish. If you don't want to get the $28 appetizer from the main menu the one slider would do the trick in satisfying your craving. Hubby absolutely enjoyed his oyster Rockefeller! I ended up trying one and was wowed! It was way better than any Rockefeller we have had. You get 4. Umami through and through. Get this! His clam fettuccine was to die for. The chopped clams were infused throughout IN ADDITION to the copious amount on the bottom. Super garlic forward and huge portions! Very yummy! If you love linguine alle vongole, get this! The mocktail lavender lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Hubby enjoyed his mocktail margarita but he liked mine even more. Definitely not going to wait so long to hit up this wonderful gem. Worth the long drive for good food, awesome view and ambience. Great place for romantic celebration for sure!

What a wonderful experience! This was our second time here for an evening dinner and once again, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. First, the ambiance. Talk about "First Class Presentation" as everything from the decorum to the views makes this place one of a kind. Tucked away, you get a breathtaking view (get a window seat during sunset, you won't regret it). The food was delicious. Everything we tried (apps, main and dessert) was delicious. They cocktail menu had a lot to offer and the drinks were well crafted. Our Server was great at pacing the meal and had pretty good recommendations based on preferences on taste. I absolutely will return and recommend that you give it a try. 5/5.

On my way up to Bellingham on the scenic route, I happened to stop at the chuckanut manor which has the most beautiful view of the bay. The interior is neat, clean, and minimal. I love the little touches of local art and paintings. I ordered a half portion of the watermelon salad and a cup of clam chowder. The watermelon salad was super refreshing, the sweetness of the watermelon works really well with the dressing and fragrant flavors of the arugula and basil. Clam chowder was nice and thick; creamy and loaded with different things. Service was super sweet. I felt very well taken care of. Was a wonderful surprise, I loved it here.

Now, it's become a regular haunt when it's a nice day and I'm in the mood for some good pub food, a tasty cool beer and, oh, an impeccable view over a picturesque Skagit field towards towering Mt. They're also known for Friday prime rib nights, which I haven't enjoyed yet but it's on my list. The service here is super friendly. I've been three times this summer and one of the bartenders already recognizes me! It can be a little slow getting served on busy nights, so I recommend ordering as soon as you can if you're hungry. Otherwise, just settle back with your beer from their amazing taplist (or a cocktail from their full bar), enjoy the view from their vast outdoor patio, and take it all in before the rainy season returns.

She walked into the kitchen which was directly across from our table and said in an irritated voice, "we have a 4 top walk in." We sit quite a while longer before anyone emerges. We ordered, it came out, was exactly what I thought it would be (my sister had heard it was fabulous and had her heart set on trying it is the only reason we stayed). Food that is trying to hard and fails. The only food we found worth the price was the cheesecake which was very creamy and out of this world. We will not be back.... Reviews seemed promising so,I hit the freeway and cruised down. Pulled into the parking lot. It's in a casino, so be prepared to have your senses assaulted when you walk in...especially after a peaceful hike thru the forest. Made my way back, looked at the menu and decided to do the street tacos with the asada upgrade. Paid the admittedly not cheap price, I declined the SIX DOLLAR chips and $1 hot sauce...I have home made salsa verde waiting. The tacos arrived reasonably quickly and I made my escape from the cacophony of lights and sounds assaulting my brain. Glanced at the tacos ensconced in my take out box and sure enough.. 3 street tacos...and headed back home to Bellingham. Upon arrival home the tacos were removed and plated. Another reviewer mentioned they were very generous with the meat and they were not kidding...they were utterly stuffed to overflowing with steak. Accompanying them was fresh jalapeños, some lime wedges, and some sliced radishes. It looked really promising. On with the home made salsa verde and the consumption began...and so did the disappointment. The tortillas...good...the veggies...good and fresh...the meat...plentiful...and...tasteless. Yeah, as much meat as there was, and it was somewhat decently prepared, at least it wasn't tough. But, it was also not juicy...just utterly, disappointingly bland. It's like somebody made the meat but completely forgot to season it. No butter, no salt, no pepper, no sauce...just...pretty much tasteless meat. I didn't pay $16 to get utility protein. What a disappointment. This could be epic...it could be THE go to place for post hike tacos. It could be the street taco pilgrimage spot. But all I got was...meh. Just a little change in the way they cook the asada and I'll make the drive and pay the price...well, not $6 for chips...but I'd pay the asking it the steak was good. Frankly, Chipotle is better and that's not saying much. I really had high hopes. But as of now, sorry, until somebody learns how to cook steak, cannot recommend.
