a long table with balloons
Chiqui A.

My niece had a birthday party at this location. Princess helped us and she did great! Thank you Princess for making it a nice experience for everyone. When we arrived we were super early but they let us in 15mins before to get set up the balloons etc. The tables were already set up for the kids with hats, plates, cups and utensils. The foods were good perfect for the kids and adults. It was a two hour party but of course we extended another two more hours outside that. It is located by the mall so there is a huge parking space. The best part of course is when chuckee came to join the kids!

This was their $5 fries basket. That's not even 1 whole potato smh

It's disappointing to see how blatant the greed from these corporations in America has become. It's wild how some places keep raising prices while cutting value, and they don't even try to justify it. This place has gone downhill--there's little to no value left. The game pricing has been completely overhauled, food prices are unreasonable, and the redemption value is worse than ever. People work hard for their money--we're not fools. Do better.

Kenneth was very helpful and attentive. He was so polite and answered any question we had. We appreciate his super star customer service very much, he really deserves the recognition!

If you're going to have a promo on your website, make sure your locations are up to date on it and not arguing with customers about it

So not only are half of the games out of service, but no one is willing to fix them. I personally saw maintenance called 4 different times, but never actually saw them come out and look at anything. Now, I could have ignored that because children are running around out of control, standing on and kicking games and are bound to break things. Fine, whatever. The real issue came with their current promo. Through May 6th, if you tell an employee "I need a fun break", you are supposed to receive 50 free tickets per child with a $5 purchase. We tried this as we ordered a pizza and four drinks and the young lady had no idea what we were talking about. As we got ready to count the tickets and get prizes later on, we tried once more and again, the employee was clueless. My mother just so happened to see the manager and asked to speak with her. Upon explaining and even showing her the info (found on their website) that stated this, she replied that they knew nothing of this. After a lot of back and forth, we finally received 50 tickets per child in our group, but we shouldn't have had to argue about it. So I don't know if proper training wasn't given or this specific facility just didn't care, but either way, it should never take 20 minutes to abide by a current promo! ...the pizza was pretty good though.

Still the best pizza in town!! And my son can play some of the games in the front of the store! Let's keep our businesses open. The staff here is amazing and so supportive! Thank you for keeping your doors open for the community! We had a blast!

This was our first time, and we skipped the reading materials and just learned as we went, it worked out fine. We arrived on a Sunday around 4:30 PM and it wasn't busy. One thing to note: the Super Track tends to have a much longer wait than the others. Fair warning: there's a lot of exhaust. It's heaviest around the Super Track. While it's noticeable throughout the facility, the waiting areas for the other tracks felt better ventilated. I still felt like I'd chain smoked just by being there. The karts are clearly well used but in good condition. The staff are friendly, young, and clearly into go-karting (I wouldn't be surprised if they take laps themselves on breaks). They're attentive about safety without being so strict that it kills the fun. Overall, a solid four star experience.

The smell hit me first: burning rubber mixed with ozone, a bouquet that spoke of countless battles fought on these very tracks. I approached the counter, signed the waiver with trembling hands. This was it. My initiation into the world of electric velocity. The safety briefing washed over me. Speed limits. Racing lines. Flags. But my mind was already elsewhere, imagining the perfect lap, the flawless execution of every turn. Then I saw it: the kart. Sleek. Silent. Deadly. I lowered myself into the molded seat, gripped the steering wheel. The moment my foot touched the accelerator, everything changed. The instant torque slammed me back into my seat! No engine roar, no warming up--just pure, unadulterated acceleration that felt like being shot from a cannon! The first corner approached rapidly. I braked--perhaps too hard--and felt the rear end slide ever so slightly. My pupils dilated. This was it. This was the dance. Turn two. I remembered the instructor's words. Brake early. Apex late. Accelerate through. My body moved on instinct, finding the rhythm, becoming one with the machine. By lap three, everything crystallized. The track revealed its secrets to me. That slight banking in corner four. The deceptive tightness of the chicane. Each revelation was a flavor explosion on my palate--bitter defeat transformed into sweet victory! Other racers surrounded me. I could feel their presence, their fighting spirit! We weaved through corners in formation, each seeking that perfect line, that extra tenth of a second. When I finally executed a flawless outside pass on the long straight, my entire body surged with electricity! The laps blurred together in a symphony of speed. Left, right, brake, accelerate--a recipe perfected through repetition, each iteration bringing me closer to nirvana. And then, too soon, the checkered flag. My final time flashed on the screen. I stumbled from the kart, legs shaking, heart racing, a massive grin splitting my face. The other racers gathered around the timing board, comparing battle scars and bragging rights. This wasn't just fun. This was transcendent. This was speed distilled to its purest essence, served at precisely the right temperature to ignite the soul! K1 Speed had delivered a five-star experience that left me hungry for more.

I gave this location (2) stars for the staff when you come in to register (they were helpful and…read morewelcoming) and because of my food (which took a while to order because the girl who took our orders seemed like she was not all there --for lack of better words-- she made the ordering process longer and difficult than it needed to be). The biggest issue was a staff around the track --this (1) girl in particular appeared to be having too much fun slowing certain go-karts down with her red remote, imo. But I'll get back to that in a sec. We decided to eat first: Food was okay-- ordered pepperoni pizza (they almost left it in too long and some of the crust was burnt. Had to break those pieces off and eat around it) and Pepsi in a bottle. My bro got sliders, wings, tots and Pepsi. His food took a while so we couldn't really eat together. Ended up sharing my food while we waited for his to come out -- which was weird since we were the only ones there who had ordered anything. When his food finally arrived he ate some of it and threw the rest away --guess he wasn't impressed. He mentioned it was "decent". Now to the races: Multiple people came and bumped me trying to get past me --never saw her slow their go-carts down but she definitely slowed down me and my bro multiple times when we were the ones getting bumped continuously. It got to the point where I just purposely stayed the last racer just to try and enjoy the experience and made no attempts to move up the ranks. Idk what the men's restroom looked like but the women's restroom had lots of gnats! Paper towels overflowing from the discard. Important to note: For as many staff as they had lollygaging around near the track you would think the place would be spotless. There weren't a whole lot of customer so definitely some staff could've been putting in some time and effort to clean around the place. Ultimately: We paid for (3) races. Ended up only using (2) mutually agreeing it was time to get outta there. Leaving the 3rd race on our accounts for another visit that we will be using at ANOTHER LOCATION. No I don't recommend and doubt I'd be returning. This review is reflective of my visit on 11/7/25 Duration of stay around 2hrs.

Review #966 2026-032…read more This used to be AMF Bowling & was later acquired via merger by Strike Holdings LLC (dba Bowlmor Lanes), & rebranded as Bowlero in 2017. Since our last visit over the summer, they're now defunct & again renamed to Lucky Strike in 2025. Whew! Bowlero is actually closer to home than the defunct Gable House Bowl, & the very last bowling alley in Torrance after the demise of Palos Verdes Bowl prior to GHB. I went through a phase of bowling at least once per month in my YA years & recently started up again after having kids due to bowling birthday parties. I miss bowling... I bowled for the 1st time when I was teen & can even remember my 1st score of 77. I didn't bowl much, but I'm usually in the mid-range of 150 or thereabouts & have scored a few turkeys in my lifetime. At one point, I had planned to purchase bowling shoes so that I'm not using the public ones since I hung out with friends that either like to bowl or shoot pool. We were invited to a teen's 15th b-day at Bowlero & the space is huge! It has a mini arcade, bar, pool tables, & 40 bowling lanes that's equipped with lounge seats, blacklights, & HD screens that played movies, music videos, & sports. My daughter had a good ol' time with the birthday girl & their friends, most were from her Color Guard team. Both lanes seem to malfunction frequently enough that they didn't get a full 2 hours; the girls didn't seem that into bowling so it was fine. They were served pizza, chips & salsa with fountain drinks. I only wished they were either served before or after bowling to clean their hands since none of them thought to wash their hands between frames. Yikes! \(`0´)/ None could really bowl & scoring 50+ points was an accomplishment with a couple scoring 100+; the random strikes helped in between the gutters. After a couple of rounds, the girls hung out at the arcade; it's on the smaller side with some games that offer tickets that can exchanged at the automated prize hub. I thought Bowlero would be a fun place to hold my 15 YO's birthday celebration the following month because there's so much downtime for her friends to chitchat & hangout. And I happened to find a really great Groupon Deal: $84 for 2 hours of bowling + shoes rental for 6... not sure of the normal rate, but this is $7/hour with shoe rental! I kept it small to help H build relationships with her friends. It's been only a month, & Bowlero is still riddled with technical issues that we spent more time waiting for the tech to fix the problems than bowling. Even with a lane switch didn't do much to fix the frequent downtime. I even requested to be closer to the center of the bowling alley, near the front desk due to the far left lanes' malfunctions. Again, scoring 50+ points was a real accomplishment with one g/f hitting 100+ in the 1st round. At the 2nd go, H had the highest score of 81. I'm not sure when is prime time but the parking lot was half-full at each visit & it was quite busy inside with half the alley in bowling action. Bowlero is a chill place for a family-friendly bowling game or two... if only the technical issues doesn't mar the experience.
