Food is what really upset me. Went in on a hot day to grab some pizzas for the family. But to my surprise when I arrived home and ready to eat, I bite the pizza to fund raw dough almost with the consistency of chewing gum!! The pizza is thin crust! There should be no reason for it to be raw. Service in-house was ok. The Ambiance was ok there are hardly people sitting around eating and I see why now. Here is the kicker!... when you dial the contact number it's a automated person of a male voice that says Hello! And stays quiet then hangs up. If you call back it's repeats in a woman voice then no response. I want my refund! Because this situation was outrageous. I don't like writing crap reviews but if it's owed to you or your business YOU'RE GOING TO RECEIVE IT. read more

This pizzeria follows the Subway model of building your own pizza, which gets you basically the taste of pizza you want. There's lots of different vegetable, meat, and crust options but it's not quite the level of Blaze Pizza. I wish they had a keto crust option, I mean they have a gluten free and cauliflower crust so why not check all the boxes? Still the pizza was hot and lasted well in travel. They forgot our ranch sauce but I guess I'll let that slide. read more

Racial Discrimination! I went for a pizza and everyone else befire me was served with kindness, the person even apologized for threatening wait. When I got to the lone to order I was not treated the same. Every person before me asked for extra and not once did the person making the pizza state that it would be extra. But as soon as someone Black orders it's an issue. There was 5 pizza made before mine where people asked for extra toppings and there wasn't an issue no extra charge. Yet, I was told there would be an extra charge. I will never patronize this place again. The restaurant also had several lights flickering, dirty area where the sauces are, and trash on the floor. What a disappointment to the city of Carson. Sadly, the person who making the pizzas stated that she's sure that she didn't load up other pizzas. Play back the video footage! The 2 women workers present on 11/24/2025 @ 5pm had the worst attitudes. If yoi don't want the job leave so thats someone who wants to work in restaurant service can have the job. I'm completely disgusted with this place. read more

Absolutely amazing staff all around but I have to give a proper shoutout - I'm not sure who the worker was with the cool piercings & green gauges in his ear (I believe the manager) whoever he is he definitely needs a raise for the amount of kindness and patience he displayed! They got me in and out right before work and alleviated all my anxiety. I absolutely cannot thank them enough! read more

This is the ONLY pizza restaurant I go to! I started eating Pieology when they began in Torrance on PCH. Since they closed I drive to Carson to this location and the food, staff and cleanliness are great! On many occasions I have been there a few employees stand out, although I have noticed they are all hard working and very friendly. Marissa I noticed is very polite, greets customers when they enter, and she is very helpful with doing orders. She has made pizza for me and my wife on many occasions and she's great!! Also Anthony is another employee who usually works the register has always been very friendly and polite as well. I have noticed that the employees when they have the time are always busy and cleaning up. The place is very clean and inviting. The quality of the food and service is always on point. This is my go to for pizza and should be yours too!! read more

Food was good. Ready in minutes and super hot Service was good. We were greeted as son as we walked in the door. Once the pizza was ready they walked it over to our table. Ambiance: it was super casual, they had good music playing and it wasn't super busy. A big plus for me is that the fountain drink machines were clean I really don't like seeing dirty drink stations. read more

Came in with my boyfriend, the girl(didn't catch her name) making our pizzas was super friendly and patient. But, as we got to the cashier. Super rude. Disrespectful. Rushing us when we had no one else behind us. Had a bad attitude. Practically threw the change into my boyfriend's hand. Then, we got our pizza. I love Pieology, is great for people with gluten allergies. Today I enjoyed one more time the flavors of fresh veggies, cheese and the pesto was fabulous!! The station where they have all the pizza ingredients was immaculate, this is a place where you feel secure you won't get sick and you feel like eating.! The service starting with Marissa from the starting point of walking through the door the greeting that she does to everyone is very welcoming. Nowadays is very rare to hear that in a place of business. I have to say that Marissa is very impressive in her work, we enjoy her customer service so much that makes us want to come back again!! I can't forget Anthony, he is always very welcoming with his smile, patient and the help that he is always willing to do with a smile for a customer is something to admire! The team tonight was welcoming and gave us a good dinning experience , delicious pizza that I finished it all by my self it was a pizza to enjoy!! This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Pieology. First of all, the pizzas sat on a back table for about 15 minutes before I asked if those were the pizzas for my order. By the time we got them, they were cold. What was worse than just being cold, they had black dusty soot all over the bottom. You can tell it was the cornmeal they dust it with to keep the pizza from sticking. The problem is when you never clean your oven, the burnt cornmeal begins to pile up. When there is too much, it's gotten greasy and gunked up that it sticks to the bottom of the pizza. Total fail! read more

If you want to steal my order I got thin crust, garlic butter, basil, mozzarella cheese, olive, mushrooms, pepperoni, and topped off with crushed red peppers. I haven't been here in a while, and I forgot how quick and easy the process is. The customer service was amazing. The restaurant was clean. The only reason I gave a poor rating is because of the disrespectful service I received 7/25/24 by the manager. He was pushy and rushing me without fulfilling my request of ingredients on both of the pizza I was ordering due to the fact that more than 20 people had just walked in when I was there before them and was almost done with my order. The other staff members especially Frankie are usually very respectful regardless of who else may have come in. Yes, there pizza is FIRE, but the management customer service needs some attention. Haven't been to a build your own pizza in a while, so when I found myself somewhat nearby, I decided it was time. It was surprisingly unbusy on a Saturday lunch hour. Not complaining, though, I was starving. Pops got his usual sausage and pepperoni pizza. I, on the other hand, don't really have a "usual." I usually do my pickings as I go along the line. I went for the artisan crust + herb garlic oil, pesto, marinara topped with mozzarella, red onions, mushrooms, olives, garlic, pepperoni, sausage, meatball and bacon. In both pies go in the oven. Still hot when we got home and the pies looked really scrumptious. Delicious. But! (yeah, there is a 'BUT') it can be better. The outer crust was cooked to a perfect crisp and it was delicious. The inner part, however, was completely undercooked. It was chewy and almost still on the raw-ish side. Everything else was agreat. FOOD: 3. Average at best - much better if the middle part of the crust is cooked as well as the outer crust. Oh, they didn't have anchovies either. (Yeah, I'm one of those!) SERVICE: 4. Above average. Staff was friendly. VALUE: 3. Ten and change plus tax per pie. PARKING: Mall. Shared with many others. Hit and miss. OVERALL: 3.25. I would still return, but I need to make a mental note to make sure I ask them to cook the pie/crust a little bit longer. read more

We drove to this location from Brentwood as it has been advertising Pizza and Movie bundles. When we arrived, the advertisement of the movie bundle was still on the door upon entering. Once ordering the employees let us know that they were not offering the bundle anymore. When asking for how long they hadn't offered the deal for they said they stopped it a couple months before. Yet the advertisement was still being displayed on the front door. When I asked them why the advertisement was still on the door, they ignored me and would not answer my questions as I genuinely wondered. Finally, after asking again he finally said they didn't "feel like" taking it down. There is nothing wrong with not having a promotion anymore but to still advertise it is one thing. And then for the employees to be rude about it when asking about the advertisement makes me never want to go back. read more

By far THE worse Margherita pizza. There was absolutely "0" sauce. When you look at it, the entire pizza is mozzarella cheese which made the dough extremely soggy. Thin crust pizzas are known to have a nice light crunch to them. Double sauce was requested but only saw a tiny bit near the crust. This was truly disappointing as this was my first time trying Pieology. This would be a zero if i had a choice. read more

I cant believe i waited an hour for food to arrive by delivery on uber eats. And its so ridiculous how amazing the pizza is. Oh my god it was delicious, perfectly cooked and everything tasted fresh. We went on a Saturday. The area is slightly small but enough seats for a nice eating pizza day. Surprisingly I really enjoyed eating this custom pizza. We got 2 custom pizzas and one pepperoni pizza and it came down to $30 bucks for 3 pizzas. The crust is on the thinner side. But everything tastes fresh and made fresh as well. I love this Pieology. The food isn't five star but it's also a make your own pizza so it's literally made to your taste. I would personally like to thank the workers because the service was fast and efficient and thank you for your patience while my partner and his mom made unhinged pizzas. Finally, the ambiance is always friendly. There's people coming in and out and it's right next to a movie theatre so it's perfect for dinner + movie. read more

Service was unfortunately awful. I'm a college student at csudh and I've came for lunch with my service dog a couple times with no problems until today. The manager Joe insisted in making me step outside of the restaurant to the patio because I had my service dog with me. I explained how he's my companion animal and I've dined here before with no issues and instead of being considerate of the laws with service animals he proceeded to argue back with attitude. Didn't even allow me to order my food. Horrible experience my family and I will never be back. read more

The cost of the item did not really stand up to the quality paying five bucks for a thing of fries is crazy work, especially for a small batch of fries. I wouldn't even pay five dollars for McDonald's fries. All the other items seem kind of overpriced in the quality seemed like a gimmick But it's next to the car place which I have been to that is also a disaster. But if you want shoes and some food go at it but you were worn that you might not be satisfied with the food the staff are nice, but quality was terrible
