This pizzeria follows the Subway model of building your own pizza, which gets you basically the taste of pizza you want. There's lots of different vegetable, meat, and crust options but it's not quite the level of Blaze Pizza. I wish they had a keto crust option, I mean they have a gluten free and cauliflower crust so why not check all the boxes? Still the pizza was hot and lasted well in travel. Food is what really upset me. Went in on a hot day to grab some pizzas for the family. But to my surprise when I arrived home and ready to eat, I bite the pizza to fund raw dough almost with the consistency of chewing gum!! The pizza is thin crust! There should be no reason for it to be raw. Service in-house was ok. The Ambiance was ok there are hardly people sitting around eating and I see why now. Here is the kicker!... when you dial the contact number it's a automated person of a male voice that says Hello! And stays quiet then hangs up. If you call back it's repeats in a woman voice then no response. I want my refund! Because this situation was outrageous. Racial Discrimination! I went for a pizza and everyone else befire me was served with kindness, the person even apologized for threatening wait. When I got to the lone to order I was not treated the same. Every person before me asked for extra and not once did the person making the pizza state that it would be extra. But as soon as someone Black orders it's an issue. There was 5 pizza made before mine where people asked for extra toppings and there wasn't an issue no extra charge. Yet, I was told there would be an extra charge. I will never patronize this place again. The restaurant also had several lights flickering, dirty area where the sauces are, and trash on the floor. What a disappointment to the city of Carson. Sadly, the person who making the pizzas stated that she's sure that she didn't load up other pizzas. Play back the video footage! The 2 women workers present on 11/24/2025 @ 5pm had the worst attitudes. If yoi don't want the job leave so thats someone who wants to work in restaurant service can have the job. This is the ONLY pizza restaurant I go to! I started eating Pieology when they began in Torrance on PCH. Since they closed I drive to Carson to this location and the food, staff and cleanliness are great! On many occasions I have been there a few employees stand out, although I have noticed they are all hard working and very friendly. Marissa I noticed is very polite, greets customers when they enter, and she is very helpful with doing orders. She has made pizza for me and my wife on many occasions and she's great!! Also Anthony is another employee who usually works the register has always been very friendly and polite as well. I have noticed that the employees when they have the time are always busy and cleaning up. The place is very clean and inviting. The quality of the food and service is always on point. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Pieology. First of all, the pizzas sat on a back table for about 15 minutes before I asked if those were the pizzas for my order. By the time we got them, they were cold. What was worse than just being cold, they had black dusty soot all over the bottom. You can tell it was the cornmeal they dust it with to keep the pizza from sticking. The problem is when you never clean your oven, the burnt cornmeal begins to pile up. When there is too much, it's gotten greasy and gunked up that it sticks to the bottom of the pizza. Total fail! read more

Haven't been to a build your own pizza in a while, so when I found myself somewhat nearby, I decided it was time. It was surprisingly unbusy on a Saturday lunch hour. Not complaining, though, I was starving. Pops got his usual sausage and pepperoni pizza. I, on the other hand, don't really have a "usual." I usually do my pickings as I go along the line. I went for the artisan crust + herb garlic oil, pesto, marinara topped with mozzarella, red onions, mushrooms, olives, garlic, pepperoni, sausage, meatball and bacon. In both pies go in the oven. Still hot when we got home and the pies looked really scrumptious. Delicious. But! (yeah, there is a 'BUT') it can be better. The outer crust was cooked to a perfect crisp and it was delicious. The inner part, however, was completely undercooked. It was chewy and almost still on the raw-ish side. Everything else was agreat. FOOD: 3. Average at best - much better if the middle part of the crust is cooked as well as the outer crust. Oh, they didn't have anchovies either. (Yeah, I'm one of those!) SERVICE: 4. Above average. Staff was friendly. VALUE: 3. Ten and change plus tax per pie. PARKING: Mall. Shared with many others. Hit and miss. OVERALL: 3.25. I would still return, but I need to make a mental note to make sure I ask them to cook the pie/crust a little bit longer. read more

We drove to this location from Brentwood as it has been advertising Pizza and Movie bundles. When we arrived, the advertisement of the movie bundle was still on the door upon entering. Once ordering the employees let us know that they were not offering the bundle anymore. When asking for how long they hadn't offered the deal for they said they stopped it a couple months before. Yet the advertisement was still being displayed on the front door. When I asked them why the advertisement was still on the door, they ignored me and would not answer my questions as I genuinely wondered. Finally, after asking again he finally said they didn't "feel like" taking it down. There is nothing wrong with not having a promotion anymore but to still advertise it is one thing. And then for the employees to be rude about it when asking about the advertisement makes me never want to go back. read more
