Sad to see this place is closing. It was nostalgic. My dad used to take my mom and siblings here all of the time when we were kids. My dad has passed and we heard this location was closing. We all came to eat here but it was toooooo pack. We did manage to get a table for four but the rest of our party of 19 did not get to enjoy one last meal here. The lasagna was delicious. The pizza felt a little soggy in the middle but it still tastes good. I believe our lasagna came with salad that we didn't receive. But it's okay. Service was great even though the wait was long for food, service and seating. I'm telling you.... It was PACKED!!! The Italian sub was subpar. I expected more. But glad I got the lasagna lol. This place is the best. Our family has been coming for years and years and we have gotten many friends and family addicted over the years. The staff are always INCREDIBLY NICE. And the vibes are really homey and cozy. It's not super fancy but it's sooo good and you can wear sweatpants lol! The garlic bread is some of the best I've ever had and I've tried to recreate it so many times but failed , and any time I have another garlic bread it's disappointing, and I wish it was the garlic bread from here ! The cashier Jen with the long braid seems to "accidentally" overcharge people and has a terrible attitude. I ordered a plain pasta with meat sauce and she added two meatballs to the charge that added up to a little over $4 to the order When I explained that I did not add any meatballs, she then said she would correct it and all she did was change the extra charge to 1 meatball and 1 sausage. It was not the best experience having someone try to overcharge you twice in a row. I called her out again and explain that I did not add ANY MEATS to the order and to delete the extra charge. She tried to play it off like a mistake, but it did not sit right with me at all. It should not be that easy to accidentally add charges to someone's bill without noticing. Called at 10:45am for a pickup of some pizzas for work. They were ready at 11:15. -Domenick's special. A lot going on, but I liked everything going on lol. 4/5 -Ham, pineapple and jalapeño. I don't personally think pineapple goes on pizza, so I picked the pineapples off. 3.75/5 -Pepperoni and sausage. 4/5 The pizzas were $71 for the 3 mediums. Definitely childhood nostalgia with this place coming here with my parents when Dominic was still alive. As I got older, I feel like the quality fell off a bit, but just recently I gave it a shot and I was quite pleased. It still has that old-school Italian pizza joint restaurant feel with the red leather seats and the red plastic soda glasses that go with it. The pizza has definitely taken a turn from what it used to be, but for the good. The crust seems to be a lot thinner than what it was, but I like thin crust. One of my favorite things is the house dressing because it's filled with garlic and it's definitely zesty. Services is fairly quick, but beware, it definitely has the grouchy old ladies, but they are harmless but I personally like those type of joints. Little pricey but nothing too expensive.
